One upgrade would be to have an Ethernet port accessible in each unit for access to the Internet via plug instead of just WiFi. Most units have Ethernet ports in the back of the Cable/TV/WiFi router. Apparently, my unit shares a connection with the adjoined unit and the Cable box is in their unit. So, I could not plug into an Ethernet port.

We watched a rabbit there everyday as well as sparrows, catbirds, katydids and toads. My kids loved it!
The unit has an outdoor shower, a waterhose and access to shared laundry under the house. I wasn't expecting those extras!! It's an awesome space. The decks could use some maintenance. Watch out for splinters and nails. Overall, we loved our stay and we'll be coming back next year!

Great place for 3 nights. Short walk to the beach and multiple places to eat in Buxton. Short drive to the point and Frisco. We will absolutely be back next yr.

Water pressure completely sucked. There were no drain covers for the baths, so the kids had to take showers. You can hear everything the neighbors on the other side of duplex do. Don't let this review discourage you. It was a good place to stay and just a small walk to beach! Plenty of restaurants and things to do within walking distance too!!

Unit was accurately portrayed in listing. It could have been a bit cleaner at check in, but wasn’t bad. It’s an older unit, in an older neighborhood but is close to the beach and everything you need.

Close to the church and reception hall. The short few minute walk to the water and sand was great! The cottage was what we were looking for our 3 night stay, updated and clean, we would definitely come back to this same place again in the future

Windows had no screens in them, the deck had broken railings and I had a 3 yr old so that was very scary. The only problem we had was the fitted queen sheet would not fit our bed so we just used the flat sheet and the flat sheet from the double set which worked out just fine. The house did have a lot of draft coming from the windows in the living room which made us have to turn the heat up more but other than that, our stay was pleasant and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone but suggest they go in season because a lot of the restaurants are seasonal. Thanks for a great stay!!

Very clean and perfect size for 2 couples to share the duplex — FYI anyone booking the cottages are duplex’s. We liked that there was a community pool/hot tub. It was also a great location and walking distance to several stores, restaurants, gas stations, and the beach. The house also provided linens (towels and sheets) plus paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dish washer soap and toiletries like shampoo conditioner soap etc. Would highly recommend!

I asked to check out on a Saturday when I made the reservations. They had check outbound Friday. On Friday we were on Okracoke and they called and wanted to know why our stuff was still there. Anyway..they moved our stuff to another cottage for the night and gave us a great discount. We will be going back and we recommend them.
