this is second year we have rented this home. we like the separated levels so kids can socialize and play ping pong and karaoke on lower level while aduts enjoy main level. the loft with 2 beds is a great bonus. the dock with 2 boat slips makes a great swim place with small sandy beach and shallow water.

Home was clean Well stocked. Decorated nicely. Awesome view on the lake. Had a great stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at this amazing VRBO on Lake Tuscaloosa and it was superb! The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The home is well equipped and the views are spectacular! Everything about the home is not only comfortable (beds, outdoor furniture…etc.) but beautiful. Although our daughter is now a graduate from UA, we certainly will return for some future football games! Thank you for a five star stay and ROLL TIDE! ❤️

Beautiful property! Plenty of space, relaxing area. Directions to the place from the owner were excellent and easy to follow. Not too far from the Strip and University, only about 30 minutes.

This property was very well maintained and very convenient to the UA campus. There's a grocery store 5 minutes away if needed. We chose this property for parent's weekend and could not have asked for a better experience!

Excellent home with everything we needed for the week long stay! Awesome water view with great water off the dock. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms! Convenient to the grocery store and a short distance to Tuscaloosa and UA’s campus. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, absolutely no issues with host or directions !

The accommodations were really nice. Exceptions were, there was a fireplace, but no wood to burn. Having a fire going would have made it really nice. There was a propane fire pit, but NO propane. We actually left a tank that we purchased that was almost full. The floors need to be mopped well. Several of my grandkids developed “Walmart” feet. But, the views were great. Places for many to sit and eat. Very nice facility to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Property was exactly as described. Great views from a beautiful lake front property. House was clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and great floor plan. Communication with owner was easy and prompt. We will definitely be back!

This house was better than expected. Great setting on lake and beautifully remodeled with two master bedrooms with baths, two separate entertaining areas, gorgeous back deck, fully equipped kitchen and lots of sleeping accommodations. We stayed for a game weekend and wanted to stay longer!

Very updated and lovely lake house. Easy to access from car and lake easy to access from house. Great large covered deck. Some traffic noise . Enjoyed our stay!

The property was as advertised, Barry the host is very accommodating and helpful and the property itself is beautiful. I would stay here over and over again.

We had a wonderful stay on Lake Tuscaloosa thanks to Mr. Barry and the accommodations provided. My family all commented how much they liked having their own sleeping quarters but were able to gather in the living room, porch and down by the water. The ping pong table was also a huge bonus for my kids. We hope to be back next summer as we all agreed a week on Lake Tuscaloosa was a very relaxing and enjoyable way to visit with family.

The owner is very good with communication, and was in touch with our group far ahead of our stay. There are many many things we could promote about this house, but the view from the back porch took the cake. There are two decks (upper and lower), and they were perfect for lounging any time of day. The house itself has the kitchen on the main floor as well as a wet bar on the bottom floor. The rooms are spread out well enough that our whole group of 11 had plenty of space to sleep. If we make it back to this area, we will certainly stay at this property again.

Weather was awful, but the house was wonderful and view beautiful. Driveway was a challenge to find in the dark but we found it. Nice getaway location within easy distance from campus.

Overall stay was Very Good. Barry was very helpful. Probably should update posting to let renters know that there is construction going on literally in the back yard. Wasn't too much of an issue but would have been nice to know before renting. Will definitely rent again. Cp

Barry communicated with us about a week prior to our arrival that high wind had knocked out the power, and that we might have to cancel. But, he let us know a day or two prior to the rental that the power was back on. The WiFi was not yet fixed, but he anticipated repair by the week of July 11. We were two families (2 sisters, their husbands and children). The house's 3 bedrooms are on 3 different levels, which creates some separation. But, it's hard to feel any sense of privacy in the loft area Master bedroom, as it opens into the main living area. Might be good to put more visual warning (bright color or dangling something) on the spiral staircase, which is at head level. I bumped into it a couple of times. Nice to have access to washing machine and dryer with a group of 8 people. Propane grill worked well. Bring your bug spray if visiting in summertime. Very roomy dock area for swimming in lake. Loved the swim island. Easy to get to from Tuscaloosa and Northport. Overall a positive experience.

Great place to stay and Barry is always very helpful. New upgrades every year. Best part is the view!!

Absolutely lovely, plenty of living space, great areas to talk, play card games and enjoy cooking and eating. The dock was wonderful and the surrounding grounds. We would not hesitate to go back. This rental had everything you would want and more. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

The pictures don't do justice. My family had a great time, and we're looking forward to our return. Oh by the way a point worth mentioning, the owner is a good guy to deal with.

We normally spend a summer vacation at the beach but we opted for the lake this time and boy are we glad. The house was wonderful. Plenty of room, picutures displayed the actual home which was extremely nice and the lake was incredible. The location of the home is perfect. Very close to T-Town but yet in the country. We plan on some fall stays if available. I highly recommend this retreat for famililes that have children of all ages.

We have stayed at this house two summers in a row and absolutely loved it! Great location not too far from town/U of A. House is very family friendly and comfortable. Nicely appointed with everything you could possibly need. This area of the lake is nice and quiet. Great swimming area for our kids and nice flat yard to play in. We hope to return this summer!!
