Le lac Chetac est un lac de 2400 acres situé dans le comté de Sawyer. Il a une profondeur maximale de 26 pieds. L'atterrissage en bateau public est à moins d'un mile de distance. Connu pour sa pêche de qualité supérieure - comprend le poisson pané, l'achigan à grande bouche, l'achigan à petite bouche, le grand brochet et le doré jaune. Vous pouvez pêcher directement du rivage ou du poisson de glace en hiver.
Une fois la glace au large du lac, au printemps, nous aurons 2 quais: 1 sur chaque rive de la péninsule. Le débarcadère public est à moins d'un mile par la route et vous pouvez le voir depuis notre rivage, à quelques centaines de mètres.
Location de pontons et de bateaux, juste en face du lac depuis notre maison au Fred Thomas Resort ou depuis le Ri-shell’s Echo Bay Resort.
Les sports nautiques sont n ° 1 sur la liste de tous. Notre lac a de la place pour tous les sports nautiques: natation, ski nautique, voile, ponton, canoë, pédalos, kayaks ou coureurs de vagues.
Près des sentiers récréatifs pour VTT / UTV, motoneige, vélo et randonnée. Le Tuscobia Trail est le principal sentier hors route / VTT. Courant sur environ 65 milles, il est bien balisé et facilement accessible. En outre, The Ice Age National Scenic Trail, un sentier pédestre de mille kilomètres entièrement situé dans le Wisconsin, est à proximité pour parcourir certaines des plus belles zones naturelles de l'État. This was our second time staying here & it’s absolutely perfect! The boys love fishing off the docks and the place is perfectly clean, stocked, spacious, & comfortable!

We stayed in this home two years ago and booked for the next year during our stay. Family circumstances kept us from making the trip but the owners were so very kind to let us book for the next year instead! They are so easy to deal with & their home was perfect for our growing adult family. Having two docks is nice so we can spread out and still have a place to tie up our boat. The launch is very close to the property and the comfort of the home made us want to stay longer than we could! Love it!

The cabin was fantastic! The view was great. The kids loved fishing off the two docks. The dock in the bay worked well for our two boats. All the rooms were setup well. We loved using the Blackstone grill outside, we were able to cook almost all of our meals on it. The lower level was nice with the big TV and games. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin we really enjoyed our stay!

This is a 3 bedroom cabin with an open loft (not 4 or 5 bedrooms as the listing states). It is clear the cabin has been used a great deal. The couches are saggy from the use and could probably be replaced (we had trouble getting out of the downstairs couch). And the beds are very uncomfortable/springy so if you have a bad back or hip pain I would not recommend this cabin. It is right on the lake with a steep hill incline to go back and forth from the deck. The road is not paved so bring your truck when it's been raining as your vehicle will get muddy. We were able to rent a pontoon one day so that was fun. And we caught lots of fish right off the dock. And depending on your phone service you won't get voicemail or be able to make calls from the property so plan ahead and make calls when in Birchwood. The kids had a blast for sure.

I have no issues to report with the house - a lovely 3 level with 3 full bathrooms, two major living areas including a large basement level with a foosball and pool table, a blackstone-style grill on the deck, and lovely outdoor space.
Important things to know for future visitors (which is called out in their pamphlet) - the freezer cannot be hooked up to the water line so make sure you bring your own ice. Also while there are some pantry staples they mostly are limited to some salt, black pepper, garlic salt, a half bag of flour, and a thing of vegetable oil. Most food places are 15+ minutes from the house, so just be intentional when planning your trips and you'll be fine! Trash does not get picked up so you will need to pack it out. Otherwise all rules are reasonable and no crazy cleaning requests.
House was stocked with plenty of towels, beds and couches were comfortable. Easy to have a good time with people you love in any weather. If there is ever cause to get together in that area again would absolutely stay here a second time.

This was our second stay in this lovely home, and it was a fantastic week! The house is well stocked with kitchen items, from a crock pot to coffee maker… we appreciate how well stocked it is. The location on the lake is prime, as you have two docks, and the sunset views are just stunning from the deck. Utilized the kayaks and caught a good amount of Northern right off the point!

House was great. Don`t let the kids foam ball go under cabinets unless you want to clean up a pile of dirt, grill was dirty. Called about fireplace not working and the grill got a song and dance story

Every thing was clean and up to date. All appliances work and are modern. Home looks fairly new. Having 2 docks was a big plus for us. Having no garbage service didnt seem like a big deal at first but 7 people make alot of trash fast. It was kind of a pain. We were also woken up twice buy gun shots. I live in rural Illinois and am used to hereing shooting out on the farm but these were odd times. First time was around 11pm and the second time was the next morning around 530am. Overall we'd definitely come back.

This property is exactly as described. Beautiful home and property fo us to enjoy for a long weekend with our family. Plenty of room, everyone had their own room, the 3 bathrooms were definitely a plus. Plenty of amenities that made you feel like you were home. The view of the lake was breathtaking. If you have older adults staying, the only issue we had would be the walk to the dock as it was hard for our parents; it is a very steep hill and uneven. Also, lots of stairs. It was no issue for everyone else. We would highly recommend this property, thank you for helping make it a memorable get together for us!

My family and I enjoyed this cabin very much! Everything was as pictured, and exceeded expectations. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of extra throw blankets for cuddling up for a movie on a rainy day. The docks were well maintained and the little table and chairs were perfect for hanging out on the dock. The cabin was well appointed and there was nothing we wished we had but didn’t. One mention is that the grill is actually a flat top. We loved it but would’ve planned a little differently if we had known.

This is our 2nd year staying here and we really enjoy it! We love having the 2 docks for our families boats. We used the basement for movie nights and the kayaks for some mom time away :). Plenty of yard for yard games and deck space for playing cards. It has worked well for our family so we booked next years vacation already.

There is never a dull time when family of all ages spend time together at the lake. We had an awesome time visiting, catching up, fishing, swimming, playing games, watching movies, walking, kayaking and gathering for meals and more….all together! And, we were so fortunate to have such a nice place to make those memories! We loved this place! It was so quiet & private, surrounded by nature. The lake itself was peaceful too, just the occasional fishing boats cruising by. We especially loved taking the kayaks & canoe out around the nearby islands. It was a very special place to get our family together for our annual family reunion.

The cabin and property were great. The lake was awesome with lots of water to explore- we rented a pontoon and loved our time on the lake and at the sand bars. We wished the area by the docks was better for swimming, but that isn’t always controllable. There is no beach or good shallow water for littles on the property, which was the only downside for our group. The two docks, kayaks, game room, fire pit, local pontoon rental, and ample yard space kept us all busy and entertained! Many reviews complained about the garage situation- though it is a bit of a hassle, it is doable. We would highly recommend this cabin for other groups/ families!

Enjoyed our stay. Every year we try to go somewhere different and had a hard decision to make not to come back we enjoyed it so much.
We had a very strong storm come and with the games downstairs had plenty to keep us busy.
Note to the next renters the bathroom shower cold and hot water supply lines are backwards. You don’t need to take a cold shower, but was 2 days later when we figured it out. Bathroom drain upstairs drained very slow. Was not a big deal we were on vacation and had plenty of time. I would recommend this for anyone with a boat the ability to dock on either point of the shore was huge for the storm that came through.

This was such a great property! Great views of the lake, a little private bon fire/dock area. Kids has a blast exploring the property. We also enjoyed the inside areas. Open concept kept it wonderful for spending time together, but the fun basement also gave some alternatives if we wanted to split up. We will definitely come back if they will have us.
