Clean and spacious room with a breathtaking view from windows. European-style bathroom with no cables

View was perfect, but it was disrupted by neighbors burning plastic garbage

There was nothing to be like room is clean it's only

No privacy, common balcony other people's can walk near the window. No soap in bathroom, we booked with breakfast but we didn't get it.. overall not happy.

Super mooie locatie boven op de berg met een fantastisch uitzicht over Nuwara Eliya. Wij zagen in de reviews dat het lastig was om de Tuk tuk te bereiken, maar wij vonden dat heel erg meevallen. Wij besloten een ochtend heel vroeg op te staan voor Hortons plain en de host stond voor ons om 4 uur op voor take away breakfast, super lief! We hadden in eerste instantie een kamer zonder uitzicht en dat vonden we wel jammer, maar ze gaven meteen aan dat het geen probleem was om van kamer te wisselen voor een dagje die nog niet geboekt was, later bleek dat we daar gewoon konden blijven, heel lief! Je kan kiezen tussen Sri Lankaans of Continental breakfast.

Je kon helaas geen was laten doen daar

Great and kind host ! We had dinner at Travellers Nest In and it was amazing. We livenon top floor and had a small ballontur with fantastic views. Best beds we had in Sri Lanka

No any welcome at the arrival. Limited parking facilities. Except the lady all othther members never attended on any issue.

The mother and her son. They were exceptional and so caring. All dissatisfaction finally went away due to her so homely and motherly care. Food was prepared by her own hand and so delicious 😋. She always tried to deliver extra care for her guests.

The couple room is so small. Floor covered with plastic sheet. And the washroom (probably in my room only) had a problem with the floor where water doesn't drain properly.

Sehr gemütlich, schöne dicke Zudecken, heißes Wasser. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett. Das Zimmer war toll mit wunderschönem Ausblick.

Die Böden der Zimmer könnten erneuert werden. Der Preis im Vergleich zum Rest von SriLanka ist etwas zu hoch.

Honnêtement je ne met pas 10 facilement mais tout était parfait. L’accueil plus que souriant, avec un petit thé, la chambre de grande taille et confortable et très propre. Il est possible de dîner sur place et la nourriture préparée est vraiment excellente (Surtout le Rice&Curry). Idem, petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! Merci pour le kit de couture qui m’a permis de réparer mon sac, merci pour la visite des Thé Factory et des Waterfall.

Insonorisation un peu faible des chambres mais comme partout au Sri Lanka mais amplement compensé par le reste, c’est vraiment du détail cela ne nous en rien empêche de dormir.

Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, panoramic views from the balconies. Accommodation run by a family who are very friendly and polite, especially the son is helpful, gives tips on what to do and helped us with the transportation to the nearby train station.

There was a lot of noise throughout the house, especially in the mornings, the walls and ceilings were thin so we could hear chairs being moved and everything going on outside. Only cold showers, which normally don't bother us, but as it was raining and the temperature was low, it wasn't comfortable and we had cold feet most of the time. Additional blankets or slippers for guests would improve the service.

Hele aardige mensen die deze locatie runnen. En ze koken ook echt super goed. Met een aantal kleine improvement’s zou ik ze snel een hoger cijfer geven.

Teveel schimmel in de badkamer, deze is echt gewoon vies. Er kan veel gewerkt worden aan de hygiëne van deze locatie. Her matras ligt op zich prima maar de kussens zijn om te janken.

The breakfast was okay

we booked a mountain view room when we checked in they gave us a room without a mountain view and they kept saying because it was dark you couldn't see the view in the morning there wasn't a mountain it was just a building, thankfully they changed the room the second day to the real mountain view but the thing that I paid the first night for mountain view

Nothing they are very bad and not clean, there’s always bad smells, the room is witted and the guy there ROKA is rip off our group and dealt very bad

Rooms look different color and outdated compared to photos, fireplace doesn’t have dry firewood when raining, can hear all sounds throughout the building

Owner -family is really great to get along …they helped a lot and even offered free drop in at city centre when it was raining and we couldn’t find tuk-tuk.. Served delicious breakfast .. Overall is a great property and we enjoyed our stay a lot ..Dampening was continuous rain -but people at hotel made our stay comfortable

Our stay at travellers nest inn was just amazing. The homestay is located a bit outside of the town center and offers great views over nuwara eliya and the surrounding tea plantations. Even more amazing than the view was the family hosting us. On our first evening we sat after having a great dinner at their fire place drinking some hot tea. We could even dry our shoes after they were soaked due to the rain. Breakfast was great as well - we definitely recommend to anyone staying in Nuwara Eliya! 😍

We were very comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming always happy to help. The ideal place for low budget travellers which you could find very much value for what you spend. All were perfect. Just a suggestion for the owner. May be you could increase a price a bit and provide more Accompanyments for the breakfast such as sausages / mushrooms and bacon to be served with the omelette and the omelette with 2 eggs / platter of tropical fruits would have been great. Anyways this is just a suggestion from my point of view. But the breakfast is absolutely great and healthy.

I don't have anything to Complain. Highly recommend this place. The hosts were super amazing.

Beautiful location with beautiful views, warm welcoming family, delicious dinner made by lakmini (Rice & curry is the best) and his son Ruka suggested us many places to visit in nuwara eliya! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quite environment, warm evening fire, I highly recommend this place to visit in Nuwara eliya!

Vriendelijke mensen. We kregen een ontbijtpakket mee toen we erg vroeg weg gingen. Er lag een heerlijk fleecekleedje voor als het in de avond wat kouder werd.

Kamer is licht gehorig.

Badkamer is raar ingedeeld. Water van douche loopt niet goed weg, waardoor wanneer je naar toilet moet nog in een plasje douche water staat. Klamme kamer, maar is normaal door hoogte en vochtig weer denk ik
