building construction (pool) lack of hot water (shower) No tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms. Poor transport facilities to & from hotel (extortionate price) would recommend the hotel had their own minibus & driver for excursions for trips out. on the whole we had a wonderful time, the locals were nice people, Uncle, Osel, Miss Carol & Miss Angela very accommodating. Mount Zion is a beautiful place, would come back to stay with you again

The hosts were warm and friendly and we felt pampered during our stay. I would definitely recommend Takuma boutique hotel and I will use it again if I am staying in Montego Bay.

The location and facilities were perfect for a weekend away.

I like the seclusion of the area, quiet/peaceful. The property seemed secure as it had cameras on the compound. The room was spacious, hot water worked, strong WIFI. Ms. Carol was honest and respectful.

The room was not set up for the number of guests I had reserved for. Upon arrival Ms. Carol- head of the property was not there as such communicating with the other receptionist was horrible as her response to everything was she is new and cant answer any questions. Did not like that there wasn't adequate parking on the grounds . When making a query no one could provide a simple answer. Reserved a room for 4 persons, 4 days before our arrival I asked if another person could be added making it a party of 5. I was told yes @$30US for the 5th person. Upon arrival, I was told they expected a party of 4 and that who ever responded to the email didn't pass the information along. When we got to the room, the room could only sleep 3. We had arrived for an event in Montego bay as such got ready in the room and upon leaving we spoke to Ms. Carol who said she was going to speak with her boss overseas and would make arrangements for the other 2 guests to get a room. We got back at 2AM and was told that we could get the other room but it would be more than $30 as it is a room they could have reserved for another guest . Granted the original room that was supposed to sleep 4 had accommodations for ONLY 3 and I had asked for it to be upgraded to a party of 5. Being that late and we were exhausted the other 2 persons know someone in the vicinity and left to seek lodging there. After they left I was told that they were going to make up a room for 2 and that it was just miscommunication, as the manager who is over seas had called one of the grounds men and told him to get a room ready. He however did not relay that information as he thought Ms. Carol was also informed. We arrived on the compound 3pm, pointed out that there was a blunder, we got ready and before leaving for the event after 5pm was told it would be rectified. Upon arrival at 2AM I am expecting to get a key to a room... Not more conversation, that's the purpose of the reservation. JUST...

The customer service is very good. The breakfast and drinks were made very good. its a very intimate experience. I would definitely book again just not stay there on my own. My friends all stayed somewhere else and it was booked before I got a chance to order mines this was a very convenient alternative.

The bathtubs need to be cleaned better. You cant enter or leave without the main gate being operated by an employee. The outside of the facilities needs an update(bar & restaurant areas: main entrance area) I would not stay here alone if I book again but I definitely would book again if im staying in that city.

Breakfast was excellent. Lunch was good. The property was secure. The host was very good; great attitude. She ensured that we were comfortable.

The fruit trees are nice and the ocean view from the top floor is beautiful

They require cash to pay for food which I did not have. They do not have a card machine nor do they have an ATM. Nor are there any nearby, I had to take a taxi into the city to to get cash. At that point I decided to change hotels

The only thing I didn’t like was it is just too far from the town

The rooms were clean and a good size. The breakfast was really nice and the views are amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The water wasn't working when we first arrived however minutes after calling it was working properly.

I had to leave the first day.

My shower did not even work & when I went to go lay down after a long night of traveling to get here, there were bed bugs. I packed up all of my things and left after I saw that and realized that my shower was not working. I was very disappointed. The staff also told me that I was not allowed a refund either. Ridiculous…

Not well advertised at all, this place is a gem

It was a very nice space with a wonderful view from my room and from the restaurant on the upper level. I was able to book a massage in my room

The people that work there was great, especially Mrs Carol, the place was clean and was little in the mountains but not to far. But it was beautiful, the air condition was good, there weren't any bugs unless nite time but you should close door. The main feature is the food! I've worked restaurants and the food that's miss Carol cook is really five star quality. The food def Jamaican style and local. So if looking American she can do that but mainly Jamaican is best, Mrs Carol also asks what kind food we like and special make it for us. And they bring the food for us. I .also really love Jackson driver, he is the driver for them, he is friendly and he helped us fine things and place do and gave us very good prices and wasn't taking advantage cause was American. He is good man and he does right thing. The whole staff was superb and amazing and kind! I went Jamaica before November stayed airnb and paid cheaper someone where else and got something else and ended getting mad but bites and got infection was hot no condition so told myself pay more for quality. So it was well worth it, would love more discount if we stayed longer but good. I know owner said he putting pool. There was some stuff in the add that they didn't off or was miss leading that should fix. But overall was stay warm best.

Didn't like the some of the advertisement, and how thought we had private room with kitchen and not we had share or not use it's and how they don't have just two person, one queen size bed for two. Didn't see advertise. They wifi service kept going of on. And maybe should have more choices for snacks and food and drink choices for bar and activities and music which didn't have when went there.

the staff was so bad with customer service, we pay for an air conditioning room and the just give us a fan room, they don’t let us use the kitchen, doesn’t have iron. must of the facilities of the list essentially avaible.
