Nos cabines sont parfaites pour une escapade en couple ou une sortie en famille. Notre cabine peut accueillir 6 personnes, ce qui inclut 1 lit queen dans la chambre, 1 lit queen dans le grenier et 2 lits jumeaux.
Nos cabines sont petites mais puissantes! Si vous avez tous eu envie d'essayer une petite maison, c'est assez proche! Nos cabines mesurent 560 pieds carrés et sont bien aménagées et conçues pour se sentir beaucoup plus grandes qu’elles ne le sont. C'est pourquoi ils sont considérés comme les "mini-cabines modernes" les plus luxueux du sud de l'Illinois.
Nous avons une excellente réception téléphonique pour les utilisateurs d’AT & T et Verizon. (toutes les autres compagnies de téléphone n’ont pas été vérifiées). Nous proposons des SmartTV avec le forfait de base DirectTV et le WIFI gratuit pour tous les invités.
Nos cabines sont les animaux de compagnie. Veuillez noter que tous les animaux domestiques doivent être signalés lors de la réservation. Il y a une taxe unique de 30 $ par animal. We travelled 12 hours and booked for 8 days. Arrived at 2:00am and loved the look/feel of the place. Unpacked quick and jumped into bed. The mattress was ok but older and my wife and I kept settling into the middle. Woke the next morning talked with them about it. Mike checked things out while my wife and I hiked for the day. We came back to a brand new box spring and mattress. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere and the service.

We have a cabin in UP Michigan and love the peaceful atmosphere you get so this was a great option for us. Could use a bit more towel bars and hooks and small platforms when you undress in bedrooms but otherwise was fully functional with all conveniences you need.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights on our travels. The mini-cabin is perfect for a coupe or small family. Easy to get to Marion and Crab Orchard is a must see destination. The pond on the property is a nice addition and brings in so many birds and deer.

What a great way to spend time away. Close enough to wineries and Fern Clyffe State Park. The Teal Door cabin was so comfortable. The campfire was very nice too. Our host was amazing and I will be coming back.

Very clean with nearly everything one would need. Free firewood for our evening fires was an unexpected plus. The owners were super friendly.
My only complaint would be the proximity to a soybean field. We happened to show up when they were being harvested (late Sept) and the harvesting went on until 8:00 in the evening. This created a lot of dust. If you have allergies or COPD, you may want to inquire.
There is no way the owners could have known when the field was being harvested and was very apologetic. It only went on for the one evening.
Everything else was very nice and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Oh yes, the chickens are quite friendly!

Our stay was short and sweet. We came to visit SIU, arrived late & were up & out early the next morning but the place was perfect for our needs. Next time we’ll stay longer. Thanks for hosting us!

Relaxation at it's best! This is a must do. We would definitely return. The mattress was a little uncomfortable and our only issue but, everybody is different. We have told all of our family and friends this is a must do.

Beautiful and quiet. You would never know there are two other rental properties close by. They allow dogs too! My partner and I had the most relaxing evening using the paddle boards on the little lake in back. This place is a gem and I will provide my highest recommendation to others looking for a weekend get-a-way!

Wife and I fell in love with this cabin. Spacious, quiet, very modern, and full of little details. Close to plenty of Shawnee National Forest attractions/trails and Lake of Egypt. Marion is just a 10 - 15 min drive to plenty of food options. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I enjoyed staying at the Teal Door Cabin! The hosts provided a lot of basic necessary items so we hardly had to bring much "house" stuff at all! Everything was neat, clean, very organized, and nicely labeled. We noticed on our first night the fridge wasn't closing properly but it wasn't an issue for us since we didn't need to use the fridge. We enjoyed having the little lake nearby, it was very peaceful and we cannot wait to come back and bring others with us!

Great location and stay, very peaceful and nice facility. Do have some positive condtructive suggestions that I trust youcwould welcome:
1.) hardly take a shower due to low water flow, and 2.) mattress needs replaced as it sounds and feels like it is stuffed with papers!

The tiny house had everything we needed for a fun getaway weekend in Southern Illinois. The setting on the pond is beautiful for watching sunsets by the campfire. Communication with the hostess and the check in process were great. The location feels remote but close to everything you might need - food, hiking, wineries, groceries. Little touches like games, firewood and books were also a huge plus. Loved being able to take our dogs, too!

We had a beautiful and amazing stay at the micro-cabin in Marion. We loved the area and felt like the cabin was a home away from home. We would have stayed longer if we could have! We will definitely be back!

Exploring around SIU
The Teal Door Cabin did not disappoint. Such a cute, well decorated and super clean micro-cabin! Full size kitchen and bathroom with everything you need. Being able to bring our dogs was the icing on the cake! Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the pond, so relaxing. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a glamping experience.

this cabin had everything i could possibly need or want for a little getaway just for me. it was super comfy and in a great location. the host was attentive and check in was a breeze. keep in mind that two of the cabins are kind of close together and it's a super quiet space.

Perfect getaway!

Super clean, adorable cabin! Close to the lake and shopping. We visited Lake of Egypt and did some shopping at local antique shops and boutiques.

Quiet and convenient area.
Nice quiet location very close to winery trail and Shawnee forest. My only real comment is the furniture is not really convenient for people of shorter stature. All chairs including deck chairs were bar height.

Wonderful weekend getaway!
This was the perfect little getaway for us. Love the pet friendly option. The pond view from the cabin is so beautiful and peaceful. Great location with just a short drive to lots of food options, wineries, and hiking. Allison was a great host and answered all of our questions so promptly! Definitely recommend the Teal Door Cabin to others!

Only needed a place for the night as we made our way back to Texas, but couldn't ask for a better place. Only wish it was closer so we could go back for a longer stay!
