not small child proof... the child could fall off the bed and land on very hard floor. the second bed mattress was very thin and hard. We had a small child with a pram, but the staff still put us on the second floor without too much assistance with the luggage.

Hotel overall has a mixed design between old China style and new world features. Rooms are big and comfy.

Breakfast could be a little more polished in terms of details to the food....ex. Toaster wasn’t really heating the bread as it should, fruits were placed on an ice plate, even tough it was a cold winter morning.... Not many English speaking staffs.

Very modern hotel with huge rooms. Staff just incredible. Only point is distance from anywhere. If staying for somewhere near the Pudong International Airport just brilliant but to get to Shanghai City is not cheap.

No ATM or foreign exchange facilities

This hotel is absolutely awesome. Even hotels in Shanghai 2-3 times more expensive than this one cannot provide this comfort level. We had an early departure the next morning. We often fly and often have to stay in hotels near the airport. We were probably in 10 different hotels. This hotel is incredible compared to everyone else in this area. The design of wood, brick, and concrete is very well thought out and impressive. If such a hotel were in some kind of resort, I would certainly choose it for a vacation. The rooms have a balcony. Outside is very quiet. Despite the fact that the outside temperature was only a couple of degrees, it was not necessary to switch on the air conditioner for the night. Suddenly it turned out that they provide a shuttle to the airport several times a day. In addition, the distance to the airport by Chinese standards is just scanty. Breakfast, even though most Chinese, included coffee (which is a rarity in China), moreover from coffee beans, but not instant. There was also smoked salmon and cheese (which is even rarer in China).

All the bread for breakfast was sweet. For dinner, the kitchen closes very early. After 8, there is no one in the dining room and the employees clean up while you eat. I do not advise ordering expensive extravagant dishes, as they are rarely cooked and as a result, their level is not worth it.
