Communication was very easy. On time pick up. Detailed explanation of the property. AC in the room (but will cost more). Breakfast was amazing and they are very accommodating. It's far from the city but it was perfect for me as I had a late inbound flight. It cost 8-12 Sols to get to town from here via tuktuk.

Liegt sehr Nah am Flughafen )ca. 10-15min Fußweg) Die Zimmer liegen im Innenhof, so das die Geräusche der Mototaxi gut abgeschottet werden. Der Vermieter spricht sehr gut englisch und ist überaus hilfsbereit, inkl. angebotenen Transport zum Flughafen, da es noch dunkel war zu meiner notwendigen Zeit.

Die Bilder vom Pool passen nicht mehr zur Realität und läd nicht wirklich zum Baden ein.

Mein Aufenthalt im Guest House Poseidon war sehr angenehm! Sehr gut gelegen zum Flughafen aber genauso bequem erreicht man in etwa 15 Minuten das Stadtzentrum. Mir hat die Fahrt vom Hotel zum Stadtzentrum auch gut gefallen, weil man sofort einen Eindruck von der Stadt Iquitos bekommt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, groß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Klimaanlage olé :-) Einige haben sogar eine Hängematte zum Entspannen. Alles ist gut isoliert, man hört keinen Lärm und kann super schlafen. Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt. Wie überall in der Selva, kann das Internetsignal nicht immer perfekt sein, dass weiß aber jeder vorher, wenn er fernab von den Metropolen und Hauptstädten reist. Für mich am wichtigsten: Die Besitzer sind sehr sympathisch und freundlich! Sie kennen sich sehr gut in Iquitos aus und können wertvolle Insider-Empfehlungen geben. Man fühlt sich so, als ob man zu Besuch bei guten Freunden ist. Ich wurde vom Besitzer zum Flughafen gefahren, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein weiteres Highlight war für mich der Pool - Sauber und einladend um eine Runde zu schwimmen und sich abzukühlen! Ich werde definitiv beim nächsten Besuch wieder kommen.

The rooms are very big and clean! The owners are so nice! Really friendly people that want to help with everything! The pool is also very nice, so you just can chill here!

When you need a hotel near from the airport, it is perfect but it is quiet far from the city center.

Everything was amazing!!!!!! Wilson & his wife were so good to us and extremely kind. They ordered pizza for us and even dropped us at the airport free of charge the next morning (at 05.30!). They are extremely good people and we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend anyone coming to Iquitos to stay here.
