I liked the whole package.dinner And breakfast was in the bold across the road.the food was magnificent. All in all a fantastic time.

What a surprise - the perfect one stop spot for relaxing. A lovely room with a lovely shower; a very comfortable bed with plump pillows and a great mattress. A sports bar - an Irish bar - live singer - and a beautiful upmarket bar and restaurant next door - all part of the one complex. The Grand was the icing on the cake - great service lovely music and some great wine. Thank you very much !

Parking is a bit hit and miss but we found a space

The young lady called ELLE on reception was great sorting the heating for us .all was good except wen went for meal for my birthday in the restaurant and wat a spoiler .waited so long we nearly left .then wen got it it was cold .staff got order rong .never again.

The staff were amazing! The biggest room we have ever had in Southport . We had a couple of problems when we got in the room but reception staff soon sorted it out. Would Def go again!

When we arrived we was informed we had received a free upgrade, the receptionist that greeted us and checked us was lovely and very helpful. The room was upgraded to was lovely and clean.

We enjoyed our experience the only thing we was disappointed in was the bed as we didn’t have a good sleep. The two mattresses that was pushed to make a king size led to a dip in the middle of the bed which just wasn’t very comfortable at all. Also the noise from the bar below was very loud until late which I think was just to the room location as last time we stayed there was never an issue.

Quiet room

No hot water. Despite request in the morning still no hot water. Was told that an extra charge would be made if I waited for hot water and did not exit room before check out time. Ordered morning newspaper. Never arrived and not provided at reception.

Very modern and cosy

Loved it but the room view wasn’t the best, nowhere to put towels e.g a hook on the bathroom door, quality of soap provided not great, tv is a little small considering how far away from the bed.

I loved how beautiful the hotel was. It was so stylish so colourful and there is a little lounge on the first floor that I love to sit in and it was quite quiet. There is a great bar downstairs that had a pub vibe to it. Also one of the perks was being able to use the local leisure centre for free and that was wonderful.

The room door tended to need a little bit of a slam when closing which wasn't good as it meant making noise yourself so that couldn't be good for other guests and I could hear other doors slamming too. There's a lift in the building but only goes up to the first floor and not the second which is a pain if you have a large suitcase to carry up a large flight of stairs which is what I did. I didn't actually see the lift until after I carried up the suitcase up two flights of stairs. A couple of issues with the housekeeping although I didn't raise each one and they were very small. There were a few days when they didn't change my dirty glasses or cups which is annoying. And sometimes he didn't change the bins either or they would only change one. But because these were all little things I didn't complain about them. I wasn't a fan of the water pressure in the shower either. If I quite weak and it took me longer than it normally spend in the shower. One point I just had my shower at the leisure centre instead. It didn't feel like the shower is broken or anything it just wasn't good pressure. The room should have had more drawers to put clothes in. Most of my clothes just sat in piles at the bottom of the wardrobe which I thought was quite strange. It was an open wardrobe as well so they were fully on display. I don't know if the lighting in the room was motion detected or something but occasionally they will go off and come back on. So that was kind of annoying.

The room was modern, spotless and the facilities a high standard.

Everything, is really central, staff were very helpful friendly, reception staff went out of their way for my dietary needs (gluten and dairy free). We have stayed twice and both times it has been excellent
