All the other reviews are true! We have booked many houses, this ons was the best. Superb location, really everyhting you need to live is there, clean, great bed, and te best of all: 2 outside places to relax and enjoy the view of the fjord. Thank you family Otnes Sør! We will be back:)

Beautiful setting and very large apartment with every amenity one could want. The host was very pleasant and even drove us to and from a hiking trailhead. Great property overall.

Fantastic location with panoramic fjord views, pristine apartment, and very friendly punctual host who met us to hand over the keys and show us how everything worked in the apartment.

Amazing location and views. Home is spotless.
Loved it and we were able to use sea kayaks and bicycles too.
We were very well looked after with help offered to launch kayaks (which wasn't needed in our case) and lifts to Flam. Very thoughtful.
Village lovely to cycle through.
Also it was beautiful to sit out on verandah or loungers and watch the world go by.

we loved everything about this property from its location, views, facilities , comfort level but most of all the exceptional Host who collected us off the ferry and took us to the property before taking us to the only open supermarket as we had arrived on a Sunday. He was so friendly , welcoming and helpful even dropping us to the train station when we left. Thank you very much Hallgeir .

The location of the property was outstanding, the best place that my wife and I stayed at during our honeymoon in Norway. Located directly between Flåm and Aurland so both villages were easy visits. Otnes Sør had every amenity we needed during our stay
During our visit, I believe it was nearly 18+ hours of daytime in Norway, so when we went to get some rest it was still fairly bright… Extra pull down shades in the master bedroom would be a great addition to an otherwise amazing stay

The views are epic and the house is so stylish and comfortable. It was spacious and yet cozy and the perfect way to spend 2 relaxing days. Our host was also kind enough drop us back at the train station since we didn't rent a car.
There is a grocery store within walking distance for basics, but pack your own wine/alcohol because they don't sell any and the nearest place is 1 hour drive away!

Best view from a rental I have ever had. Apartment is entire top floor of home but feels stand alone. Exquisitely designed and well laid out. Kitchen is larger and better equipped than my own. Integrates with nature in a modern and comfortable way. Beds and linens are super comfortable, bathroom is spacious and nice shower.
Nothing, would rate an 11 if I could.

Everything!! The views from every room are spectacular! The home is beautiful and like new and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor space is fabulous for viewing the fjord. Definitely a 10+

Everything is awesome! Views from all windows and terraces are amazing! Kitchen has everything that you just can imagine. Also we used kayaks, great expirience! Host is very helpful and hospitable! After all, we with friends decided that it was the best our accomodation, huge thanks for that!

Staying at Otnes Sor was an amazing experience, the views were spectacular as was the house with all the conviences you needed. We loved it so much we stayed in and cooked in the fabulous kitchen both nights instead of going out. It is a little walk into Aurland but the team were amazing and even gave us a ride to the ferry and waited for us at the bus stop. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional view, plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels in bathroom. Washing machine and dry cleaner. Soap provided. Spotless appartement, really clean. Comfy sofas and beds. Quiet. Amazing outdoor area with several outdoor furniture, barbecue. In fact one of the best appartements we have ever rented, and we will gladly recommend this to everyone!

Everything. The hosts were extremely responsive, everything worked perfectly and the place was lovely, picturesque and spotlessly clean.
Even with the heat off and the windows closed the house was very warm....roughly 25C/77F...at least 10F warmer than outside. Opening the windows didn't help much, opening the doors did. Relative to the northeastern US or anywhere in Eastern Canada there is no insect pressure at all. The windows are unscreened and leaving the doors open admitted no bugs.

It was exceptional! Very friendly house owner, amazing views. House was very clean, with a lot of amenities: bikes, kayaks, barbeque, etc. Most importantly, the view is marvelous! It is a once in a lifetime experience ☺️

Everything just fantastic. Amazing view, quiet, comfortable, spacy, well equipped. Great host and easy communication. Beautiful aerea for trips hiking. Even a favourable folder with suggestions and info. available. Love this place 😊

Hallgeir picked us up via car directly from the train station. He also kindly offered to drive us around the village to see the main attractions. His son David also took us out kayaking - both were lovely and welcoming. The location itself was beautiful. The balcony had a panoramic view of the fjord, and the house was comfortable and clean.

We had a wondeful stay in this exceptionnal house.
The house is in an excellent status and very well equipped. The view from the house is breath taking (better than photos).
This is definetly a five stars accomodation that I highly recommend.
David and his father were very welcoming and helpful, thank you!

Absolutely fantastic place. Most beautiful house we stayed in Norway. Will 100% come back. Friendliness, kindness of the hosts, clean and superb house. Wish we could have stayed longer.
