Een zo mooi zorgzaam gestelde omgeving hebben wij zelden gezien. Alles klopte aan dit verblijf.

Esperienza tutto sommato positiva! La camera è meravigliosa e ha tutto l'indispensabile, l'atmosfera è quella di una spa e l'arredamento ha uno stile greco. Spazio esterno dedicato alla colazione carino e rilassante. Staff molto gentile, accogliente e preparato. La struttura ha anche un parcheggio privato.

La colazione non è variegata ed abbondante come mi aspettavo, leggermente disorganizzata. In una suite la finestra in bagno non può mancare. Indisponibilità dello staff di persona dopo le 21:00 (abbiamo avuto un problema con la televisione alle 23 e non è stato possibile risolverlo).

Struttura fantastica! Le ragazze al check in eccezionali, hanno spiegato tutto nei minimi dettagli sia della struttura che del soggiorno a Tropea. La colazione eccellente, anche lì staff eccezionale! Siamo stati omaggiati di un up grade di camera gratuito del quale siamo stati molto felici. Ritorneremo sicuramente 😁

extremely charming little hotel, felt like a little escape. the landscaping gardens and pool are beautifully maintained. the rooms are simple but cute and sufficient for a beach holiday. the breakfast is all homemade and wonderful. staff are very friendly

the location is about a 5-8 minute drive into Tropea but it’s too far to walk exposed to the hot sun. the nearest beach is about the same, but there are serious elevation changes so the walk would be a steep downhill and uphill walk. it’s best to have a car otherwise you need to take a taxi everywhere.

Nothing- the only thing it is a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) to the city centre but if you have wifi super easy to get taxis!

We loved the hotel grounds and gardens. The room was spacious, airy and stylishly furnished with a fabulous large terrace overlooking the pool and, in the distance, the sea. Breakfast was great with lots of freshly baked pastries and served in the gardens. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved relaxing around the pool area. The hotel is small and so never feels busy.

It would have been nice to have had the option to eat at the property but the town is only a 15 minute walk away, with lots of options there, and the hotel was kind enough to recommended restaurants to try.

Everything was very clean; the staff was really nice; it has a homemade breakfast and the pool is incredible. The bed and the pillows are quite good.

Our family were fortunate enough to stay at this lovely resort for 5 days in early July. On the whole our experience was fantastic I would recommend to anyone who wants to relax outside the hustle and bustle of Tropea. Our room was spacious, with a good size bathroom. The room had a balcony over looking the attractive pool area and views out to the sea. The hotel grounds are meticulously landscaped with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. The pool was immaculate and clean with comfortable loungers and towels provided. There is a pool bar available and snacks accompanying the drinks. There is a small selection of toasted sandwiches / salad's available for lunch. Breakfast was a highlight with traditional Calabrian fare as well as the option for eggs / omelettes etc housed in a beautiful outdoor setting. The service was excellent - the property is family owned and you can see the care and attention & pride they put into their customers and work. We highly recommend this hotel for the serenity and relaxation, balanced by the access to the wonderful town of Tropea.

A couple of things to note that maybe useful - none of which affected our experience too negatively largely due to the boutique nature of the hotel. There's no laundry service, so if you need to wash clothes, bring some laundry powder! The resort is just outside Tropea and not practically walkable (no paths and quite hilly) - as we didn't have a car, we had to get a taxi to Tropea each night for dinner - dinner not available at the hotel (budget 5 Euro per person each way - no shuttle provided)

Il Borghetto is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you enter reception to be greeted by always-smiling Manuel, to the moment you check out, your stay here is sure to be amazing. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate, and so colourful and beautiful. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, and impeccably clean. It is a pleasure to walk into your room each time. The pool and poolside bar are so lovely, with an atmosphere of pure relaxation. And the breakfast - wow. Everything is home-made and prepared on-site by a team of lovely ladies and is delicious. The breakfast room is outdoors on a picturesque shaded terrace space in the garden and is the perfect way to start your day. It is not too far to walk to walk into the main part of the town, around 10-15 minutes. We really hope to come to Tropea again and Il Borghetto will be the only hotel we stay. Thank you Manuel and team, you are amazing!

Il Borghetto Creative is simply amazing! It far surpassed my expectation, the photos don't do the beauty of this hotel justice. The boutique hotel is a family run business and you feel that in the best way possible. The customer service, attention to detail and delicious food make you feel so at home that we did not want to leave. They also have one of the nicest pools I've seen. We loved that it was quiet and secluded. However, I would recommend renting a car for your stay if you wish to visit the beach town for dinners in the evening, as it would be a far walk.

Everything! This is one of the loveliest boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. The pictures, website etc do not do this property justice. Our room was lovely, exceptionally clean, the bathroom was stunning, had everything you could need. Very comfortable and would happily come here again. The hotel is relatively new, but built around the former home of the owner and his family’s grandmother. This is the whole vibe - family owned property, family run, great Italian family cooked breakfast. The grounds are simply beautiful, the “green” ethos to be celebrated. Please come and see for yourself!

We loved the grounds, the pool, the breakfast and above all, the staff. Manuel and the extended family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can’t wait to return!

Some of the rooms were small and they weren’t perfect when we got there, but Manuel and his brothers were great hosts and did a great job in sorting our problems out. Breakfast can be better, but was good! Overall great experience. Would recommend taking the suites!

It is very quite where we could really relax. The breakfast was superb, and we had a good selection of homemade food. The pool, the external and interior design was unique. The staff especially the owners were amazing, they really know how to please and serve their clients. It is also super afe with private parking.Well done.

One of the best resorts we've ever been to! It was like a little paradise. The Stuff was super friendly and helpful if you had any questions. The atmosphere was perfect and calm. After they stay in Il borghetto you'll feel so much better. I wish everyone this experience.

What a great hotel, family run and you can see that. Manuel and family were perhaps the best hosts I've experienced. Always on and and happy to help with anything. Hotel grounds are immaculate, breakfast was local and varied and of course tasty. Great place to stay.

It's important to note it is 30min walk from tropea centre, 10 euros on a tuk tuk (all shared by manuel on check on). This wasn't a problem for us but it could be for others if you don't consider the location properly. Not a negative just a consideration

This wonderful small resort in Tropea is highly recommended. It is only a very short drive into the centre. Our room was beautiful and new, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would come back any time.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Il Borghetto. The staff were lovely and attentive, the grounds are immaculate gardens, the room was beyond perfect. We will definitely be coming back in the future. This place is a total paradise.

Wonderful 7 nights spent here in a comfortable clean room. Traditional sweet breakfast with added local options as well. The pool area is just delightful, overlooking the sea with views to Stromboli. Spectacular sunsets. Nothing was too much trouble from Manuel and his staff.
