Great place to spend a long family weekend (far too short :-). Host Maria is great, giving very useful tips and making us feel at home right away. Conveniently located at walking distance from the Artxanda cablecar that brings you down to the centre in a matter of minutes. Nice big garden and a covered terrace with a barbecue, great to hang out in with the whole group ( party of 9). Would love to come back some other time!

The private road to the house is very steep, something to take into account if you're traveling with older people and you don't have your own wheels.

We, a group of seven, stayed three nights in this beautiful gorgeous villa on the heights close to Bilbao. The fun part was the ride with the funicular that in 3 minutes takes you to the heart of the city (10 minutes walk from the villa). We chilled in the quiet atmosphere of the villa each day after sightseeing in the city. Maria is so kind and helpful and even gave us a ride to the supermarket on the first day. I definitely recommend this place and would like to come back again!

Poor kitchen.

the property is gorgeous. A perfect getaway for young families. Enough rooms for 2 families traveling together. very well equipped - especially the kitchen and extra facilities for kids such as a splash pad, hanging chairs for babies, … only a 10 minute walk away from the funicular that will bring you right to the city center of Bilbao. our host Maria is incredible and gave us tons of tips and recommendations in the area. she’s very responsive and was always very helpful.

Very quiet and peaceful location on a hill above Bilbao. Easy enough to travel up and down on the funicular which takes you down to the river. The owner, Maria, was incredibly helpful.

Not a problem for us, but some might find the walk from the property to the funicular a bit steep in places.

What an amazing house! We were a large group and there was so much space. The garden was absolutely stunning and felt very private and safe. 10 minutes into the centre of Bilbao was ideal and only a short walk from the Funicular. Maria was an outstanding host who went out of her way to help us organise the trip (months before we arrived!) and was on hand to meet us at the property, as well as helping us with things during our stay.

Nothing, couldn’t fault it.

Huge amounts of space and we were 8 people! Also 3 bathrooms with toilet each. Lovely outdoor space with lawn, deck chairs, a barbeque and a big table with enough seating for all of us. One room has en-suite bathroom and a large terrace. The landlady Maria was very friendly and super-helpful! We had a fantastic time
