Location was excellent, a few minutes walk into Bakewell. Parking space was challenging, but good that there was one. Owners have really made the most of an old building, high standard of spec.
House was really nice and well located, but - steep stairs in house, steep walk up the hill to the property. OK for us, but not for everyone.

Great location, cosy and comfortable with everything needed for a few days in the Dales. Handy private parking space immediately outside.

Lovely cottage, ideal location for exploring the peak district. Bakewell is just a 10 minute stroll down the road. Matlock is about 20 minute drive and Chesterfield was roughly 30 minutes drive.
The cottage is over three floors, stairs are a little steep. Great views from the Lounge window and even better from the bedroom. Great shower and comfy bed.
Just a few niggles - confusing information about the how to deal with food waste and recycling, sofa was uncomfortable, light bulb blown at top of stairs, hairs in drawer and shower, overall could have been cleaned a little better but this didn’t really spoil our stay.

It was very cold for June so it was good to be able to adjust the heating
I hadnt realised when I booked that it was on three floors. I am awaiting a hip replacement so climbing two flights of stairs was quite hard work

Lovely views across the valley and Bakewell . Cottage was clean and well laid out.
Not much, a charger in the bathroom for the usual toothbrushes and shavers etc would be good but otherwise everything was good.

Everything. Great location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Everything you need to cook basic meals and good amount of crockery etc.
Lovely touches like milk in the fridge, biscuits and a bottle of non alcoholic fizz.
The owner was really friendly and helpful.
Easy to retrieve key etc.

Perfect, everything you may need , sparkling clean and everywhere smelt fresh and lovely Inc bedding .

Hubby always likes to watch TV in bed with a cuppa , but didn't really bother us at all that there wasn't one , just for him would have been the icing on the cake ☺️

Stunning well presented 3 floor cottage …
much bigger than we were expecting with lovely views from the bedroom.

nothing .. it was great.
it is at the top of a hill and there are a lot of stairs to the bedroom so if you are unsure on your feet this may not be the property for you.

Having a parking space, quiet location, micro pub 5 mins walk and shops and other facilities and services not much further. House had all we needed for storage, cooking etc and was comfortable and homely.

Everything. The location, the cleanliness and the comfort. Everything catered for. And lovely touch of welcome biscuits and bottle of non-alcoholic wine.

Going up is steep and the staircase inside the house is steep as well.

The only downside to this property is it’s on a steep hill and has 3 sets of stairs inside but we loved it
