This was a great house for our family of 6! The home was comfortable, nice and clean, the pool was refreshing. Check in was a breeze. Would recommend to others and would stay again!

We stayed at the end of May for the birthdays of the 6 and 15 year old granddaughters. My 8 yr old grandson and 3 adult parwnts stayed too. Everyone loved the pool! They got out to eat and right back in. Perfect temperature, perfect weather for swimming. Lots of stuff for the 15 year old to do in Chico. Nice little mall and bowling alley with arcade. Good food at Qucker’s grill. It was a little warm for Bidwell Park this trip, but we were there to swim. Beds were very comfortable! Michael is a super nice and responsive host. My only suggestion would be a pull out couch bed for kids in living room. This was a really nice place to take a vacay for the entire family!

House was clean and well appointed. Easy check in. Quiet neighborhood about 5 mins to downtown Chico and campus! No BBQ which would be a good add.

Their property is close to downtown, but tucked away in a great quiet safe neighborhood and has the greatest yard complete with a pool. House was clean, and plenty of space for our group. The host was very responsive and super helpful & kind. Would definitely come back and recommend this rental - perfect Chico house :-)

I came here with my son, nieces, and sister. This house was perfect. Very clean and in the right spot for us. It was about a 8-10 minute drive to all of restaurants & retail stores. Definitely hope to come back to this beautiful house!

If you are going to stay in Chico this place is an excellent choice. When we arrived and opened the door we were very happy with all this home had to offer. Very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms and beds were very nice. It was just the two of us staying, but the house would easily accommodate 6 adults. Would also be a fun place to bring the kids, with the pool, extra space in the garage, and the big back yard.

We needed a place to stay for visiting Chico State for the choose Chico weekend. This provided a clean, close, and affordable option for the weekend. Only wish it was warmer so we could enjoy the pool.

We used the house as a place to rest after enjoying Sierra Nevada Brewery and the local Restaurants without having to worry about driving the hour plus home. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. We would recommend it to others.

We are 5 ladies who love to cook and be together. We have stayed in many a VRBO’s and this by far was the most disappointing. No BBQ, two burners did not light on the stove top, oven did not work well, no dish towels, not enough glasses, terrible knives (not sharp), pool was stained and chipped, dusty and dirty under the beds, no recycling options, no working light switches in the garage, toilets low in height. We wanted to arrive early if the home was available and the owner wanted to charge for early arrival. After I complained the owner refunded the fee. The check out instructions said we could tip the cleaners!!! (Wow really as we are charged a cleaning fee). Sorry for this review but this VRBO needs some tender loving care in so many ways.

This house was perfect for not only kids but adults too. It was super clean, and the beds were comfortable. The best part was the converted garage into another living space. The kids had a blast knowing they have their own space, and their toys were contained! The house is located on a busy street, however, once inside and in the backyard, we didn’t hear any traffic noise. The pool was perfect for afternoon/night swims. The pool does need to be resurfaced and slightly rough on the feet. However, the temp of the pool was refreshing. One thing I wish the house had was a propane BBQ. We were ready to grill and could not figure out the electric grill as it never got hot enough. Thomas was so easy to communicate with. We will for sure stay here again if our travels lead us back to Chico.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. We spent most our time in the pool and back yard. Hoping to return next summer.

This property was perfect for 2 family's with 3 kids 6 and under. Loved there was a gate so the kids could play outside without being able to get into the pool. Backyard is much bigger then it looks in pictures. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and then some, rooms clean, bathrooms clean and I loved there wasn't a bunch of decorational stuff everywhere so I didn't have to worry about the kids breaking anything. Can't wait to go back.

We are regular VRBO renters. The house was very clean. We have a 12 year old and he absolutely loved his "man cave" which was a bonus room in the garage. He brought his gaming system, and he hung out in the garage most of the time. The backyard is huge and the water temperature to the pool was perfect. In the backyard there were string lights which created a nice ambiance. We also thought the beds were comfortable. I liked that there was plenty of coffee available for the Keurig, body wash for the showers and laundry soap if we chose to wash our clothes. A previous review mentioned that the house needed some updates. Yes, that could be done, but the things that could be updated did not effect our stay. This is a house I would recommend to someone. We had a great time!

The house was clean but could use some updates. Master bedroom door stuck so bad it woke others up trying to open it. Kitchen was stocked but with cheap mismatched utensils and dishes, welcome book is outdated. Had security instructions but no security devices, mattresses and pillows were comfortable but when we removed the sheets they were gross and stained. The batteries in the living room clock were dead. We were there for a family reunion and was only at the house at night to sleep but it could be a nice place for a family stay. Being STR owners ourselves we would suggest a few things to make it a little more enticing; use waterproof mattress and pillow protectors to eliminated stains, upgrade the silverware and dishes, update the welcome book and don’t request guests to strip the beds before leaving (that’s why we pay a cleaning fee) who wants to mess with laundry when on vacation. Hope these tips help. The house was nice and clean thanks.

What a great weekend. Best VRBO experience ever. The house was better than the pics. The pool looks BIG in the pictures. It's bigger in person. The communications with the owner was.......instant. Thomas responded to and addressed every issue, immediately. Our only regret was that we discovered this gem on Graduation weekend. Parents weekend, move in weekend, move out weekend, all should have been spent in this house!! (Side note) there is a little side yard behind the gate. We stored our little trailer (for move out) behind the gated fence. Like I said, best VRBO ever. Stop giving a 2 star hotel 4 star money, and rent this house. You will not regret it. Cheers.

Had a nice time relaxing with our grandchildren

This is the 3rd house we’ve rented in Chico and it was our favorite thus far. It has a beautiful big back yard. Everything was very clean. All the house decor is simple yet perfect. We loved that there was a gas stove and plenty of kitchen cookware, etc. We especially enjoyed the bonus tv room in garage. The owner is very nice and accommodating.

The house is very clean and the location is nice as well. The pool was an wonderful added bonus that my grandchildren and I enjoyed. I would recommend anytime.

Was great experience. Only complaint is bed heights are a challenge for short senior citizens.

We stayed in the nice Chico home for the Chico State Family weekend. We had a wonderful time with all amenities needed for a nice long weekend. We will be back to this house it was clean and rooms were nice and comfortable. Sign us up for next year!

This property is fantastic. The house is very comfortable and A/C is working perfectly. Kitchen is nice and convenient to cook family meals with all the perfect equipment. Location is wonderfully close to biking trails and swimming holes. But the biggest hit in our group (a pair of grandparents, a pair of parents and an 11 year old boy who loves water) was the pool. It is just perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful as well; he is super responsive and very helpful. All in all - this is a perfect family get away.

Great house with a large pool and yard! It's a very kid friendly house and the backdoor to the fenced pool can be locked in a way that a 3 yr old can't open it.

Tidy, well cared-for spot. Air conditioning worked, beds are comfortable. Wi-fi and TV all good. Drinks on the pool-deck! Keurig coffee provided. We'd use it again.

The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. The pool looks lovely and the place is very spacious. The main problem I had was the house has a very weird smell which caused me to have the first asthma attack I have had in 2 years, and I had to take extra allergy medication the whole time. I thought it might be mildew and maybe the house was closed up for awhile before we arrived. Later, when we found a couple of dead roaches on the kitchen floor, we realized it may have been the smell of bug spray. Many of the pots and pans had dried up food in them and the silverware had to be washed before we used it. This could be a great place if some changes are made.

We had a great time, the house and yard was spectacular and plenty of space for our large family. The communication from the moment we booked until we checked out was also great. Great host and place to stay! Definitely would recommend and come back! Thank you so much!

The property is great in a quiet area. The rooms are spacious and mattresses are very comfortable. I didn't use the pool due to weather but will be back to use it at a later time.
