I wondered wheter I should write an opinion or keep this island's treasure in secret for us and our friends. But I decided that it would be unfair to Marta and she was such a great host. The villa in real is even more impressive than the pictures you see. It offers 100% privacy but is also very close to all the best places to visit in the northern part of the island. We loved the style of the villa, the pool, the lush greenery of the garden, all the little details that are put there by Marta, that make you feel that you are surrounded by luxury and calm. Thank you Marta for creating such a perfect place!

This delightful property gave us the perfect place to relax and unwind. It's stylish decor, verdant garden and well equipped kitchen were just great. The drive is a little precipitous but we soon got used to this in our little hideaway. Marta the owner was simply delightful and so, so helpful; nothing was too much trouble and she was full of ideas for trips out.

We stayed at the villa in January 2020. The location is close to local amenities and the coast but it is very secluded and has fantastic views. The villa and gardens are beautiful and very well cared for - the pictures are lovely but it was better than we anticipated. Marta the owner was also lovely, incredibly thoughtful in terms of what her guests need and great in her communication, both in advance of our stay and while we were there. We would absolutely recommend it and hope to return.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect villa for our first visit to Tenerife. The location is wonderfully peaceful but so easy to get around the island if you can drag yourself away from this idyllic oasis! Marta was the perfect host, giving us many helpful tips and recommendations to explore. The villa was light and tastefully decorated - and everything worked perfectly! Well situated in the North of the island, quite close to many attractions. Quiet and clean. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Last week we stayed at this accommodation and enjoyed our time very much. The house is spacious, bright and very clean. Also there is a cottage in the garden with another bed & bathroom which is very cosy and has a great view. There are 2 terraces so you can have breakfast in the sun, but also have afternoon drinks in the sunshine on the other terrace. There is sufficient shade if desired as well. We were surprised about the look and size of the garden and the pool, it's even better than in the pictures :-) Marta is a very warm and welcoming host who made our holiday even better with her messages/pictures for pre-holiday fun, recommendations when we arrived and her punctuality to meet us for the key exchange. Very much appreciated!

My husband and I stayed in this Villa for 6 nights for our honeymoon. We have nothing but praise! The Villa itself is lovely and clean, nicely decorated, with everything you could need for your stay. The pool is brilliant, a nice size for a cooling dip. The location is very secluded! Only a couple of other houses can look onto you. You will definitely need a car if you're staying here, the hills are a killer! But there is lots to do just a short drive away. Marta met us at the Villa, and she was fantastic. She gave us lots of tips about the Island, where was good for food, where to shop, days out etc! Nothing was too much for her, she was amazing! Overall we cannot say anything bad about our stay in this Villa. If you need a relaxing break away from city life, this is perfect!

We liked very much Marta's warm welcome and the stay in the house. The Garden is gorgeous and the views are perfect. Unfortunately the weather in June was more like November in London. But travelling around the island is easy with a rented car which you need anyway to get to the house.

This is a small cottage (2 beds, 1 bath) plus an extra cottage if you need it, decorated stylishly and well equipped; a good bed and a decent shower. We were looking for a peaceful, quiet place, in the country and that is what it was, you will sleep well. We loved watching the lizards in the garden and visiting historic Icod and La Orotava close by. We didn’t use the dipping pool. The only English TV is Sky News (lots of German). Wifi was fine as an optional extra. If you follow Marta’s instructions to the letter, you will find it OK, it’s not very out of the way. The steep concrete drive was fine, not dangerous. I don’t like heights and I was fine with it and with the local driving, but I didn’t head too high in the hills where it can get a bit hairy. We had a lovely time and especially liked the owner. The neighbours cat wants to be stroked but not picked up! A pretty little place, lovely and quiet in a busy island, but close to a seaside village with good bars and restaurants. A woman’s touch.

We had a lovely stay in the small restored cottage. Most mornings we were greeted with sparkling sunshine over the sea view. The house itself is very comfortable and the surroundings are plush and relaxing. The house is clean and very comfortable. I enjoy cooking and especially enjoyed the plentiful fresh vegetables from the local weekend market. It's a good location for exploring the rest of the island although you do need a car that copes with steep inclines. Marta is extremely helpful and gracious. She sent excellent directions and did some basic shopping for us since we were arriving late. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this property.

The property is easy to find if you follow Marta's excellent directions,the drive down to the house is a little daunting at first,but soon got used to it.The house it's self is lovely,so private set in lush grounds with a small pool.Good views from the front of the property. The house is equipped with everything needed to be able to self cater including a washing machine. It was certainly one of the nicest rentals that we have stayed in and the owner was very attentive to.

I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a stay full of peace and quietness away from the masses. There is so much to discover at Tenerife, never the less you should take the time off and enjoy the setting of the house. What a fantastic place to stay, my wife and I rented this house for the whole of November and were very happy with our choice. The house and gardens are much bigger than we thought and everything looks like it does in the photographs which is always a pleasant surprise. The house is well situated in a rural setting but also close to a number of small towns and villages for all the daily basics. It's a ten to fifteen minute drive to the shopping centre in Puerto de la Cruz where there's everything you'll need for your stay. There's also a great farmers market at about a mile and a half away on a Saturday and Sunday morning which is a must do. Location wise it's just about perfect for exploring the west and north of the island which is much prettier than the south, the house also has stunning views down to the sea. Marta the owner is delightful and made us very welcome, she even made time to join us for a coffee when we visited Santa Cruz. Nothing was to much trouble and she's there to help if needed, we would recommend this property unreservedly.

I never do reviews, but this place deserved one... I too had done lots of internet research to find the perfect holiday house. The photos of the property don't disappoint. The house is lovely with everything you need for self catering. Plenty of towels, bedding and even a hair dryer. Store cupboard items that other guests have bought are left in the pantry. There was plenty of proper coffee and basics to cook with. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked. The house is well presented and furnishings were excellent. The living area is open plan and split level between the lounge and dinning area. There are lots of steps... steps to the front door, steps in the living area, step in the bathroom, steps to the garden, lots of steps to the guest house in the garden, so this is not a property for the less mobile or families with small children. The access to the house is via a very steep drive. Ensure you book a hire car that can cope with the gradient! Parking is plentiful and secure at the property. You will be asked to lock both the wooden gates to the property and the iron gate at the exit at the top of the drive at all times. We loved this as we hired motorbikes too and were happy knowing they were totally secure when going out in the car. As a couple we really enjoyed the total privacy, seclusion and peace and quiet. The garden is not over looked at. The pool is not heated so was very cold when we stayed in April. The garden is a sun trap all day though so great for sun worshippers. The views from the house are fantastic. I loved the sea views from the bedroom and front of the house. From the guest house, the views are even better... banana plantations, sea views and a great sunrise. Look up hill and you can see Mount Teide. We have stayed in the area before so knew our surroundings. There are supermarkets off TF5 and a brilliant farmers market on the weekends at the bottom of the hill. We tended to head to Puerto de la Cruz for eating out although there are lots of little places near the house. We just needed another weeks stay to get round to visiting them! Marta, the owner, will meet you at the property on your arrival. She is lovely. She provides a folder with information on the area and suggestions on places to go/eat. She is very informative. There are maps and tourist guides at your disposal. We loved this property and wouldn't hesitate to book a stay again. It is the perfect place to get away from it all.

We stayed at Marta's house for one week in March with my boyfriend and could not have enjoyed it more! I spent quite some time in internet to search for a perfect holiday home in Tenerife as we didn't want to stay in the tourist resorts- we wanted something more authentic and private. When I found this property I got so excited and I was actually a bit nervous because I thought it was too good to be true! But it was exactly as promised and even better - the pictures doesn't lie, but the views are even more amazing! Marta's background in interiour design really shows, as a bit of an addict of pretty interiors, I was amazed - every detail of the house was so thought trough - every corner of the garden and pillow of the couch. And of course the views - it was so great to wake up to look over the hills, banana plantations and sea, drink coffee on the terrasse. We were also lucky to have great weather to enjoy the time by the pool (and cold white wine on the terrasse;)). We loved also that the house was so private, no other houses nearby but at the same time all the shops, restaurants, little villages, sea (and the natural pools which was amazing experience for us!) and even farmers market were so close. Tenerife is such a beautiful island with so many things to offer, after also visiting south side tourist areas during one of our roadtrips (car is a must! The roads are so good and the highways take you everywhere, even south side, very fast and with car you can explore so much) we were especially happy to choose the house - we really prefered the lucious green nature and privacy over the growded tourist areas. Marta gave us also great tips about where to go and even though she gave us full trust and privacy to stay at her house, we always felt she was there for us when we had any questions or if we would have had any issues (we didn't however :)). She is a super super friendly and sunny person, very organized as well with all directions and recommendations etc. I have been to many places around the world, but this was no doubt the best holiday I have ever had! I really hope to return one day. Thank you so much Marta! We miss you and the house already :)

This home is located In quiet, rural, scenic surroundings; off the beaten track, but still conveniently near the Autopista del Norte The extremely kind, hospitable and helpful owners have made sure that everything is stylish and very comfortable. The house is very tastefully appointed, and shows a love for detail. This small paradise is a great place to completely relax. We were very comfortable here, and would have liked to have stayed much longer. In landschaftlich reizvoller Umgebung, ruhig und naturnah, abseits vom Touristenrummel, aber trotzdem verkehrsgünstig zur Autopista del Norte ist dieses Domizil gelegen. Die überaus netten, gastfreundlichen und hilfsbereiten Besitzer haben alles sehr stilvoll und komfortabel, mit viel Geschmack und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. In diesem kleinen Paradies kann man herrlich entspannen. Wir haben uns in hier äußerst wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben. Dave + Gila

The house is really lovely, clean and well-maintained, situated in a beautiful garden full of exotic plants.The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable.There is also a large TV, which we never used, because in the evening we preferred sitting on the terrace or "swimming" in the pool. On arrival we were met by Marta and her family and given all the necessary information about the property, shops, beaches...Then we were left on our own which was appreciated because on holiday we like our privacy. The property is highly recommended for all who like tranquility and relaxation in rural location yet with all modern facilities.

Das Haus liegt etwas höher an einer Bergstraße, dennoch wirklich nicht weit ab, man ist in 2 Min auf einer zentralen Straße. Durch die Lage auf einem Berghang hat man einen sehr schönen Blick aufs Meer! Die Nachbarn sind nicht in Reichweite sodass man wirklich ungestört im Haus ist. Die Einrichtung ist hell, modern aber gemütlich und äußerst geschmackvoll! Es ist absolut alles da was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! We have already rented quite a few houses in many different countries because we don't like to stay in tourist hotels for our vacations, but this is one of the most tastefully furnished houses we have ever rented. We stayed there two weeks and enjoyed it very much. It has a lovely terrace, a nice garden and is very quiet. The location is very convenient, there are nice restaurants not far away, at San Juan and Las Aguas, a few shops at La Guancha and a very good shopping center near Puerto de la Cruz. We found it also to be a good starting place for sightseeing. Martha and Nestor are very nice hosts and supplied us with all necessary information. We had expected a warmer weather, and therefore appreciated the electric heater available in the house. We wouldn't have any restriction to recommend this lovely rental, but prospective renters should know that the access lane is rather steep and a good car is a must. François and Christa S.

This is a beautiful property that has been sympathetically renovated to make the most of the surroundings. Very comfortable and private. The kitchen is very well equipped and the outside area has a very nice terrace for eating and relaxing. There are some good restaurants nearby in Las Aguas and the local market was excellent. The owners of the property met us on arrival and were very helpful in making recommendations on places to visit and where to shop and eat. We would definitely consider staying here again on a return visit to Tenerife.

When we first saw the house, it was a lovely surprise! It was very clean, and beautifully styled with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was a peaceful little oasis and one of the best holiday rentals we have had so far. The Garden is full of exotic plants and the views down to the sea are magnificent. The house is set away from the road by perhaps 500 meters down a steep driveway. It is very quiet and there are no neighbouring houses to be seen. Our teenage daughter enjoyed living in the separate little lodge which is perched at the top of the hill in the garden , which has even more impressive views across to Puerto de la Crux. The interiors are modern bright and spacious. All in all you couldn't ask for a better place to stay if you don't like the idea of the hustle of the main tourist centres.
