We, four female friends, have just spent a wonderful 4 days at this location. Could not say enough about it. From the very first entry, the accomodation was superb. The apartment is bright, airy, well stocked and in a perfect location to discover all that Carcassone has to offer. It is so central. Would highly recommend!

Great location - near all the shops and town area. Comfortable good sized apartment. About a 1km walk to the castle.

There is only an air conditioner in the living room and the bedrooms didn’t get cooled from it and they were very hot so left the windows open, and it was quite noisy in the morning.

The location was brilliant. Situated in the old town and near the plaza for food and drinks. It was easy to find the accommodation and access it. The accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Location was great. Plenty of light and space. Lots of storage and nice decor. Lift was very convenient.

Toilet smelled bad and not enough toilet paper for more than a day. Only one coffee pod and not easy to buy more. Beds very small. No proper wine glasses.

Decor beautiful and apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Excellent central location. Lift to top floor very helpful! Kind hosts and great communication

Spacious property with lots of room. Cool patio, everything you need in the kitchen. The beds and linen were comfortable and fresh. the location was exceptional, right in the middle of town and a stones throw from all restaurants. About a 20 minute walk from the old town. the host was communicative and friendly.

We had a problem latching the door between the living room and the patio and had to prop it shut.

The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable.

At night, the noise from the street interfered, but this is not the fault of the owners.

It was in the center of the city. Two separate bedrooms.

Host wasn't very helpful with where we could leave our bags on day of departure (Checkout was at 11am, our bus left at 7pm). Host initially suggested we leave it outside the apartment (there wasn't a locker or anything) and later admitted that wouldn't be very safe.

The location is perfect, beds are comfortable and the water is hot. The price is great and the hostess is wonderful.

This is an old building,but Carcassonne is old. It's very basic no broom, and no basics like salt and pepper. Only 1 dish towel, and no dish drying rack.

Location was fantastic, 1 minute from Place Carnot.

The sofa was uncomfortable to relax on.

The property was clean, tidy, well equipped and on a brilliant location from the train station.

We would have liked to have locked the bathroom and toilet doors but there were no keys. (minor problem)

very basic furniture, no hand soap, no hand towels, the bed had no headboard and was a wood framed basic bed. the toilet is in the lounge and as the apartment is meant for four people that could be very inconvenient. single use plastic shower gel.

location was excellent. it was right in the heart of the main area of Carcassonne, walking distance to everything.

The street cleaners made noise but they also made a very clean environment in which to walk.

The lounge couch/futon was not very comfortable if you wanted to sit for a while watching tv or planning the day’s activities. People need to be prepared to buy all paper products (paper towels, napkins, tissues, toilet paper ) as well as dish washer tabs, if you want to use the dishwasher. We replaced the very worn kitchen sponge. No dish towels or oven mitts found. We were only given one towel each for a weeks bathing. ** Oh yes, the air conditioner worked great for the lounge/kitchen/diner room however, it took three nights before we could sleep under the duvet! We asked the building owner (associated with the stores adjacent to the apartment for a bedroom fan but were told to contact booking.com.🤨 We strongly suggest that the owners of this apartment buy fans for the summer weather. Opening the bedroom windows for relief was not an option due to the outside heat (102 F. one day) and street noises durning evening hours. The patio of the apartment was very pleasantly decorated but again unusable during our stay due to the unventilated heat. The patio has a plexiglass ceiling so heated up during the day. An exterior door to a very small spot off of the patio opened on it’s own, allowing outside air to come in the patio but could be held with a chair against it. Due to this problem, the patio floor needing mopping. The biggest issues we had was that the sewage smell coming from the toilet. It smelled badly and must have a stench pipe problem. The outside noise on the street interrupted sleep as there was a street bench below the bedroom windows where people liked to congregate and the street cleaner carts were very noisy most mornings at 5:45 a.m.! The people letting the flat above could be heard walking and moving through the ceiling which was surprising considering that it was a very old , thick walled, building. * We make these comments in hopes of improvements for owner.

This is a great apartment - it's a bit different from the usual - with a nice reading space / room and nice room features. The apartment is a good size for a family of four and it was clean. The location was good for walking and reaching key destinations in the area.

the location. it was downtown but on a pedestrian street. cars were not allowed so you had to drop your suitcases off at the beginning of the street and carry them down to the entrance of the apartment building there was parking nearby but very difficult to get a space. also to pay for the parking because of this we would not recommend staying here. be aware of these inconveniences

Clean, well presented, comfortable apartment right in the heart of the Bastide, Bars and restaurants nearby. Easy walking to the canal du midi, train station and cité. All necessary information for key collection provided up front by the owners.

One bed was a bit creaky - a very minor negative!
