We rented the property on November 25-30, this house was amazing! The pool was fabulous, Lupita was so helpful, we went to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday and she was able to get me a decorator and ordered me a cake! She also reserved us a boat for the day as well as getting us a golf cart! I highly recommend CaSa del Vaquero house!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time at this wonderful property. We loved the quiet location & each having our own bedroom and bathroom. Concierge was quick to respond and all of our excursions were amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!

Went to a wedding in Cancun and decided to extend the trip. Lovely home, great pool, walked to the park and beaches, contacted by property management prior to arrival with many additional offerings.

This is what we heard all week from our 18-23 year old ‘kids’! We have visited Isla before, but this time we brought 6 children, nieces and nephews! We had a BLAST! The house is perfect!!! Comfortable, clean, beautiful!!! The ONLY downside I can even think of is that the living room furniture is not comfortable. We truly didn’t spend much time there, so no big deal!! The pool area????? OH MY!!! Thanks y’all!!! We made forever memories for sure!!!

Everything was perfect. Loved the location and absolutely loved this home. Everything is clean and very nicely decorated. The property managers did an amazing job communicating how to get in and they arrived there to show us around. The house is a 10 out of 10!! The pool is amazing and the palapa made it perfect. We spent most of our time outside. When it got too hot in the sun, we sat at the table and we were able to enjoy the shaded area. The view from the top of the house in the evening is unbelievably beautiful. Perfect view of the sunset every night. We will definitely be back and I would want to stay at this property ....I would plan my vacation around its availability!

We are leaving to head home and I just wanted to write this while it is fresh in my mind. The house was beyond perfect for our family of 4 with the living space facing the pool. We loved the secure gated yard as this was our first stay on the island. It never felt unsafe but the added security allowed me to sleep peacefully. The bedrooms have amazing views on the second floor. No matter what time of day the rooftop space was inviting and had amazing ocean breezes, as well as, wonderful shade on the couch under the palapa. We could have enjoyed all of our time in this house and it would have been a spectacular vacation. Of course, we left the home to have many adventures to North beach, Hidalgo and exploring as much of the island as time would allow. We will definitely be back to the island and specifically this house. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Also, Capi management was very helpful when we had questions too. It was reassuring that they met us at the house and gave us a tour when we arrived. Just perfection.

My family and I loved this house. It was family friendly with a lot of space . I loved being on this part of the island. It is quiet and peaceful but still has so much to do like beach clubs , eating at the joint, and being close to the scenic views at the tip of the island. The rooms were perfect for everyone. The beds were very comfortable. The entire environment of the house was warm, clean and very family friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this amazing home for 8 days around New Years 2019. We had never been to Isla Mujeres before and didn't really know what to expect. This house was perfect for our first trip. Spacious rooms, well apportioned kitchen, wonderful pool and amazing 360 views from the rooftop. It is located on the quieter south side of the island, but easy to get to by golf cart from town and located near many great restaurants. We definitely hope to return in the near future!

We loved this place. It was quiet at night and we slept well. The pool area is perfect, kitchen was big, and we kept the windows open all day to let the breeze through. Beach clubs are close, lots of nature, feels away from everything but accessible.

Casa del Vaquero, formerly Estrella del Mar, served us very well on our first visit to Isla Mujeres. The house was spacious and clean and well equipped with all we needed for our stay. The brand new 4th bedroom/bath on the main floor is beautiful although we did not use it because there was no closet or wardrobe to store our clothing. The other three bedrooms were very nice. We used the ceiling fans most of the time and the rooms were also equipped with AC. The bathrooms were also very nice except there is very limited counter space and no towel racks. The rooftop patio with palapa was our favorite spot as we had 360 degree views. We could sit up there and enjoy the view while listening to the live music coming from The Joint Restaurant and Bar next door. The home also offered a wonderful refreshing unheated pool with 4 poolside lounge chairs and outdoor table/4 chairs. Although the home is located on the "quieter" end of the island, it is not all that quiet. There is the constant sound of golf carts, mopeds, and taxis making their way to and from the south end of the island and the Garrafon across the street. This didn't bother us all that much but for some people it might annoy. The live music coming from The Joint ended at 8:00 every evening. A word about Capi's, the property management company overseeing the house.....they were great to deal with, immediate communications with them. If we had any real problems, which we didn't, we felt assured Capi's would respond in a timely manner. Overall, our stay at Casa del Vaquero was wonderful and we would definitely rent again!

This was our second Isla Mujeres vacation at this home, now with new owners. It's a perfect vacation home for a family of 5-6. Susan & Marcela are excellent hosts who welcomed us and made us feel at home with chilled beverages & snacks, which were right-on-time after our long travel day. The pool was crystal clear upon our arrival, but maybe just a bit chilly after a couple cloudy days. We love the private pool and patio furniture for sunbathing, and the rooftop views are amazing. The kitchen was fully furnished and equipped with everything we needed, including a large bag of ice and drinking water. We love this private location near Punta Sur, away from the Playa Norte hotels, busy streets & beaches. Thank you again for a wonderful family vacation!!
