Cette petite maison confortable avec une chambre est située à moins de 100 mètres des boutiques, cafés et salles de concert Katoomba, avec des galeries d’art et la Varuna Writers House à proximité. Sentiers pédestres avec des paysages magnifiques à 15 minutes. Pas besoin de voiture, il suffit de monter à bord du train Blue Mountains à la gare centrale et à partir de la gare de Katoomba, il ne vous faudra que 500 m pour descendre la colline. Parfait pour les musiciens, les écrivains, les randonneurs ou pour une escapade en couple. Trop facile!

Great location in katoomba, short walk to the supermarket and main st. Easy checkin and cute little one bedroom, really convenient to everything and they provide a huge umbrella to use which is essential on blue mountains drizzly days.

A cute little cottage in a very convenient location. Hugo is a great communicator and offered early check in and late check out which we didn't use but was much appreciated. Close enough to walk to the train (700m) if you don't mind a little hill on the way. Woolies is across the road and the main street a few metres walk where you can catch the local bus or the hopper bus. The sunroom was a little noisy as it is close to the street and the path to the bins was slippery in the rain so take care. Loved the easy keyless lock. The weather ranged from 16C to over 30C and the house was comfortable in all temperatures. Would stay again and recommend to others.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the host is very pleasant and accommodating. The location is acceptable if you are staying for a night / passing through but it is not desirable as a holiday destination.

Don’t judge a book by its cover
The outside looks a bit dilapidated but looks can be deceiving. Inside is a mixture of old and new. Very comfortable, clean & cosy!
Great for couples or with maybe 1 child. Close to everything and good value for money. The hosts communication is great and the incidentals like free coffee, tea and extra are really thoughtful. We would definitely stay again if we go to the mountains again.

Katoomba gem return
An ideal place to decompress or base to explore. I'm a return stayer and always appreciate this place's homeliness (coffee plunger with coffee snd tea always a welcome sight), cleanliness and proximity to everything the mountains has to offer. Etter than a hotel or motel eoom! And thanks for the unexpected and welcome offer of a late checkout. Great communication.

Loved it!
My partner and I had a really nice time. The property is clean, cosy and had everything we needed. There’s lots of parking nearby and It’s so close to the shops with lots of cute cafes close by.
It rained the whole weekend however we were warm inside and loved the access to Netflix as well!

Great location and good value
This small property is ideal for two and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the provision of pantry items and shower supplies. It is in an ideal location close to cafes, restaurants and shops with supermarket close by.
One negative was that we found the steep front steps difficult and felt we needed a railing.

Convenient and tidy.
Perfect cottage for weekend for a couple. Never used the car as conveniently located to shops, restaurants and walks. Whilst it didn’t look much from the street, inside was spacious, clean and warm. Bed a little hard but kitchen well equipped.

The perfect weekend
Amazing location right in the heart of Katoomba main street. The house is so beautifully well-thought with everything you need for a cosy stay including huge gas heater and electric blankets. Such groovy decor and a fantastic living space to hang out 10/10 would recommend.

Clean, cosy and close to everything.
I had a very pleasant three night winter stay in 'The Yellow Door' cottage. The comfortable lounge was efficiently warmed by the gas heater, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and the bed very comfortable.
I greatly appreciated the central position, with shopping just across the road and scenic sites quite close by car or bus. The host, Hugo, was most obliging. I would like to stay here again.

Weekend in the Blue Mountains
We were in Katoomba for the Blue Mountains Ukelele Festival, and this place was perfect. Pleasant decor, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Close to supermarket and shops, and our uke venue. We hope to reurn next year.

Through the yellow door
The location down the street from grocery and liquor stores was ideal for dining in and enjoying back garden deck. It was an easy walk to the city center restaurants and also the trail heads. The comfy couches were perfect for enjoying DVD movies along with the great wifi. Local hiking trail maps for the Blue Mountains were provided. A perfect quiet retreat in town.

Lovely place to stay!
Yellow Door is a cute cottage in a brilliant location! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Communication with Hugo and Pamela was very easy, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here!

Its a lovely neat warm cosy home! We really enjoyed staying here... everything was clean, neat and tidy! We loved it being so close to shops and restaurants all in walking distance, also loved how hugo and pamela put together a folder for everything you need to know about the place and where good food and shops are! Anyone little for a nice little cosy home getaway should stay here!

Good location, reasonable amenity, reasonable price.
A homely cottage with reasonable amenity. Close to the Main Street, shopping centre and restraunts all a short stroll away. On street parking with steps up the the front door so not great access for the elderly or disabled. Could do with a small cloths hoist/rack for drying of hand washed cloths. Door lock is complicated requiring 3/4 of a page explanation in the guest rules book on how to use it, a key and lock box with code is really what is needed here. All in all a reasonable stay at a reasonable price.

We love the Yellow Door!
This is our second time at the YD and it won't be our last. Everything we needed for our stay was found in this well-appointed, very comfortable home. It's close to everything which makes it the perfect spot if you travel up to the Blue Mountains by public transport.

Beautiful and cosy, quiet, great location.
We loved our stay, the little house is just perfect, warm, cosy, quiet and clean. It was the ideal place to come back to after a day's walking or sight seeing, also ideal for a very lazy Sunday watching movies. The location is just great 2 minute walk to the supermarket maybe 4 to the main street which is full of eateries and shops.The owners Pam and Hugo are contactable for questions or any problems you may have which I find very reassuring. We spent 8 nights at The Yellow Door and would recommend without hesitation. We will be returning.

Cosy stay in the heart of Katoomba
We had a very nice stay here in Hugo's house. There was everything you needed and the giant heater was really needed and perfect - it is cold up there (at least in August!)
Location is perfect - short walk/drive to everywhere you want to go in the area.

Great property in a great location!
Very cosy and comfortable. Very good facilities. No dining room but for the reason we booked (Blue Mountains Elvis Festival) we didn't need one as we were out at venues all day and half the night lol. The owner is very obliging. The only criticism I have is that we could have done with more towels but that is easily fixed by bringing our own.

Good location, great spot
Very welcoming hosts and quaint accommodation in a good location to explore Katoomba. Our contact with our hosts were prior to our stay and always pleasant and professional. When we arrived our accommodation was all ours, well looked after and included thoughtful touches throughout. Nice stay and lovely holiday.
