We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our family of 14. This included 8 adults, three 11 year olds, a 7 year old, a 2 year old and an infant. The place was big enough for everyone to have personal space but allowed us to eat our meals all together as a family. The pool was amazing! The in-pool seating was great. The patio had enough seating for everyone. The sleep arrangements were great too. The walk to the beach was not far so we could go for a few hours and come back to the house for lunch! Overall it was perfect for our family!

This vacation home comes as equipped with everything you may need to enjoy the being inside or getting outside at the pool or the beach. Very well maintained and clean. Great communication with Dave prior to our stay as he answered any questions quickly. He also texted to checked in on us during our time there. Thanks Dave and Maureen for providing a home that is just as advertised.

I had my Destination wedding in North Myrtle Beach Oct 21. My side of the family stayed in these beautiful, 2 story house with pool for 2 nights. Great amenities. Love the modern open kitchen dining living room floor plan. There are ceiling fans in every room and the checkers game table, the pool table and Pac-Man were really fun things to do. The pool table was a great table, even in all sides - true roll.
Communication is easier if it’s directly to the hosts. Vrbo communication was not working. Something was wrong with their site. Site not easy to use.
Otherwise, we had a great time! And will book this place for gatherings again.

Our family included 11 adults and 2 children. The house was a quick walk to the beach. The house had plenty of beach towels and chairs, including a wagon for the beach.
After being at the beach, we enjoyed the heated pool surrounded by privacy, while the children napped.
The kitchen was well stocked for our needs, and plenty of towels for the week.
The cribs were a bonus allowing our kids to fly rather than drive. We would highly recommend this home.

This house could not have been any better for the accommodations we needed for our family vacation. We had adults and little ones and we had everything we needed. We used the baby cribs, high chairs and huge dining room table everyday. The bedrooms were good size and every family unit had their own bathroom which was a huge bonus. The walk to the beach was easy and the white sand was great for the kids. The pool called our names everyday for swimming and for relaxing with a drink in the evening. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone with a large family and little children. Thank you Dave and Maureen for a lovely place to stay!

Six couples (age 60 and up) take a trip each year, this year we chose North Myrtle Beach and Pineapple Palms. What a beautiful home and so well stocked, the owners were quick to respond to the small issues we had. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting NMB, quiet neighborhood and short walk to the beach.

There were issues with the property. The two biggest issues was the amount of insects inside and right outside the home. I realize we were in South Carolina but I have never had to run through palmettos falling on steps into our residence in the past. Several of my guests noticed palmettos inside the home there were ants on the second floor on the counters, TVs were constantly buffering in many of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were fine, but could use better small area rugs the ones that were present were old and thin. The staircase are in need of a paint job, and there was a panel that was coming off the pillar I believe that it was an electrical box for the pool area. The outside shower was dirty and loaded with debris and old beach toys. It made the pool shower area unusable for the first two days. We notified the owner, and that issue was resolved. We have been going to the Outer Banks area for over 10 years for a family vacation. I am providing this feedback because I think all of these issues are correctable.

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at Pineapple Palm. Cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. First time we didn't have to clean anything prior to feeling comfortable using the property. Well done housekeeping! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 13 of us. It was wonderful not having to pack our own beach chairs as there were plenty available for us to use at the house. Thank you for the stay.

This house was spacious and super cute with the pineapple theme. Reasonable and Super Nice backyard and pool. It was stocked with everything you could think of. Close to many attractions. Owners were very nice. We walked to the beach with the children everyday. Very close walk. They even had wagons to haul everything to beach along with beach toys. Definitely recommend this property! For our first family Christmas vacation, this was a great place for the inaugural event. The home accommodated us perfectly and there was more than enough room for us to be together in one place, then separate when needed. We were able to take advantage of the amenities of this home. We did not have any problems other than the sudden brisk, cold weather but we did not even complain about that. If we ever decide to do anything in the warmer months as a family, we will definitely consider this lovely home again...the access to the beach is not bad at all. Thanks to the kind owners for providing such a lovely place to call home away from home!

The property was exactly as described by the owner and better actually since we had twin infants in our group and there were more baby things than were listed in the house for our use which made our stay very convenient. We had a large age group range and the house was perfect for everyone with the pool table, arcade game, and books, not to mention the house being very roomy so we weren't on top of each other. The owners were very gracious and helpful which we appreciated, but there were no problems that we needed to contact them about so we could just focus on having a good time.

We loved our stay here! There were 2 families of 4, 2 couples and 4 single people and there was more than enough room to accommodate all of our needs. We loved the private pool as well as the short walk/golf cart ride to the beach at the end of the street. The numerous amenities made it easy to hang out at the house in our down time as well as cook family meals for dinner. We also appreciated the beach chairs, toys, and outdoor shower provided for our beach days. The location was also close to golf courses, mini-golf, restaurants, shopping centers, and other local activities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for large group gatherings!

Many more pluses than negatives
Here are the factors that kept us from giving a full 5 star rating. One room did have dog hair all over the comforter and sheets. We did report this to Dave and Maureen and they were more than willing to accommodate us but we had already rectified it. We just let them know for the next guest and to let them know we did not have any pets. The rest of the house was extremely clean. Going through the bedroom to get to the outside door to the pool was the only other concern. Downstairs iron did not get hot. Everything else was as advertised or better. Pat and I would like to thank Dave and Maureen for letting us have our family reunion and celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in their house. All our guests spoke highly of the house and area.
