2021 Remodel - Condo w/ mountain & partial ocean view - upper balcony
Perché affittare una camera d'albergo con una camera, quando puoi stenderti in 1218 piedi quadrati (esclusi i due balconi). Questo condominio è pulito e confortevole con molti servizi, ma anche molto adatto alle famiglie senza alcuna sensazione di "rottura". Il condominio è stato ristrutturato, includendo nuovi pavimenti in cucina e bagni; Bagno padronale completamente rinnovato. TV a schermo piatto al piano di sotto, camera matrimoniale e seconda camera da letto. Siamo situati in un'unità terminale con molta luce. La camera da letto principale ha un re e la seconda camera ha 2 gemelli. C'è anche un divano letto Queen al piano di sotto e due futon tipo tappetino se preferite.
Abbiamo anche WIFI nel condominio.
Questo ampio condominio completamente arredato e confortevole si trova nel cuore di Avalon. È in città nascosto tra le colline su un terreno pianeggiante, quindi è facile camminare ovunque. È solo un breve blocco di livello 3 a piedi dalla spiaggia (questi sono blocchi di Avalon quindi sono brevi). A differenza di molti degli hotel di Avalon, questo condominio si trova in un quartiere tranquillo. Anche a breve distanza a piedi da:

Quando non sei impegnato a nuotare nella spiaggia di Avalon (il beach club di Descanso è anche una bella alternativa e ha acqua cristallina), puoi goderti il nuoto in una delle poche piscine / spa dell'isola. Credo che ci siano solo 6 piscine sull'isola e quella di Bahia Vista è eccellente. Ha anche una spa riscaldata tutto l'anno per il vostro divertimento. Nessuno degli hotel in città ha una piscina.
Se scegli di non cucinare, Avalon ha molti fantastici ristoranti tra cui scegliere. Se stai cenando con i bambini, consiglio vivamente Antonio (puoi gettare le tue conchiglie di arachidi sul pavimento). Se è la colazione che desideri, Original Jack's è sempre affidabile. Per un'esperienza culinaria più raffinata, prova la nuova griglia Avalon. E il nuovo ristorante sulla riva, il grill Avalon Bluewater.

Our adult kids stayed here during our family vacation to Avalon. It was clean, neat and the entire process was easy and enjoyable. The pool is beautiful and the condo is so close to everything. Will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was clean for a rental and had everything our family of 5 needed. The location is great, close enough to everything yet just outside enough to be nice and quiet. The property manager Allison was so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

The condo was well-appointed and comfortable. It is within walking distance of most restaurants and some shopping. Catalina is a walking city, so be prepared to walk. This is a two-story condo with stairs to reach the living area, bathroom, and bedrooms. The good part is there aren't a lot of stairs, and it all helps with the views on both balconies. Enjoy!

This place exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely lovely. Clean, a great location, and close to everything! The host was by far the best host I have ever encountered and whenever I visit again this will be my go to place. Thank you for the amazing stay!

We had an amazing weekend in Catalina!! The condo was absolutely beautiful and fully stocked to meet our needs (family of 5). The AC was a MAJOR plus! I don’t think we could have survived the weekend without it. The wagon and beach accessories were a life saver. The condo is just a few blocks away from the beach/main strip. The only downfall was not having a golf cart like other rentals offered (I am recovering from a knee replacement so it was hard on me), however I would choose an AC over a golf cart all over again. Lastly, the host Alison communicated well. We definitely plan to return.

Plenty of room to spread out. Everything that you need to make a meal on-site. Close walk to the waterfront. The wagon with beach chairs and umbrellas were a very helpful feature. Looking forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was so happy to find the stairway to street below that made walk uphill so much easier. The condo was just what we wanted and more and the view was beautiful.

The property was in a great location just off main road. Quiet, very clean, kept up very well and stocked. Beds were comfortable (and my son said the couch was ridiculously comfortable :).
Only issue we had was the the communication concerning Checkin. I had to bother the owner who sent me to on island management. We were not contacted on check in until after we had called and texted the property manager. We had already arrived on island and just over an hour or so before we were supposed to be checking in.
Once we got into the property everything was smooth.

We came to Catalina Island for a couple of nights & so appreciated the customer service during our stay. We were able to check in early & with ease. Check out was super easy as well. We were comfortable & enjoyed the views from the balconies. We had an amazing time!

Amazing condo, so spacious (husband, myself and our 3 kids (ages 18, 20, and 26). Super large balconies (2) and plenty of room for everyone. Lots of extra blankets and pillows in the cupboards. Kitchen helped us save money by cooking breakfast and making sandwiches for lunches - well stocked with toaster, Keurig, blender, dishwasher, pots & pans. Location is great - close to walk to the main strip but far enough away to be quiet. Easy check in and communication with host. Overall a great stay!!

I stayed here with a few friends for the Catalina Half Marathon and we loved this place and its location. The condo is spacious, it has multiple beds and balconies with a stocked kitchen. The location is tucked away in a quiet corner of town yet walkable to everything that you want to see and do in Avalon. It's a great condo with a super friendly host as well. Thanks!

This property was perfect for our family’s getaway weekend. It was clean, had tons of towels and all the amenities we needed. It was 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 teenagers.

We absolutely loved our stay here! My husband, father in law, 15 month old son and I stayed here for 4 nights in early September. The unit is huge! And very recently renovated with beautiful furnishings. There was a portable AC in the main living space and both bedrooms, which kept it very pleasant and cool. The view from the upstairs balcony is extraordinary! Can see the ocean and Casino with nice sunsets. The bathroom in the primary suite was large enough to put the pack and play for my son, so he got his own “room” as well. He slept very well even in a brand new place! Of note, both the complex and apartment are not ADA friendly. Tons of stairs. Allison the property manager was very easy to contact and she allowed us an early check-in and late check-out! Amazing! Overall, we would 100% stay here again!

Super convenient location. Super clean and well stocked. Our only issue was that we did not have electricity to one of the two bedrooms, luckily there were only four of us and plenty of space downstairs for two of our party to sleep comfortably. Definitely will come back.

LOVE IT!
We truly enjoyed our stay at this condo! This is our 2nd time staying at this condo. We rented this condo again because it is so spacious and feels like home. The condo provided all of the items needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is spacious and have the cooking essentials needed. We cooked most of the time at the condo and so it saves $$$. The two level balconies are a plus and the perfect land and partial ocean VIEW from the 2nd balcony is so worth it. The two bathrooms are nice and have towels and other essential items like toilet papers and hand soap. The living space is everything. The sectional couch is so comfy. My big boys loved the couch the most! There is a flat screen tv in each of the two rooms upstairs. One of the other best thing about this condo is that it is close by the Von supermarket, beach and pier. It's literally an easy 5 to 10 minute walk away. The property manager, Allison was very nice, professional and helpful. We met her daughter and another lady the day we were checking out. They were there to clean and were so nice and helpful. We tried to call for a cab but couldn't get one. We were a bit behind and needed to get to the dock station ASAP. I believe, the cleaning lady's name is Sharon. She was so helpful and said that she can just help take our luggages for us on her golf cart as it might take a while for a cab to come. She really didn't have to but she did that to help us out. We had so many luggages and she went above and beyond to help us get them all in and took them to the dock for us. We highly recommend this condo and would definitely rent again in the future. We also appreciate the flexibility and communication from the property owner, Jay. Jay responded quicky and answered all of our questions prior to our vist. Thank you to this wonderful team. They truly made our stay on Catalina Island AMAZING. :)

Birthday Girls Weekend.
We were so pleased with this property for our weekend celebration. The condo had all the amenities we could possibly need. So enjoyed both levels of terrace, for drinking coffee in the morning and a celebratory toast in the evening. The location gave us quick access to all of Avalon and the ferry as well.

Great Stay!
This rental was a great stay! I was contacted a couple days prior and they accommodated our check ins based on our boat arrival and departure. I would highly recommend. The rental was modern had a great view and was not far from the main city center.

Best VRBO Stay Ever
This experience was awesome! The location ideal - easy walking to everything (downtown, Vons, public transportation) - but quiet. The unit was perfect for 2 couples. All updated, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and pantry basics - especially appreciated since we love to cook. The view from the upstairs deck is to die for. Also note that the collapsible wagon made available was a life saver getting groceries back from the store and luggage to the dock. Big shout out to Allison, the property manager. She went the extra mile to be flexible to our schedule and bailed us out personally when we had some ‘user error’ operating the TV. Overall highly rated experience! One caveat regarding the unit that some negotiation of stairs is required, so please consider if you have mobility issues.

Great accommodation!
Property was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and newly renovated. Kitchen was well equipped. Location is about 8-10 min walk from Catalina Express ferry, 15 min walk to Descanso Beach Club. We walked to most places but it is fun to rent a golf cart to check out the look out points.
FYI: Both bathrooms and bedrooms are upstairs. There are 2 flights of stairs (about 5-6 steps each) so this may be difficult for people with mobility difficulties. My grandmother has difficulty with walking but we managed ok.
We requested late check out time and the host was very accommodating. Communication with property manager Allison was excellent.
Over all, my family and I had a wonderful stay here, and would recommend this property.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend with some friends and family, host was so nice and helpful. Very accommodating and easily reachable for any questions. The place was very clean and the top bedroom had an awesome view!

Roomy, adorable condo
Really enjoyed staying at this condo. Roomy, clean, updated. As advertised. Pictures are an accurate reflection of the place. The kitchen was fully stocked. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. Even chairs to take down to the beach area! The condo is in the walking area of Avalon but on the outer edge, so very quiet. Only thing to note is that the pool was being repaired and was unavailable. This wasn't an issue for us, as we were there for just a few days. Just something to ask about if it matters for your visit. Loved staying here.

Quality, pleasant, peaceful property.
From pre- check in to post checkout Allison made our stay comfortable and easy. The property is spacious and well- equipped. The location was in easy reach of shops and restaurants . The Vons supermarket is only a few minutes walk away. The town of Avalon has lots of activities for all ages. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
