Great location, amenities, and hosts

This is our 4th year returning to the property. It is always super clean and has pretty much everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The owners are great. Easy to communicate with and super friendly with great advice on what to check out and anything going on event wise. They are right next door which was great incase we needed anything but they aren’t intrusive on your stay. We love coming back with our family/friends each year. We stayed with a 1, 4, 7, 10, and 12 year and 4 adults. Plenty of space in the house for all of us. The gift shops and restaurants were all within walking distance. Definitely a great location to be. We can’t wait to come back next year.

We had a great time the house was a bit larger than I expected and it has a great boat dock we put to use. We will definitely be checking in again if we head up your way.

Thus is our 6th time at Court and Louise place and as always it was perfect! Looking out to see sunset over Boldt castle is awesome. Kitchen is well stocked for family dinners!! Beds are super comfy!! Love this place!! Joan

If you are searching for a cozy, spacious, all around comfortable home to vacation at, look no further! Paddles on the Porch offers a deck with spectacular views, enclosed porch w/ fun bar and plenty of seating, close walks to golf course, church, mini mart, bars, lots of restaurants, tour boats, public beach, parking. So much fun!!

Fantastic!

What a place! We could paddleboard straight from the dock, head on over to the Tiki Bar, or walk into town. There happened to be "Blues on the Bay," a free music festival going Labor Day weekend of our trip. There was plenty of space for two sets of grandparents, ourselves, and our young son to spread out. Definitely recommend! There was something broken with the grill and Court came right over to bring the parts and replace - very nice hosts :)

This is our 3rd year returning to the property. The house was clean as usual and it was easy to contact the owners if we needed anything or had questions. The house is in the perfect location. Right on the water and shops super close by. Pretty much everything you could need is in walking distance. Waltons market around the corner was super convenient for the kids snacking needs and had some delicious breakfast sandwiches. The kids loved being able to walk to all the gift shops and the fudge/candy shop. We can’t wait to return next year and make more amazing memories.

We had 10 family members in this home and it was plenty big enough for everyone. It was very clean and stocked better than we could have hoped. The owners where very attentive, but still very respectful of our privacy. Louise showed us everything when we got there, and Court was available to take care of a very - very - small issue we had - the hosts where great! The location was fantastic. We loved the charm of the house while still being completely updated. The beds where super comfy. Honestly we have nothing negative to say! It was a great vacation and we would not hesitate to book again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at paddles on the porch. The house had absolutely everything we needed a more. A great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!

The property was beautiful over looking the river, the location was fantastic and within walking distance to bars and restaurants with so much to do in this area. The rooms and house was spacious and plenty of room for our girls weekend of 10!

Three couples stayed here for a week while pontooning on the St Lawrence River. The house was immaculate and well provisioned. The host was helpful and friendly. We used the dock, which was located right behind the house, so we didn't have far to go to get on the boat. If you want to take a tour boat they are very close and it is a short walk to the downtown area stores. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone going to the Alexander Bay area.

Court and Louise were fantastic! Extremely friendly and very thorough with the check in process. The house is very quant with a lot of history. We will definitely be back!

This was our 3rd stay at Paddles on the Porch. We love it. Its spacious clean and great for families. The backyard and supersize grill is perfect for a great BBQ. The location on the river is perfect for morning sunrise and evening sunsets. The deck with lots of seating is fabulous for daily chats with easy access to coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Court and Louise are great hosts always ready to help but not intrusive. We will be back!

Was our second time staying at Paddles on the Porch and it did not disappoint. It was clean, spacious and within walking distance to everything. Court and Louise were great hosts.

Our family of ten had a wonderful time at this rental, the owners were extremely nice, the house was very clean and well stocked. It was close to restaurants and shopping as well as tourists attractions. We had fire in fire pit grilled outside, and roasted marshmallows. Awesome family time.

Rented out this house and another with 19 people total This property's grill and picnic area were great for when the group go together. The home had a number of nooks making it possible to get away from the group when needed. I ended up using the dock's at the other house. The docks at this house are great to fish off for kids but are angled a little funny for boat use. Perhaps they would have shuffled the moorings had I used it.

I highly recommend this... Great place.. Location etc.. 5 stars for sure

Amazing views, clean house, amazing host and all around great vacation. So glad we came back this year. Definitely plan to return.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, largely due to the wonderful hosts, Court & Louise. The only real negative is that all 4 beds (listed as queens) were actually double/full with queen size sheets. The king size bed was a true king, but perhaps they were told that they were queen size and they never actually measured the beds.

Owners, Court and Louise, have set up a really nice place to stay. They were very responsive to our needs and requests. The home is nicely updated and very clean. Couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location for launching and docking our boat. Downtown Alex Bay was only a few minutes walk away for shopping and dining. We had such a good experience we have already booked our next stay.

We return every year to Paddles. Its super clean, kitchen is well stocked and the backyard view and amenities can't be beat. Great place to picnic and enjoy the firepit. Centrally located to town too!!

Stayed here for a long weekend in June for a bachelorette party! The property owners were extremely helpful with all aspects of the weekend. The house is perfectly located for walking to shops, restaurants and night life! Loved staying here and hope to do so again some time!!

Court and Louise were close by to the property and kindly explained all of the house rules and requirements. This is within walking distance to downtown and nearby restaurants with a gorgeous view of the Bay off of the back porch. Very clean and well kept property that easily accommodated all of my large family and allowed them to relax and enjoy a beautiful weekend. Thank you Court and Loise for sharing this lovely property! We cant wait to book another fishing charter and come back!

My mother-in-law had never been to Alexandria Bay so all the kids got together and gave her a weekend as a Christmas gift. This was the perfect house for 7 adults and 1 child. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Location is perfect right on the water and walk to everything! The house was very clean and has everything you need. The only thing I would point out is there is construction going on next door and if you wanted to sit outside on the deck it's quite noisy during the day. Court the host was very responsive and when we couldn't figure out the A/C units he got back to us right away. This was a wonderful weekend getaway and we would definitely stay here again.

This property was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend away. Court was a very friendly and accommodating host who made sure we had everything we needed upon check-in. The house is beautiful and was very clean. The location was also very convenient! The house is right on the water and is walking distance from everything in A-Bay. We all loved our stay here and definitely plan on returning!

The house was exactly as listed and described. Big kitchen fully stocked, nice back yard with a huge grill and fire pit (our toddlers enjoyed their first s’mores). House is within walking distance to everything in town. The beds may need to be upgraded at some point, but we brought our own pillows which helped.

The property is a short walk to town and adjacent to the Riveredge Resort. Rental was clean and owner made sure you had everything you needed, and supplied wood for the fireplace. If you have a boat, the dock is not much and requires a couple of people to maneuver. The backyard is a little funky, and views are a little skewed because of the orientation of the yard and the adjacent marina. But overall it's quaint and recommend for small groups who want to be close to town.
