The apartment was as advertised, clean and very cozy. This is the third time staying at this unit. The owners where very nice.

Very close to downtown, rental was the perfect size

I had guests visiting from out of town, and this spot was perfect for them to be able to walk downtown. The apartment was lovely, and had a ton of space. I would definitely recommend it to any guests who come into the area!

Booking, communication, check-in and out - super easy! The owners live on site and were very helpful and friendly. Very nice neighborhood, great walks, quiet at night, lots to see and do nearby. We will be back!

We had a terrific long weekend in grand haven for the sand soccer tournament. The hosts were wonderful and the location was central to everything. The beach was walkable from the house, as an alternative to parking at the state park lots.

My third time at this property and all was good. Clean and well organized. Great location near downtown.

Nicely furnished, comfy beds and fast internet so met our needs. I had not realized there were quite a few steps to access the unit. Overall great place.

If you’re looking for charm and an overall feeling of laidback happiness, Scott and Lisa have this perfect spot for you. The home was built in the late 1800’s which means squeaky , slanted floors and in window A/C unit. But the refurbished bathroom and kitchen were plenty big and worked well.

The property is beautiful and full of unique charm. I stayed with my 4 teenagers and had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen is also very spacious.

This is a nice halfway point between the marina and beach and blocks from the festival (that didn’t happen this summer due to the pandemic).

We had a great time staying at the Happy House and exploring Grand Haven. The space was perfect for a family with kids. We enjoyed biking and hiking the nearby areas. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Made vacation easy!

They offered so many great suggestions of things to do and places to go. The house had all the amenities we could need and was very clean. The Happy House was centrally located. Many places were within walking distance. Cute neighborhood, attentive hosts.

Great location just 10-15 min walk to coffee shops, restaurants and the water front.

The location of this rental is fantastic. Was within walking distance of pretty much anything we wanted to do in town. The unit is clean and the bedrooms were a decent size. One had plenty of storage in the form of shelving and a small closet. The other was a bit larger (we were able to fit a pack and play in the corner) and had a walk in closet. The kitchen was fully stocked with the basics to make meals also including some small appliances and access to a grill outside. The dining area was equipped with a small table for little ones which ours enjoyed. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels,beach towels, and a washer and dryer. There is a stock of beach chairs and umbrellas at the base of the stairs leading to the unit that are first come first serve but available for use. The hosts are fantastic. They live below the unit and if you see them out they are quick to offer recommendations and advice if asked. Very friendly people! We were completely satisfied with our stay and would stay again if in Grand Haven.

My family and I had a great experience renting this unit. The place is exactly as advertised and is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Lisa greeted us upon check-in and gave us some good tips on where to eat and visit in Grand Haven. The location is also perfect. It's just a short walk to the downtown area and a quick drive to the beach and other sites.
