Words can’t describe how beautiful this place is. It is everything you could imagine for a Tuscan villa and so much more. The house is beautiful and the scenery is breathtaking. The house is decorated beautifully with ever amenity you could need and outside the views are amazing with views of vineyards and even hot air balloons floating by in the morning. Our host Loredana was also fantastic. She met us at the property to show us around, explain everything, and make sure we had everything we needed. Loredana and her beautiful home made our stay here the highlight of our 3 week Italian vacation. We absolutely hated to leave and are now only thinking about when we can get back to stay here again. Thank you Loredana for the absolute privilege of being able to stay at your amazing home!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family at this absolutely amazing villa! It far exceeded our expectations! Loredana was a gracious host and very responsive to our needs. She did an incredible job restoring this 600 year old treasure. The views were breathtaking and the pics do not do it justice! We all enjoyed the large pool and luscious grounds and the privacy it offered!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner (our host). She gave us a very thorough tour of the house & instructed us on how to use everything. We were a party of 8 people (4 couples) & were very comfortable with each couple having their own bedroom & full bathroom. The villa, in addition to the location, is indescribable. The words we used on first sight were, stunning, breathtaking, unbelievable & WOW! My heart will forever be a part of this magnificent Villa. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tuscany!!!

This property was everything we hoped for and more. Loredana was a joy to work with...helping me arrange transfers and a private dinner at this beautiful home. She even picked me up a couple bottles of wine from a neighbor's vineyard and baked us a delicious cake - what a welcome surprise! Casale Tagliafune is so well maintained, everything was clean and comfortable and the views are spectacular. Highly recommend.

We have been one week at Loredana’s house and it has been a wonderful stay. The house is very comfortable, specially for a large group as it has 5 rooms and 5 bathrooms. Big kitchen and very nice areas outside, in the garden. Great pool and beautiful garden. Loredana is there for anything and a very helpful hostess. We will come back for sure.

The house definitely keeps what it's promising! Great features, in a quite area with an awesome garden and pool. Also, the owner was very nice and not complicated at all. We would definitely go again and can only recommend it! The only point of improvement is the last 200m of road to the house which would need some work to fill all the potholes.

This villa and the experience it comes with is hard to explain in words. For starters, it is only a 25 minute drive outside Florence, and has immediate proximity to a lengthy list of family run wineries and quaint Tuscan towns. The owner, Loredana, is extremely responsive, helpful with any type of suggestion, and (possibly most important) will coordinate homemade Tuscan meals at the villa within 24 hours. The property itself is stunning, with views over the Tuscan hillside, numerous indoor and outdoor dining locations, comfortable sleeping areas, and a wonderful pool. I stayed here for a week with my wife and two other couples and we would recommend this property to anyone we know.

The villa and the surrounding view are absolutely amazing. The pool was very welcome and larger than usual, perfect for the very warm days. Space is not an issue here with plenty living room inside and a number of seating areas outside. The owner has put in a new pool since the pictures were made and added an inside dining area as well as an outside shaded patio to lounge. The property is at the end of a dirt road, and allows for pretty views into a valley. It was a little cooler, we could have made hikes in the hills. It is very peaceful and quiet. We were welcomed with a large cake for breakfast. The owner's cottage is also on the property, but there is plenty of space and it is not always occupied. It is obvious that the owner spent a lot of time creating this beautiful surroundings, with lemon shrubs in pretty terra cotta planters, comfortable furniture - all matching and a well equipped kitchen. It would be easy to prepare dinners for a large group. As the temperatures rose above the 38degrees, the house stayed relatively cool, but the bedrooms did become warm. Inevitable when there is a heat wave and the temperatures don't drop during the night. Fans helped to some extent. We had to pay cleaning and electricity fees separately at the property. The village of San Casciano is about a 10min drive (first the dirt road is a little bumpy but it is not too long) and Florence is about half an hour. There are many restaurants close by and places to explore, but with the heat we skipped some things. The house was very clean and the grounds and pool were well kept.

Nous avons passé des vacances magnifiques : Loredana est très accueillante et charmante, elle reste à disposition de ses locataires, c’est une excellente hôte. Sa maison est magnifiquement belle : dans le meilleur style toscan, avec du charme et de caractère (les photos sont fidèles à la réalité) Elle est bien placé pour visiter les villes incontournables de la région, comme : Florence, Sienne, Saint Gemignano, Volterra…et autres. Rien de mieux, après une journée de visite et marche, que de faire quelques longueurs dans la piscine de 17m et manger sur la terrasse extérieur (…pour le repas, vous avez le choix avec différentes salles à manger intérieur ou extérieurs) Le plus dur était de quitter la maison à la fin de séjour et son merveilleux pays : l’Italie. Lovely stay in the beautiful house. The house is huge, 2 living rooms multiple dining tables. Very friendly host, which responded quickly to any questions. She also booked Covid tests for us which we needed for our travels. I would very much recommend this place.

Po raz drugi wypoczywaliśmy w gronie znajomych w domu Loredany. Po ubiegłorocznym pobycie wiedzieliśmy, że MUSIMY to miejsce odwiedzić jeszcze raz (i na pewno nie ostatni) - jest to miejsce wprost wymarzone na wakacje w miłym gronie. Przestronny, świetnie wyposażony dom, zadbany ogród, bardzo duży, głęboki basen, przepiekne widoki na doline usiana winnicami i cyprysami - tak wyobrażamy sobie idealne miejsce na wakacyjny wypoczynek. Loredana jako gospodarz jest nieoceniona: powitała nas pysznym ciastem, dyskretnie zajmowała sie ogrodem i basenem w trakcie naszego pobytu. Gdy przyjechaliśmy, włączyła dla nas nawet telewizor z kanałem, na którym mogliśmy obejrzeć mecz ME Polska-Słowacja (i tylko wyniku nie była w stanie dla nas załatwić...). Z czystym sumieniem polecam ten dom.

Die Location ist ausgezeichnet und wird von einer tollen Gastgeberin geführt. Als Begrüßungsgeschenk erhielten wir sogar einen original Toskana Zitronenkichen. Toller Garten mit neuem Pool und unfassbarem Blick über das Val di Pesa! Perfekt geeignet für Familienurlaube und toll gelegen für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Pisa, Sienna... 100% zum Weiterempfehlen

Loredana's house is breathtaking. While the villa is about 30mins from the centre of Florence, it feels lost in time, in the Tuscan hills and wineyards. The garden and pool are incredibly well maintained, and the home is spacious and beautiful. The terrace's views onto the rolling hills below is one of a kind. Loredana went out of her way to make us feel welcome and pampered - we won't forget her hospitality and kindness! Thank you so much for an unforgettable family holiday!

Loredana hat das Haus wunderbar renoviert, alle sehr geräumigen Zimmer und Bäder mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet, die grosse Küche enthält alles, was man braucht. Der Pool ist grandios, die Aussenplätze laden ein zum Träumen und Verweilen. Loredana kümmert sich sehr um alles - das ganze Anwesen ist höchst gepflegt. Ein magischer und traumhafter Ort - wir hatten sooooooo schöne Ferien!!! Grazie Mille e tanti saluti!!

We had a wonderful stay at Casale Tagliafune. The location is wonderful near Florence and the many attractions of the Tuscan countryside. The Villa is very serene, and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. They were able to provide a meal the first night and arrange a cooking experience with Candida, who is a lovely person in her nearby home. I hope we can return in the future.

Loredana was a wonderful host greeting us as we drove up to the villa. She showed us around and per our request made us dinner the evening of our arrival, which was over the top beyond our expectations. The scenery was like out of a photo album. The villa was absolutely beautiful, clean, had all the modern conveniences, beds were comfortable, every couple had their own bathroom (with shower) and our stay couldn't have been better. We would definitely book this location again.

This was our first stop of many on our trip in Italy. Loredana was waiting for us upon our arrival, and was a pleasure to deal with. She provided recommendations of places to visit for both dinner and vineyards. Additionally, she helped us arrange a cooking class. There were 8 adults and a toddler staying here, and we had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with room to spare for us all. She had a pack and play for us to leverage for the toddler and a highchair which was extremely helpful. Additionally, we leveraged the washer and dryer. The pictures do not do the property justice. It was absolutely stunning, and we spent our nights outside on one of the many patios enjoying wine, conversation and food. There was easily parking for our two vehicles, and the place was easy to locate as well. We absolutely loved our stay, and when our travels bring us back to Italy this would be our first choice for a place to stay.

This was my 4th year at the Casale Tagliafune with our guests and each year our tour is better and better with the villa and the service that Loredana provides her guests. The home now has 5 bathrooms to go with its 5 bedrooms, which provides privacy and comfort for all of my guests. The kitchen is perfect for preparing multi-coarse meals for our guests to enjoy and served by a view that is one of the best views in all of Chianti. The grapes in the vineyard below provide wine which we enjoy with our meals, which makes for a very special dining experience for our guests. The villa is very charming, fully remodel with great country taste, making our visits relaxing and peaceful. The pool is always crystal clear and maintained everyday. The grounds create opportunities for beautiful and peaceful walks, you may even see a hot air balloon go by in the valley. The location is very close to town, making it easy to find all you need to create wonderful meals and quick access to motorways to make your touring day more efficient, providing more time for touring and less time in the car. Finally, it's Loredana and Stefeno that makes this villa the most enjoyable I've every visited, which have been many for my touring business, Italian Culinary Tours. Maison spacieuse typique au milieu des vignes et des oliviers. Nous avons été accueillis par Loredana avec gentillesse et prévenance. La maison est très grande et confortable, la piscine est immense et indispensable au mois d'août... bien placée entre Florence et Sienne, elle est un peu difficile d'accès à cause du chemin escarpé.

We had a wonderful vacation with family at Casale Tagliafune. The location is perfect with only about a 20-30 minute drive from Florence. The nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa was great for dining and grocery shopping. We had 7 adults and 2 kids here and there was plenty of space. It does get hot in the summer since there is no air conditioning but the fans at night helped. The pool is a great amenity at this house. We used it almost every afternoon to cool off after seeing the sights. We would definitely recommend using Chef Alessia. She cooked a wonderful multi-course dinner for us outside on the patio. We spent most of our time outside in the garden patio overlooking the beautiful view and under the covered patio for some shade. This is a great house and we look forward to coming back! We (a family of 7 ) stayed for 4 nights at the Villa and had a wonderful time. Loredana is a great host and was very helpful. The premises are very well kept and clean. We will come back if the opportunity arises.

Our first visit to San Casciano was in the late summer of 2014 and we were incredibly impressed and overwhelmed with the magnificent views over the beautiful Tuscan hillsides. The property and the buildings were immaculately clean, well maintained and romantically typical of our concept of the best of Tuscany. Our hosts were so welcoming and hospitable. We felt that while we were visiting such a spectacular location we were taken care of as if we were family. Our meals were of the highest quality and variety and were always elegantly presented whether we ate on the patio overlooking fragrant rosemary hedges to the verdant rolling hills and breathtaking vistas of Tuscany, or in the elegant dining room in this picturesque villa. We will never forget our impressions of tranquility and relaxation at San Casciano. We are most confident in recommending this property and we will definitely return as soon as we can. The view is breathtaking! It stuns you from the moment you arrive. And keeps doing that over and over again the moment you step into the beautiful garden where we spent most of the time. We had kids as well as elderly in our group and everyone loved the place. The pool was great on hot days. I do not believe you can find a better location if you plan to visit major Tuscany sightseeings. It is 30 min by car to the center of Florence, 40 min to San Gimigniano, 1 hour to Sienna or Pisa. Loredana, the owner, is wonderful. She and her friend prepared delicious dinner for the entire group with home made pasta, salad, and tiramisu (for extra charge). They actually taught the kids (and adults) how to make home made pasta and tiramisu!
