Lovely property, stunning location, soooo relaxing, and extremely attentive hosts, who were informative and friendly. The en-suite room was spotless, well furnished, bright, and cosy. The bed was humongous! and very comfortable. Breakfast was first class, an upmarket fry up! amongst other choices. Totally enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning soon.

Beautiful room in a beautiful location. Breakfast was excellent, the local sausages and the plum compote with Greek yoghurt and granola were particularly delicious. Room with en suite shower and we was large and airy with plenty of drawers and cupboard space. Shower robes a nice touch. TV, large sofa and dressing table. Lovely comfortable bed. Lynne and Stephen were great hosts.

We have been coming to Jex for around 15 years(which really says it all!) and it never disappoints. Rooms and breakfast are exceptional and Lynne and Stephen are such friendly hosts. Although a little inland it is situated around midway along the fabulous North Norfolk coast and so is a perfect location for visiting the numerous nature/bird reserves and the stunning beaches such as Holkham. The lovely market town of Holt is only a short drive away.

Everything was 100%. Best Bed & Breakfast place we have stayed in. Our hosts Stephen & Lynne were very friendly & accomodating, providing us with useful local information. The Farmhouse is in a lovely quiet village, with plenty of wildlife around, however, not remote, local places of interest are not far away. We stayed in The Parlour which was spotless, very comfortable, and everything that we needed was provided for & more. Breakfast was exceptional, cooked to perfection with plenty of choice. We certainly will be returning there soon, certainly would recommend.

We loved everything about the property itself. The icing on the cake would have been a good pub within walking distance, although of course nothing the hosts can do about this!

Stephen and Lynn were very welcoming and helpful. Everything was spotless. Jex Farm is in a quiet and peaceful location with a beautiful garden but close enough to local amenities and restaurants. We would recommend it and will be back!

If you want everything special and top quality for your B&B stay then this is the place to visit. Jex’s Farmhouse is set on a 34 acre farm. Your en-suite room is within a large converted barn with cleanliness second to none with hand sanitizers close to hand. If you like to sit outside in the evening or morning time you will watch the Barn Owls and Little Owls swooping around in the next field. They are more interested in the possibility of food than they are of you being so close to them. Talking of food, the three course breakfast will definitely keep you going till the evening because you will definitely clear the plate.

I have rated the broadband as indifferent, but that is because Jex is in a rural area and the hosts have no power to change dismal quality of UK broadband. I know that rural France, for example, can enjoy speeds in excess of those found in central London. Ever effort at Jex has been made to make the most of what BT Openreach choose to make available, including installing good quality equipment. But the experience of our stay overall has been superb. Lovely place, tasteful and marvellously hospitable. Wish we had seen the owls, but a young hare made up for that!

A beautiful house in a lovely peaceful area. We stayed in The Dairy which was lovely and comfortable with an amazing shower. Lovely base to visit the North Norfolk Coast. Lovely breakfast each morning. Steve and Lynne were exceptional hosts and take pride in their beautiful home. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again soon.

The room was very clean and well appointed. Shower room was clean with a large shower and lovely white towels. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from and quality food. The eggs were from the resident hens. The setting was beautiful with gardens and no noise whatsoever. We particularly liked the fact that we could sit outside our room and enjoy the evening sunshine. Would definitely recommend and would go again. Hosts were amazing.

Ideal location for exploring the North Norfolk coast. Spacious room with everything we needed for our two night stay.Despite COVID breakfast was excellent and delivered to the room at the agreed time. Lynne could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend Jex Farm B&B.

It was a super idea to deliver the breakfast in a basket ,as this meant we could enjoy breakfast in the sunshine in the comfort of our room without getting dressed!!! We like the outside fridge to keep milk etc in this was cute. The room was beautiful and the surrounding were SO quiet and peaceful perfect to de stress after a busy time at work. The lovely lady who owned the property was so friendly and kind . We loved the touch of having dressing gowns delivered to the room it felt like a spa break. We will be returning to this fab place.
