The house is in a lovely, peaceful location near to the coast and Bideford. Everything was very clean and all the appliances worked. Beds and sofas were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very stylish.

There was not really much that could be improved on. It would have been good to have a chair or small table in the double bedroom and some hooks on the door would have been useful. In the bathrooms a shelf to put toiletries would have been nice, and instructions on how to turn on the heated towel rails would have been helpful.

The view! outlook over countryside from front of property, sounds of wildlife. size and space in the property, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds, the quiet at night. no traffic, apart from the few neighbours and an occasional tractor Family run Working farm with fishing lakes. lovely atmosphere, easy going laid back hosts, Able to contact if any questions . I asked about chairs for outside seating as the weather was lovely and unexpected, within 15 mins chairs were brought round.

The only thing I can think of was that the grass was too long in the play area. so could not use it to sit out. but to be fair, I hadnt booked for children on initial booking form and the weather had not been 'sitting out weather 'untill after we arrived. outlook at the rear like a building site. but no noise or activity the weekend we stayed, so was not a problem, looks like renovation work taking place. was not a problem to us at all, but dont know what it would be like during the week.

so homely and perfect for what we wanted - great for a group stay out the way enough to relax, beautiful country side but close enough to the town and lovely surf locations

this was a lovely massive farm house the kids absolutely loved this house and especially the lake down the bottom. it was in a lovely quiet location too. the owners were very nice and helpful too.

The house was immaculately clean, very well catered for, well presented home, well equipped which does help with cooking etc... Warm fire on arrival, good sized rooms... TV DVD and some dvds to watch, nice touch... And fresh mince pies waiting on the side ... I Would recommend this place again... mainly because the hosts where so friendly and helpful... qerky house lots of character and charm. Set in the Bideford country side.. 😋

The drive way needs some attention and a good sort out of the yard... Dogs need to be kept away from guests, as not everyone likes other people's dogs... and can be made to feel intimidated by them... The outside needs a coat of lime based paint or a paint that helps the building breath, not plastic paints... Etc... Heating for the water was underated and with a big bath ran cold very quickly...
