The cleanliness could have been better.

The breakfast fare was for us either at the big buffet choices or urban heat. Both were very good but we preferred urban heat since it gave us a bit of both the ability to order off a menu and a small buffet selection. The menu prepared food was very good.

We stayed on the adult only side but spent most of our time on the family side. The adult side is really geared towards adults who want to party. The adult only is misleading since you think it will be nice and subdued without kids. The fact is that side was much louder at all hours than the family side. I wished I had picked the other side. The fitness center is or can be really amazing but the fact that there is no AC or fans and the bulk of the cardio equipment is broken made it quite frustrating. I have previously stayed here and noticed a marked decline in the condition of the buildings.

The food and drinks were very satisfying.

The beach was not as good as I imagined

I didn’t get the room I requested but I don’t think it was the hotels fault I believe the mix up occurred through booking.com

I liked the room and the balcony.

The flies, there were a lot of flies everywhere. I couldn't enjoy the balcony like I wanted to because of so many flies. I also didn't like the way the Jamaican staff treated my husband once he opened his mouth and began talking and they realized he was also Jamaican. They started treating him as if he didn't deserve to be there.
