Great location, lovely views, property was perfect, lovely enclosed garden and walking distance to a great pub!

It is such a lovely property that is nicely tucked away from the road and also has views of the sea from the bedroom window. The property has so much character, from the stone arched windows to the log burner. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would definitely would stay here again (with our dog next time) :)

I can't think of anything that could have been better. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

A lot of thought has gone into making the most from a cosy space; hot water tap instead of a kettle, storage under the stairs and a good sized shower for saying what space is available. The accommodation was very charming and quirky, and the fire was awesome. Clean and comfortable. The little fenced garden was perfect for keeping the dog safe. The property also had WiFi ☺️

The only thing I'd change would be the layout of the TV and sofa. Maybe turning the sofa 90deg and the TV further into the corner? Was a little awkward watching the TV.

Very clean and comfortable. It is cozy but has everything you need and has been carefully thought out. The enclosed entrance yard meant the dog could nip out when needed whilst the location is a very short walk to the town

Nothing against the property but Ilfracombe itself was a little disappointing. Very run down and quite grim in places. However the property is handily located for exploring the rest of N. Devon.

Location was lovely with nice views, accommodation was really nice and comfy, nice bed and bedding. Ideal for quiet break by the sea. A lot of thought has been put into it to make it cosy.

The Well house is perfectly situated not far from the shops, restaurants and beach. It was a unique building which was beautifully decorated. The views from the house were perfect and helped us to unwind.

Abigail had left us a really nice welcome gift of milk, scones, jam & clotted cream, which was a great touch & enjoyed, thank you. The Well House was quirky accommodation in a lovely location, great views, an easy walk down to the harbour (a bit of a climb back up!) & across to the coastal paths. It was very comfortable & we loved the underfloor heating, especially for the cold weather we had 31 Mar/1st April.

There was nothing that we disliked, however, if we were staying there longer a cupboard for food would have been useful. The kettle tap was a good idea but I was pleased there was also an electric kettle too as it seemed to make a better cuppa!

The location was great - we were able to walk down to Ilfracombe harbour daily and enjoyed stunning views of the sea from the courtyard area. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and overall the facilities were exactly what we needed for our stay.

We found it quite difficult to contact the hosts during our stay, had to call multiple times until we received an answer regarding changing towels etc.

Very comfortable and stylish accommodation with beautiful view. Loved the cream tea on arrival which we enjoyed on the courtyard to the property looking at the stunning view.

Perhaps a BBQ for the Summer guests. Lovely spot for an evening with outdoor cooking.

A perfect space for two, cleverly designed and very comfortable. Great location, just 5 minutes' walk down to the harbour.

The property is STUNNING with a beautiful pond in the enclosed garden and a wow, wow, wow to the views!! Amazing location-walkable distance from lots of lovely places. Driveway and parking space perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will defiantly be back!

Toilet system, hit and miss if it works or not. Light came in from the un-blinded windows downstairs waking us up early (I can see why the windows don’t have blinds as they are beautiful, we were lucky enough to have a very sunny stay). A half pint sized or similar size glass’ for drinking water would have been nice. Hard to find anything else not to like!

We stayed for 3 nights at the Well House and loved it! It’s a really quirky accommodation with every detail thought of and catered for. There’s a private parking space near the house and the outside garden space and sound of the well water is beautiful. There is underfloor heating to keep you warm as well as the impressive log burner with wood provided and instructions. The kitchen is compact and contains all you need including some thoughtful welcome treats. The bed is super comfortable and the shower very warm. Be careful in the bathroom of the radiator as it’s very hot. There is a sign to warn you but worth covering with a towel in case you catch it when you bend over. The toilet flush wouldn’t work a couple of times so lift the cistern lid if it doesn’t work and it sorts itself immediately with instant fill water. A tv with free view is provided but no wifi which is great for switching off. The view from the bedroom window when you wake up is amazing! It’s easy to walk to the harbour from the house and you are there in 5 minutes. Wear good trainers or walking shoes in Ilfracombe as very hilly. Highly recommend and amazing value. Thanks so much.

This place is super quirky. It looks modern but has kept the original features which was really nice. It is such a cosy wee place. The underfloor heating was amazing, it really kept the place nice & warm. The place was very clean. The Well House had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Location wise it is perfect! The harbour & town are just a short walk away.

The driveway into the property is pretty rough, even when taking it super slow. You can't park directly outside the Well House so we emptied the car & used the parking at the main guest house which is just further up the drive. The only issue is, it is very dark. There is no lighting on the drive so it is pitch black. We used the torch on our mobile phones to help us, particularly as the path is uneven in places. The garden area outside the main guest house was were we'd take our dog first thing in the morning & last thing at night so some lighting would have been helpful. During the late spring/summer months this wouldn't be a problem but due to the time of year it was a bit of an issue.

Great place with lovely views. Very small inside but had everything you needed. Wood burner keeps you nice and toasty during colder weather. Really enjoyed our stay.

In case it has not been highlighted, the towel rail in the bathroom gets extremely hot. Just touched it with my back as I turned around and ended up with a painful 8 inch burn. It was reported to owner who said action would be taken.

Very comfortable and clean with everything we required for a short stay in north Devon.

Would have preferred to have had a standard cooker. Microwave a bit complicated, but managed it in the end.
