The room itself is beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, spotless facilities, and nice added touches such as porridge and decent coffee and tea bags. What takes it to another level is how Tim and Annie welcome and make you feel comfortable! The room is right next to the main house and shares the front garden area, but the room is fully private and we were welcome to use the lovely Summer House and seating area next to The Thames. I genuinely can't think of a nicer place to stay in Wallingford, and I hope to be back soon!

The hosts were so warm, welcoming and attentive even allowing an early check in and use of the free car paking space beyond check out. The accomodation was cosy and compact but with everything we needed. Breakfast items, snacks, beverages and a lovely little garden house was available for use. Located close to the town centre with easy acces to shops and restsurants, plus being iterally on the edge of the Thames, this is a gorgeous get away space to chill out in. Huge thanks to the hosts! I recomend...😁

Our room was absolutely lovely, we had everything we needed and more!Beautiful cosy room we loved it. The garden with the beautiful views is fantastic for sitting by the water. Our hosts were very welcoming.

Beautiful location, with everything you need plus lots of nice touches that make this a solid 9.5 out of 10. Tim is great, really welcoming. it’s a short walk from the centre of Wallingford & a great place to stay if you can book it.

We got confused between this location called The Boathouse and the pub in central Wallingford by the same name. I’m glad we did because we loved this location and our stay :)

The property is a little annex to the main house and it is absolutely beautiful, we loved it. Gorgeous decor, large comfortable bed, immaculately clean, fab waterfall shower and thoughtful touches such as nice tea/coffee, milk, biscuits, wine and beer. The setting is also amazing, right by the river and walking distance into town.

The car parking was good but if your not a confident driver you may struggle to park but very secure : )

the only feedback I would give is the outside light was controlled by the house so it was very bright until the house lights were turned off about 1130 pm perhaps a black out curtain across the door. ?

Absolutely beautiful location and Warm welcome from host with parking onsite. The room is so cozy and beautifully made up. Excellent shower and very comfy bed. Perfect little touches with lovely treats and facilities. Short walk to lovely town and perfect for river walks.. Could have stayed longer and want to go back in the summer to make the most of garden spot on rivers edge and summer house. Recommend The coachmakers arms and The George tavern for drinks, friendly staff and atmosphere. Good curry at the Wallingford Tandoori....Great value Happy nights Weds and Thurs. Delicious brunch at The waterfront cafe on way home.

Amazing accommodation along with amazing hosts! Would recommend this place to all! Thank you for a perfect short stay, the extra amenities were a lovely touch.

Everything in the room was really tasteful, super comfortable and practical- from the bed linen to the shower products to the books and decoration. There was a choice of breakfast items in the room and great facilities, so it did not matter that there was not a cooked breakfast- the solitude and quiet was far better than being in a regular hotel situation. Location was great, we look forward to returning in the summer with our paddle board!

Lovely room, great location and lots of nice finishing touches. A very warm welcome and an easy checkout, we will need to stay for longer next time. Bed was very comfortable and a drench shower is always a big plus. Thanks very much!

Sitting on a bench watching the river and drinking Prosecco. Alexa playing music for us. Fantastically comfortable large bed. Fabulous location easily within walking distance of restaurants in town. We hope to be back soon!

I had a lovely stay. Absolutely gorgeous and very clean room with very nice owners. Having a summer house in the garden, overlooking the Thames, to have breakfast and work in, was absolutely a plus. Having my favourite wine as welcome was perfect.

Be aware that location on the river (a positive!), does mean that it is at the end of a dark small street. For me not problem, but I could imagine that some travelers might feel uncomfortable walking back at night.
