Ruth was very welcoming on arrival. The property was very clean and comfortable. The views were amazing, especially as we over looked the field with donkeys & horses in! The location was very peaceful and calming. Ruth made it very special for my boyfriends birthday with her light box, a bottle of bubbly and rose petals :) Hot tub was a lovely bonus!

Amazing place to relax after Christmas, very peaceful and secluded. Great with the garden/hot tub overlooking the animals in the fields. Will definitely be back in the future.

The most beautiful views from our very own hot tub. Immaculate lodge. Newly refurbished. Very clean. Perfect relaxing retreat for a weekend away with my partner. Can’t wait to book again. Also fabulous host’s incredibly welcoming and warm. Ruth is a wonderful lady who should be proud of her fabulous retreat in Shrewsbury. 5 stars across the board.

Immaculate lodge. Clean. Fabulous hot tub. Very clean. Fully kitted with everything you could possibly need. So peaceful and amazing spot to watch nature whilst in the hot tub. Stars are wonderful at night.

The location and the accommodation

The bed was a little small we are used to sleeping in a kingsize

When we arrived at the location, we was greeted by Ruth and Major Tom, Ruth shown us around our challet and was very polite, friendly and gave us so many recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area! Our challet was nice and tidy upon arrival, the decor and colour scheme was lovely (it’s making me want to redecorate the house orange lol) the hot tub was our favourite moment of the whole trip😍 I would recommend this property to everyone however it is a massive help if you drive as there are quite a few back roads but that can’t be helped! Would give Ruth and Dean 10/10 for their hospitality and will definitely visit again! Thank you both x

Ruth was very accommodating, let us arrive early and get comfortable before we had to head out for a floatation experience. The little touches were very much appreciated. The caravan was spotless, parking right outside and the bonus of free WiFi. The views from the decking were stunning and we enjoyed a couple of sunsets from there and in the hottub. Shrewsbury is quaint and it was nice to wander through the town and market. We visited Shrewsbury prison which was great and the tapas restaurant in town was exceptional. We'll definitely be back someday

Dean and Ruth are absolutely amazing! They are around whenever you need but in the least intruding way possible. You have absolutely everything you need with a Sainsbury’s 10 mins away and the most incredible Indian Mahmin’s delivery right to your doorstep. Major tom and Bailey are an amazing edition to making the stay even more memorable! And just because that isn’t enough the amazing hot tub with the beautiful views make this the real wow factor! I could not recommend enough! Me and my partner had the most amazing time and will be returning as soon as we can!
