It is a short (hilly) walk away from the funicular, making Bilbao very accessible.
Breakfast was made fresh and a good selection available.
Ignacio was very accommodating to open the swimming pool for a quick dip!
The ceilings in the attic room and bathroom are very low but manageable.
You could not stand up in the bath to have a shower.

Our host was very helpful and friendly. We were allowed to do an early check-in and got some information about Bilbao. The breakfast was very rich and delicious.

A good location on the outskirts of Bilbao with large private grounds.
The owners did not respond to our queries about bringing our dogs before we booked. Even though the entire property is listed as pet friendly, after we booked the owner required us to change rooms at an additional cost of Eur 13. On arrival, we also had to pay Eur 10 per dog (forewarned in advance). The room did not appear to be as good as what we originally booked and did not have proper beds. Overall the stay was quite expensive for one night in a single room with a double sofa bed and single sofa bed (total Eur 190).

Great quiet location with wonderful views. Conveniently located to the airport. Owners were genuinely wonderful, helpful, and friendly.
The property seems a little run down. Electricity and wifi kept going down and everything felt like it could use a fresh update.

Nice rural location close to the funicular train into town. Owner is really nice and helpful. Serves a good breakfast too. We enjoyed our stay.
Loft upstairs felt a bit like staying at a friend's house. Stuffed with unwanted furniture. Bathroom is very low for a 1.9m guy like me. Only having a glass door making it easy to hear other guests talk and open/close doors. Bed sheets were part polyester which is uncomfortable. For the 175 euro a night it was too expensive.

Excellent location high above Bilbao. Peaceful and green and yet just a short drive to the funicular into the city.
Very good breakfast and nice pool to relax in. And a kind and welcoming host
It was extremely hot when we were there and our penthouse apartment at the top was so warm it was hard to sleep. It's probably fine most of the time but in a heatwave a couple of fans would have been helpful.

It was a bit far from Bilbao, I arrived in taxi but the taxi did not drop me off at the location so the owner came and picked me up.

The home was absolutely beautiful, it had strong B&B feels. There was a beautiful old wardrobe in the room. It's not far outside the city and there is plenty of room for parking. If you don't have a car, the funicular is a hilly but beautiful walk of about 20 minutes. The area and walk are both beautifully in nature. If you love the mountains you'll feel at home. Lastly, the host was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely visit again.

The room was big and spacious, the location super peaceful but with good connections to town, a 2 minute drive to the funicular and then you are right near the Guggenheim.
Note that booking.com advertises the room as a suite, with a bedroom AND living room. This is not the case. It is ONE bedroom only, an ensuite with bedroom and bathroom. Our host said that it was not his responsibility what booking.com advertised.

The location, the rustic charm and particularly the host made it a good experience for us.
Overall we enjoyed our one night stay. The room in the loft was large and nicely presented, but the en-suite presented a few challenges if you are over 5ft tall. Possibly one of the other rooms would have been better for me.

The host was extremely attentive. The breakfasts spectacular. Would definitely recommend it.
