it was a good location, comfortable beds and staff were helpful

no soap was provided, communal shower and toilet were clean but again nothing there

pillow cases weren’t clean (burn mark& mold..) there was a KNIFE on the roof that I saw from our room. we wanted shut the Windows as we didn’t feel safe at night but. Window was broken, could not close them…

it’s in a great location

Us and everyone else who was staying there were locked out because the staff all went to Boardmasters and the front door was locked. They told us we wouldn’t need a key. When we arrived back at 1am we found others locked out and I had to literally climb through a window with a dog in the room to get in, then open the door. We had to keep getting up to let others in. The staff were lovely and friendly when we got there but completely ignored all our text messages including the ones we left telling them what happened. We have had to go via Booking.com for a refund. We paid £144 to stay in a place with a shared bathroom and had to break in to go to bed. The owners shouldn’t leave kids in charge of the entire place.

Everything including the outrageous price of a small cubicle room for £188 which was told was deliberately exploitative and due to the Boardmasters Festival on that day - we arrived at 3am and spent 10 minutes trying to open the lockbox to get our keys to get in - nobody answering the phone numbers they give you ... the next morning I took this up with Jenny the manager - she is a very nice person

Staff were excellent, friendly, accommodating. room well appointed and v clean, view was awesome. Place was quiet and calm. Shared bathrooms were as clean as possible considering people are coming off the beach and they can’t be cleaned after every single use. All guests seemed very respectful.

Despite the location and time of year it felt expensive. A small mirror in the room would be really useful. Unfortunately the bed frames squeaked loudly with every turn so sleep was disturbed. The advertised bar/cafe didn’t seem to be open?

Location was fine. But for what we paid we was very disappointed. The lodge was quite run down. No towels TVs didn't work, bathrooms where not clean

Good location close to the beach and the center

No information about the car park, problems with calling the service, no breakfast that can be purchased in the offer and there is no such option on the spot. Making a mistake on booking.com that you can pay at the property. As the entire deposit is charged in advance.

the bed was uncomfortable and the bath taps didn’t work/ broken had to fill up the bath using shower head attachment and the toilet seat was broken aswell

The facilities provided in the room were not to standard at all, a jacuzzi bath that had so many buttons and dials you needed to be a brain surgeon to work it out and once you had it took nearly an hour for the bath to fill and the shower really isn’t a shower it’s more of a hand held hose attached to the bath with no water pressure

The bar was never open, the bathroom was awful, the main door was never actually locked or closed so security is an issue here! Car park spaces were available our whole week but when I asked about the car park I was told to park in a public car park 800 yards away at a large cost for the week! No food available or offered even though breakfast is advertised….it’s peak season sort it out guess that’s what you get when a young girl runs the place!!!
