This is one of the nicest VRBO properties I have ever stayed at. Spotlessly clean, well supplied with everything and in a great location for seeing the sites of Edinburgh. On a quiet street between the Oxford and Cambridge bars! Perfect!

Six of us senior ladies flew into Edinburgh airport and took an Uber to our VRBO. We were pleasantly surprised to find it even better than we had hoped. Management and the owners were both very hospitable and everything was just great and as indicated in the book we found shopping for groceries nearby

Spotless apartment in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from Edinburgh city center. Attentive host available at a moment’s notice if needed. Spacious bedrooms with super comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Plenty of room to spread out or gather together in living areas or large kitchen/dining. What can we say other than our entire family holiday stay was nothing short of amazing. The townhouse was so inviting, very spacious for all, comfort all around. Upon arrival, we found a delightful basket of treats which was a welcomed sight after a long flight. The home was clean and tidy, just as described. We can’t wait to come back again on our next family holiday and we can’t recommend this property enough!!! Excellent!!!

We were on holiday as a family of seven adults. We loved how central the property was to everything, nothing was more than a 15-20 minute walk. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished and we loved the layout with the kitchen on the first floor. It was the hub of the place! Everything we needed was supplied and we appreciated the goodies left for us too! We found the street to be very quiet and right off George Street too. Would definitely come back again.

Large property with plenty of beds. Very clean and modern, with all amenities needed, including washer and dryer. Really appreciated the goodie basket when we arrived. Location is perfect in Newtown, walkable to everywhere in Edinburgh. Quiet street although the seagulls are bonkers at 3-5 AM when they see the sun rise. Convenient to both Cambridge Bar and Oxford Bar.
We would totally stay here again and we adore Edinburgh.

This wonderful townhouse was located in a perfect city center location. It is in walking distance to just about everything your site seeing heart desires, also a ton restaurants and shopping. The townhouse is 3 levels. Bottom level has a living room, bedroom and separate bathroom. The 2nd level has a 2nd living room, a small single sized bedroom, the kitchen and dining area. The 3rd level has 2 large en-suite bedrooms. The street the home sits on is quaint and historical looking with the cobblestones. The home itself is restored beautifully. The only minor suggestion I have is to possible replace the carpet in the carpeted areas such as the 1st level bedroom with something softer. The carpet now has a rough texture and not comfortable on bare feet. Again it is a very minor suggestion. This home is a great place for family, friends, or just about anyone.

This property suited us very well for what we wanted. Good sized bedrooms and plenty living accommodation in a central venue. It was easy walking to the various events we had planned. Beds were comfy, nice fluffy towels and good seating areas. The welcome hamper was very nice. Communication with the manager was also good. There was some street noise to be aware of though.

We were only able to stay two days, but the location is fabulous close to grocery, restaurants, and our favorite pub “The Oxford”, just a few doors down. Very quiet at night and peaceful for a large city. Royal Mile is a simple 30 min walk.

Beautiful property - every detail taken care of! Spread out over 3 floors - plenty of room for everyone! We had 6 of us and we all had our own space and plenty of areas to congregate together to talk over plans or play a game with a glass or two of wine!

Located so conveniently to the heart of Edinburgh - easy for exploring with numerous restaurants, pubs and shopping nearby.

Our family of 5 adults and a teenager all agreed this place was spectacular! The location was perfect, right around the corner from what became our favorite coffee shop, it had easy access to all the things we wanted to see. The home was very comfortable and spacious, there was a room for everyone. The hosts had a welcome basket and stocked the fridge with water, milk and orange juice! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot and relaxing. We also loved the washer and dryer! We would absolutely come back if we're ever in town again!

We were a group of 7 and this exquisite town house was perfect. Awaiting us was a lovely welcome basket of goodies. The information they left for groceries stores, appliance use etc. was great. However, it was the town house itself that was just so lovely. It was ideal for morning planning and evening debriefing (with a wee dram or some wine). It is perfectly located with shopping and sites (Dean's Village, Royal Mile ) near by. We had a least one stop at he Oxford (for Ian Rankin fans). We would highly recommend this vrbo and should we find ourselves in Edinburgh again would be delighted to stay here again. Thank you Christine for your excellent communication when we found ourselves in a bit of limbo hiking in the highlands.

If only every property rental could be like this one!! We enjoyed our Edinburgh stay so much that the rest of trip just could not measure up! This home is perfect from top to bottom. The welcome basket of treats and basics stocked in the refrigerator is not only an excellent touch, it also helped to make us feel immediately at home. It’s hard to be away from your comforts but this house enhanced our stay to give us a proper holiday. Edinburgh is a gem, the people are fantastic and if you get a chance to stay at this property, you will definitely want to come back. It was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. There was a sumptuous gift basket of local treats which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was the height of luxury: loads of room, the newest of electronics (a blue tooth speaker, large display screens, wireless charging pads) many items of comfort such as dressing tables, top-of-the- line furnishings and accessories that were comfortable and stylish. Extremely roomy and comfortable home in a great location for exploring Edinburgh. Access was simple and communication with the hosts was very good. They also left a very thoughtful gift basket with high quality snacks and drinks. The two rooms with king size beds and nice en-suite bathrooms made the stay a joy for the four adults while the two other bedrooms were perfect for the kids. The kitchen/dining area and the two living rooms were also spacious, nicely decorated, and well appointed. We loved our stay here. It should be noted that the home is spread over three floors which was a plus for us, but could be a slight issue if you have mobility issues. We would not hesitate to stay here again and appreciate the hosts hospitality. Thanks!

Great location; lovely, well stocked and well managed property!
We had 3 adult couples in our group and selected Mitchell's Townhouse based on the location and excellent reviews. Booking was very easy, the property manager was great to work with, and the house was extremely clean and well stocked. We really appreciated the welcome basket which included wine, chips, chocolate, coffee, etc. Two of the couples were able to use the top floor bedrooms (which were essentially dual master/primary bedrooms).
One thing to note is that the ground floor bed was smaller than expected, so the 3rd couple in our group had one spouse sleep in the ground floor bedroom and one spouse sleep in the twin bedroom on the main level. There is not a bathroom on the main level, so the person sleeping in the twin room needed to walk up/down the spiral staircase to access a toilet/shower. The house was lovely and the location was ideal, so it was not a major issue, but I just wanted to share since we were envisioning the Townhouse to be able to easily sleep 3 adult couples.

Property has everything you need. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. It is in an excellent location close to Princess Street. Loved how it was decorated for Christmas.
