Location is excellent and it was wonderful to be treated to a delicious fruit bun for afternoon tea

Unfortunately we were unable to reach mugs and glasses from the glassed door cupboard. Even the tallest of our group, 5ft 7in, couldn't reach so we had to resort to buying mugs and glasses. This is our second time staying here and even with having to purchase mugs etc we had a great stay.

Great house for a family getaway. Plenty of space for 2 families, comfortable beds, clean & decent bathrooms, kitchen well equipped for making meals, and a nice private garden and terrace for bbq and relaxing. Easy 5 minute drive to the shops, the beach and the sights of Victor Harbour.

Just a few maintainence issues... the shower taps fell off, and turned the wrong way for hot and cold. The shape of the shower taps were also difficult for my elderly parents to use. Not enough dishwasher tabs provided for the whole stay. The terrace hadn't been properly swept by the cleaners and we found quite a few bits of broken glass on the floor. And the BBQ needed a good clean before we could use it. Otherwise tidy and well maintained.

We arrived on a 40 degree day and disappointed that only room without much needed cooling was the kids room :(

heating was good, everything was clean, and having a washing machine available was really convenient.

the ensuite was not very private and heated poorly.

Keys obtained from a lock box - couldn't be easier. Property was well maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable.

Given we were on motorcycles the pebble driveway. This is our only negative but understand their use.

The accommodation is situated perfectly within Victor Harbour. As a group of friends we have been staying in Victor for a few years now and this one has been the best. Excellent amount of facilities and being pet friendly too is a bonus.

It was hard getting some items out of the glass door cupboard as the tallest of our group is 5ft 7in but by using tongs we got what we needed.

Great location, close to the main street. Easy access in and out of the property with a central location to McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek region. Would definitely recommend.

The purple door was very neat and tidy had everything that you needed and plenty of room.

The beds were a little uncomfortable being a cheaper construction The mattresses are not high-quality. Also the pillows were cheap and nasty flat, lumpy horrible things. An investment in upgrading is definitely needed in regards to pillows and mattresses. Also there is no clothes dryer in the fully equipped laundry, Although there was a clothes horse you couldn’t really dry anything as the weather wasn’t great or really anywhere located in the house for drying it took days for things to dry. also due to the nature of the clothes horse made it hard to dry both towels and clothing for six people. it wasn’t ideal we had to take our washing to a laundry mat for drying. not that this is a major issue I just thought it was bizarre as it was the first property that we stayed in that had excessive rules such as how to wash and use certain cups, The welcoming in letter was several pages long with rules on how to enjoy your stay. we also were asked to strip the bedding and place it in the laundry along with our towels (the towels were a no brainer) but have never been asked to strip bedding before?? but happily did so. The mirror situation in bathroom and bathroom/laundry are small and in awkward positions. there isn’t anywhere to put skincare, lotions toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair tools etc they had to be packed back into bags and pulled back out for every use. although there were wardrobes and one dresser that located in a bedroom there wasn’t much storage for clothing especially in the bunk room. in one of the rooms there where rules on how to use the storage and asks not to put certain items in this area.

Bins not emptied by previous tenants & smelly. We emptied refuse off-site. We emptied yellow bin.

Facilities were amazing. It's a beautiful house with a great backyard. The home has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay there again!

The quilts were very thin so got cold the first night so made sure we turned the bedroom heaters on the second night. They were perfect for heating the rooms. There are a couple of pavers loose on the back outside stairs which were a bit of a trip hazard, but the rest of the yard was amazing.

Great parking, spacious, comfortable and private garden area.

Noisy exhaust fan in main bathroom was the only thing I could fault.
