Perfect location w/a great balcony. Comfortable and clean accommodations. Easy walking distance to Old Town.

The accommodations were perfect. The location from activities and old town were terrific. What I enjoyed the most was sitting on the balcony overlooking the old town, with the lit bridge. I highly recommend this VRBO. THANK YOU Mariana for hosting our visit, I will highly recommend it to friends and family. ❤️❤️

Modern Clean Everything you could ask for Loved it

Property was as described, and like others mentioned the downstairs construction was much different than the unit itself. We had some issues with the water, however, which was less than desirable, but it was turned back on within a couple hours of our arrival. Last note would be parking. Yes, there is a lot but it was packed and hard to find space.

From the outside and interior of the building, you may think you made a mistake in renting this apartment, but don't worry, as the apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a very nice view from the balcony. Location is great. Only a 5 minute walk across the bridge to the old town. The only thing I was not prepared for, was the lack of free parking. The parking was sparse and paid from 8:00 to 22:00. Also, since the entrance to the building is very hard to find. It's on the left SIDE of the building, so I would suggest setting up to meet the owner/manager outside to help. If I am ever in Zadar again, I would probably stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great host and fantastic modern apartment with great views of Zadar.

Marijana was a fantastic host, making sure our check in and stay went smoothly. The apartment is spacious and spotless providing us with the essentials we needed for our two night stay. The location couldn’t be better. The walking bridge into the old city a short block away. Views are nice from its expansive balcony. We had a wonderful stay here! So convenient (free parking!), and super easy to walk back and forth across the well-lit bridge to Old Town. Lots of bakeries, coffee shops and bakeries even closer. The apartment itself is spotless (gleaming white tile with heated floors), modern, quiet, comfortable, spacious and sunny, with extraordinary 8th-floor views of the city (the building itself is a bit dreary, but just think of it as a historic relic of Cold War-era Yugoslavia). Marijana provided excellent dining and sightseeing recommendations. Would stay here again in a hot second.

The view from the apartment is fantastic! Our host, Marijana, was super friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting her and learning about Zadar. She also gave me tips about driving in Croatia, which was REALLY helpful (thanks Marijana!). The aparment is located on the 8th floor and has free parking next to the building (we had a car). Don't worry about hauling luggage up 8 floors, there is a lift! It overlooks the pedestrian bridge to Rovinj (which lights up at night for a great picture). It's about a 1 min walk to the bridge...really convenient. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable! It was great relaxing on the sofa (with chaise loumge) while watching a movie. The apartment also has a washing machine!!!! This was very handy to wash clothes from our last destination of our vacation. There is a grocery store in front of the apartment, a Mueller store ("Walgreens" type store) around the corner (I bought a 220v electric razor there). The apartment had every amenity we needed (coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, linens, towels, etc). The apartment itself is a modern style and ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Everything worked perfectly and was extremely clean. I really don't see why people stay in a hotel when places like this make everything so perfect. I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, well furnished. Good communication. The best part was being so close to town and the bridge to see the sights. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Property manager was very attentive and helpful. Property was just like the photos - very nice. Also a very convenient location to old town.

This property is close to all the buzz of Old Zadar but u are not in it so parking is easier and the ability to get away from the crowds to a quiet retreat in just a few minutes is a great feature

Very good location just across bridge from Old Town. Beautiful view & excellent suite for 2 couples. Marijuana went out of her way to accommodate our late arrival. She also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations & explained many of the local attractions for us to visit. Highly recommended

This is a lovely flat, well located within Zadar. We had a lovely stay.

As mentioned in previous reviews, don’t let the impression of the entrance way sway you, because you will be wowed once you get up to the apartment on the 8th floor. The elevator to take you up to the 8th is very small and slow but again the apartment is worth the ride. The balcony is very large with nice view. You are steps away from the footbridge into the old city. Marijana is very friendly, responsive, and accommodating.

Awesome apartment and really fantastic location. It has an elevator and only a few mins away from the old town. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place in Zadar.

Incredible place with amazing views.

Great location, great view from the balcony and well appointed apartment, The pictures are exactly as the apartment is. Marijana is fantastic and very responsive. The unfortunate part is the substandard building it is in and the smell of the lower floor is fowl. If you can get past this, the apartment is an oasis!

Everything about this was great. We were in Croatia for 3 weeks, about 10 days in Zadar. We stayed in the old town for part and here ( JUST outside oldtown - very easy 2 min walk) for 3-4 days. The apartment was great, with nice views and very comfortable. The owners were helpful and nice. I highly recommend giving this place (and Zadar) a visit - it was one of the best parts of our trip.

The location could not have been better. A very short walk to the Old Town. The apartment was clean and lovely and had everything we needed. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable apartment with every amenity necessary and more. Great views of marina and old town. Easy walk across a pedestrian bridge to the walled city. Supermarket directly under the building. As in previous reviews the building is rundown but the apartment is wonderful. My only criticism is the pillows are way too big to sleep on and there needs to be air conditioning or a fan in the bedrooms. We wished we had spent more time in Zadar.

Don't be fooled by first impressions. While the outside of the building needs painting, the apartment itself is stunning. It is light and airy with a balcony that looks out on the foot bridge to the old city section of Zadar. Marijana, the owner, could not have been more gracious and provided us with wonderful suggestions that enhanced our visit to Zadar and the surrounding area.

Place is beautiful, and location couldn't be better. Owners are friendly and incredibly helpful.

The entrance to the building and lift up to the 8th floor are not great but once you open the door it is the total wow factor. Beautiful apartment in excellent condition. Brilliant location for the old town. Free car parking is great although can be tricky to get a space. Once parked however there is no need to move. Plenty to do all within walking distance. Host very friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend to all.

We stayed in Zadar for 4 days in May 2017 and very much enjoyed the city and this apartment. The location is perfect, a two minute walk over the pedestrian bridge to the old town. Don't let the entrance in to the building fool you. Although it is run down looking, the apartment itself is beautiful with everything you will need. The view from the deck is also very nice. Marijana and Dino were very welcoming and helpful and are just a phone call away for any questions. Dino, thanks for recommending the Bon Apetite Restaurant, the food and sunset were spectacular!
