Very nice home on a quiet street with a beautiful view of the water. Large living area. Nice size kitchen. Great place for a family or for a couple to just get away. Close to Lake Luzerne, Saratoga Springs, and Lake George.

House was very nice in a nice quiet community right on the river. The property owner was great and responded to emails very quickly. It is very rare that the pictures match the property but in this case they did. Everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Place is nicely located and was decently clean inside. Nice fire pit and several chairs. The kayaks are worn, paddles old and rack is rickety- the kayak fell off the upper bay onto my husband when we tried to load them back in place. Dock too is slap-dash & wobbly. The vinyl porches badly need to be power washed. Landscaping has gone to pot. Just a little too untended in general for $XXXX/wk.

Staying on the river was new for us so we brought some ropes and floats to tie to the dock which allowed us to float and relax on the water. I would highly recommend this! If you bring kids I would encourage you to bring your own life jackets just in case! The property was clean and the kitchen was newly renovated. There are some great hikes within 15-20 minutes and a lot of other fun things to do/try, including some nearby sandy beaches. We had a great stay and the owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive!

We had an awesome time, great location just wish we had warmer weather. The view and River were awesome.

Day one was great! Day two became a nightmare! When an unexpected serious problem with the property arose, it became even worse when the owner was not responding to our phone calls or texts. We lost out on our vacation due to some family members having to leave because of the problem, and we lost a night and half a day due to having to be re-housed in a hotel due to the seriousness of the problem ( septic system backed up into the cellar and we had infants with us on vacation - not the healthiest environment). And then we started to notice the other deficiencies - dishwasher didn't work right, the microwave didn't work right, the back screen door was broken and left on the deck, one if the recliners was broken , there was no room for our trash since the barrels were overflowing from the last tenants, the housekeeping wasn't the best, the lawn wasn't mowed in awhile, and when we were leaving there was a critter trying to get into the house from the basement through the vent in living room ! We had a lot of conversations with vbro with this past week due to the septic problem and they tried their best to meet our needs, however , in the end we spent a lot of money on this vacation rental and looked forward to it for a year. We understand that it was an unforeseen incident (although I am curious when the last time he had the septic pumped before this incident) - but the owner was not very sympathetic with us WHEN we actually got to communicate with him. I strongly feel we should be compensated in some way and he could care less. Guarantee we will not be back!

Great quiet area to enjoy time between Saratoga and Lake George. The house was perfect size for our group of 7. We utilized the 2 kayaks that were there and loved the large fire pit for our nightly s’mores. Communication with owner was easy and would definitely rent this house again.

Lovely home right on the Hudson River. We had a great time with our children and our grandson. The only thing I would suggest is the kitchenware should be replenished. More pots and more utensils. We would definitely stay again.

The property looked amazing from the photos but it wasn’t until we got there that we realized how awesome of a door it was! We planned on going to local beaches a few times that week and we didn’t even need to! The backyard/waterfront was enough fun by itself! Our 3yo son absolutely loved playing in the water and kayaking! Highly recommend this place!

This was our second year at this beautiful home on the river. We absolutely love it. We will definitely be back next year.

House was right on the lake. Beautiful. Easy access to water. House was very roomy. Pretty much everything you need is in the house. About 20 minutes to Lake George . Kayaks available on property. Nice fire pit. We had a great time! Thanks Shawn!

The setting was lovely but the grounds outside could use some TLC. Kitchen well supplied. Blinds could be fixed or changed..Shawn was good to deal with. Nice long weekend by the water!!& winery was Fun!

It was Awesome!!!! Let me tell you your house is beautiful and I cant wait to rent it out again, very clean and well prepared. The outside was amazing, views on views!!! Next time I'll rent in the summer so I can go out on the water. Over all definitely 10 out of 10!!!!

We spent New Year’s here to take part in the First Night activities in downtown Saratoga. Location was great and many amenities nearby.

The house was perfect for our family weekend. The only thing I might say is that the kitchen needs better pots and pans. There are only small pans which was difficult for cooking for 10 people. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The location and overall appearence of home are great. There were a couple of amenities listed that were missing - HBO, Gas Grill. Severa missing, burnt out lightbulbs and a need for more/better cutlery in the kitchen for example. Overall a beauatiful home and location that is a little overpriced for the value given the missing items.

My family and I had a great time at this perfect house right on the river. We will definitely be returning for another vacation.

Our stay at Lake Luzerne was wonderful, It was only a about 20 min. drive to Lake George and only 5 min. to the downtown to get to the grocery store. Having access to the lake right outside the backyard we were in the water everyday and had a fire every night. The house was very roomy for the 10 ppl plus the 2 dogs we had and there was plenty of parking for the 5 cars we had. The backyard was big enough for the dogs to run around and still be able to have a fire and play yard games. The only issues was that the grill needs to be replaced - only one of the burners was working and some of the light bulbs needed to be replaced. I cannot wait to go back it was one of the most relaxing and best vacation we have had.

We stayed at the property in June and found it very comfortable. It had everything we needed-- nice kitchen, eating area, 2.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. We enjoyed having camp fires outside by the Hudson River at night and also using the kayaks. The river was nice and calm and we didn't have to worry about being dragged downstream. Also the water depth at the rock wall was just a few feet deep, dropping off by the end of the dock, with a soft bottom. That allowed us to wade into the water. A great place for families.

We had a great stAy at the lake house! Very clean and comfortable...had all the essentials and an awesome fire pit! House is in a great location, close to lake George and Saratoga springs! Definitely one to visit again!
