Really awesome experience for our family and other than a few minor problems could not have had a better time. Loved the house and pool and easy access to the beach.

Loved our stay here in Marathon! Perfect location, quiet street, close to beach. Everything was exactly as pictured. We loved everything about it! Highly recommend!

The property is not new. It is wonderfully situated near Sombrero Beach and we were there for the July 4th parade and fireworks. The fireworks were SPECTACULAR! Very fun to be there on July 4 week. Definitely would do it all again. No ants/pests, etc. Clean overall for sure. Door locks could use some more info in the house book Esp how to get out of the house without setting off the door alarm.

Had a great time at 39 Treasure. The location and amenities were as good as if not better than expected. With the pool, kayaks, and walking path it was the perfect setting. The kitchen was stocked with everything (cookware) we needed to grill our fresh catch and cook in several nights. Proximity to grocery store and restaurants was excellent. Only regret is not being able to see the fireworks at Sombrero Beach (our booking ended before Independence Day). Also, the owner was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating.

In our three weeks here on Treasure Road, we found nothing but perfection in this beautiful home. You can't be in a better location, a Mike from the noisy busy Overseas Hwy, a 5 minute walk to Sombrero Beach, the best beach and park in the Keys, quiet, residential neighborhood with renters and year-round people, young and old. Bike Trail on Sombrero Beach Road to several neighborhoods for riding, and the bike trail on the Overseas Hwy. Publix, Walgreens and other stores within a mile. Being in the middle of Marathon, great restaurants are in both directions - nearby. The house is modern, renovated, comfortable and bery well equipped. The pool is huge and heated to 82° with a surrounding patio with lounges table and chairs under an umbrella, and grill. We enjoyed beraakfast, lunch and dinner poolside with a view of the canal and the ocean behind. Yes, the canal provides direct quick access to the ocean, the beach and the river for kayakers. We went all the way to Boot Key Harbor for lunch at The Dockside. Two kayaks are provided and launching is easy and safe. We can't imagine staying anywhere else after our wonderful stay this spring.

This was our 4th time renting this house and we have already rented it again for next year. The house is clean and well maintained. The pool is also very nice.

I took my 18 year old son and two of his friends down for his graduation present. It did not disappoint. The house is very nice and comfy. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was awesome. The location is very convenient. A block from Sombrero Beach and a 5 minute drive to shopping. We even had a manatee come visit. I would recommend.

Simply amazing. This was the third year in a row that we stayed here and we have already booked it again for next year.

It was quiet, private and great access to the beach. Everything worked. It is just a nice place to read books enjoy the sun and swim.

The environmental system is very intuitive and keeps the home very comfortable irregardless of the outside conditions. We particularly enjoyed the pool area. It has ample spacing with very nice table and chairs. The pool itself was maintained at a very comfortable temperature and was sparkling clean. We did use both of the kayaks. One was in excellent condition and the other was good but had an issue with the seat which we were able to manage. The owner and property manager were very responsive to any questions or concerns. I have stayed at several VRBO locations and this one certainly ranks up among the best.

Perfect for family of 4, heated pool great feature, easy access to beach, restaurants, attractions.

Our family of five had an incredible stay at this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable and welcome. There was plenty of room. The house is decorated beautifully and had many thoughtful items we could use, such as beach chairs. towels, sand toys, and coolers. There were a few items not in the house when we got there like laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, or extra trash bags, but we were happy to leave some behind for the next guests. The pool is amazing. Our kids were in there constantly- even in the rain! We experienced our first tropical storm/category 1 hurricane during our stay. Ilene and the proper manager, Katie, were so helpful. They made sure we knew about the impending weather and what to do to prepare. We also had some sun during our stay, but even with some cloudy days in there too, there was still plenty to do around Marathon and other nearby islands. We are so grateful for the fabulous memories we will cherish forever. Thank you, Ilene!

The grown kids loved exploring with the kayaks. The beach is very near. We spent lots of time attempting to fish in the canal, but had very little success. The master bed and bath are perfect. The kitchen is awesome. The queen bedroom with attached bath has a bed that's hard as a rock, and the bed in the room without a bath squeaks at the tiniest movement. We ended up putting that mattress on the floor. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends. The lack of stairs getting into the house is a big plus!

The house was great and surprised To the upside relative to the pictures. However service and communication with property manager were poor. Cleaning people arrived on Saturday and told us we had to leave despite our reservation until Sunday. The house had two bath towels for six people and initially one and a half rolls of toilet paper for 2.5 bathrooms. Property manager eventually brought more, but it took 36 hours of communication.

We've been traveling to the Keys for three years, and this was the first time we rented a house outside of Key Colony Beach, which was a bit of a gamble because we enjoyed KCB and the convenience of the Cabana Club. However, we were not disappointed! We loved so much about this house - room for the five of us to spread out, privacy (we never saw anyone from the backyard), our own large pool, kayaks, fishing in the canal, and an incredibly well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed having Sombrero Beach right around the corner and more than once my husband and one of our kids would kayak to the beach and I'd drive over with our gear and we'd snorkel and enjoy playing on the beach together. We saw lots of tarpon, sharks, and a manatee along with some tiny little fish that loved to kiss our legs and hang close while we sat in the shallows. Masks were required everywhere we went but could be removed when we sat at tables to eat dinner. Most restaurants were open with sometimes limited seating and menus, but we had no problems finding our favorites were still available with the exception of one (Steak and Lobster House). After a long day of deep sea fishing, my husband cooked up our catches and had no problem given the ample space, gas stove, and tools available. The beds slept great and were really comfortable. My daughter was a little freaked on night one since her room didn't have blinds inside on the windows until she realized they were on the outside of the windows. Lizards abound as well as birds as the area surrounding the canal offered a sanctuary for them. We enjoyed visits from a large iguana many times to the pool as well as crabs. Overall, a fantastic trip to a gorgeous house in our favorite place to vacation. Thanks, Ilene!!!

We loved this beautiful home, from the comfortable bedrooms to the awesome pool that provides a perfect spot to view sunsets on Sombrero Beach. It’s a short walk or kayak ride to the beach and wonderful restaurants with great food are everywhere. Truly a vacation in paradise!

We have been coming to the Keys for years and this was the nicest property, quietest neighborhood , in the closest proximity to the beach we have found. Beautiful home and pool/patio area was so relaxing we rebooked for next year already :-). Thank you Ilene for sharing your wonderful home with us we are truly grateful!

This was are second time staying at this house and we've already rented it again for next year. The house is perfect for our family. Everything is nice and clean. The location is perfect.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was beautiful, the pool was wonderful and the nature/wildlife in the canal was great. We enjoyed bird watching, watching the manatees and watching Iggy the iguana. The beach is within walking distance. The sunsets were amazing. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

We have come to Marathon, in January, for the last 12 years. We found this property to be conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. We spent more time at this property than we ever did at the previous one. The pool was inviting and the four of us got better tans than ever before. We should have spent more time on the beach, but had more privacy at the house. Everything on the property was clean and inviting.

We stayed here as a group of 6 adults. There was more than enough room for all of us to hang out inside and outside. There are 2.5 baths so one of the couples had to use our bathroom to shower every day. It wasn’t a big deal for us but something to consider. The pool was great- a little cold for December but I believe you can pay extra for it to be heated. The door battery was dead upon our arrival so we couldn’t get in after a long day of travel. I called the property manager and she was there within 5 minutes to let us in. Wow! Later we also discovered the hot water in the house wasn’t working. Someone came by to fix that right away too. Wonderful service! We were able to catch some fish off the dock and we left a couple more fishing poles and tackle in the pool house for future guests. There are also several pool floats and enough towels for all six of us for showers and swimming. The house is at the end of a quiet canal so you really do feel like you’re completely alone out there. I could go on and on about everything we loved about the house but the location, cleanliness and privacy say it all!

First of all, Marathon is the perfect middle ground if you're wanting to explore The Keys. I would recommend this house 100 times over. It was immaculate when we first walked in. Everything you need for a great trip is already there. We had 6 adults and a 10 year old and it never felt crowded. The owner is extremely nice and answered any questions we had, even the dumb ones 😊�. We watched the sunset almost every night from the kayaks or walked down to Sombrero Beach. My whole family is already planning next year!

Interior was perfect, everything you need! My favorite location for Sombrero beach. Exterior pool deck needed some attention, pool not filtering. Would love to visit again.

The stay at Marathon key was the center piece of our vacation. This is a great house in a quiet, convenient location. Near a Publix store and a Walgreens, as well as walking distance from Sombrero breach, this house was located down a quiet road with good privacy. The pool and patio are very nice. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting to explore the Keys but have a quiet place to retire to.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The newly renovated house was perfect for the 6 of us and three generations. The pool was steps outside the door with an adorable mosaic on the pool floor. Our daughters loved reading in the hammock next to the canal and we loved lounging by the pool. The kitchen was a great size and had everything we needed. We often took evening walks/bike rides to Sombrero Beach, but took the car when we went for the day.

Simply can't beat the location of this home. Short walk/drive to the beach, Publix, and just about anywhere you want to explore in the keys. We went to Bahia Honda State Park and Key West a few times during our stay. My kids LOVED swimming in the pool and playing board games in the living room. The breakfast bar was my favorite spot to drink coffee in the morning. The kitchen had everything you could want in a vacation home. We looked for the land crabs, iguanas, lizards, hermit crabs and anything else we could find during our stay. Just the perfect home for a relaxing trip in the beautiful Florida Keys. Will definitely love to stay here again on a future visit.

This was our first trip to the keys and loved every minute of it. The house was clean and updated. The pool was very enjoyable after a long day at the beach and fishing. Ilene was a great host and would recommend this house for a very enjoyable time.

Great vacation home! Pictures are accurate - it’s clean and spacious. The house is walking distance to Sombrero Beach and a few short miles from a grocery store and restaurants. The pool house has everything you need for an afternoon at the beach or in the backyard pool - floats, cooler, beach chairs, pool floats, fishing rods, and more. The canal the home is located on was being dredged while we were there. Ilene kept us updated and did what she could to accommodate us during the process. You may want to ask if the dredging is over before booking this summer. There’s heavy machinery and a terrible smell involved!

The home is ideally located very close to the beach. It has a nice backyard with lounge chairs, table for eating, tea tables, hammock, bbq and an awesome pool. Inside everything is very clean and tidy. Kitchen has all required dishes and utensils and high quality appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and well done. There is lots of towels, linens, high chairs and cribs (we stayed with 6 ppl and a 9 month old ). The pool shed also had all sorts of water toys and inflatables for babies and kids. Would recommend 100%! It was a great stay for me and my family!

When we arrived, the property was in perfect condition and looked exactly as advertised. Stepping inside, we were welcomed by the AC and a beautifully renovated home. The house was very clean and tidy and much larger than I expected. The bedrooms were a comfortable size even with a large King size bed in the master. The kitchen looked like it was out of a magazine and had all the cookware and utensils we needed to make a family dinner. Large windows and sliding glass doors framed a picturesque view of the sparkling pool and palm trees. Outside was spacious with plenty of different lounging locations. The best part may have been the fact that the house is walkable to Sombrero Beach! Overall, the house was charming and provided a perfect getaway from our busy city life. If you’re looking to have a relaxing, quiet vacation, this place is for you. I highly recommend this home!
