Great location in the old town of Chania. The apartment is modern, clean and cosy and the hosts are very friendly. A great spot to explore the area from. The washing machine was a real bonus. the plunge pool is warm and a great way to relax at the end of the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Aretousa Suites. Communication with the owner in advance was good and she greeted us personally when we arrived, as well as leaving us a lovely bottle of wine and fresh fruit. The apartment itself was fantastic - well equipped, clean and with a lot of nice touches (such as the electric shutters and shower). Unfortunately it wasn’t warm enough for us to use the plunge pool during our stay, but it looked nice and clean. The location was excellent - a quiet area, but right on top of the harbour and easy walking distance to all areas of town.

The location was perfect, and the apartment was incredibly clean. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with everything we needed.

great to have the swimming pool outside - it’s small but nice for a dip to cool down and gets the sun in the morning. comfortable bed and sitting area. great facilities - shower, coffee making, kitchen, even a washing machine! very central location to explore the old town & restaurants.

Fantastic property and facilities. We were offered a transfer from the airport at no extra cost and handed the keys upon arrival. Great location, excellent air conditioning and shower, good WiFi and amazing plunge pool. Can't recommend this highly enough.

This is a fantastic and exception place to stay. The host was helpful and kind, bringing us fresh fluffy towels on our third day. The apartment is ultra modern with an outside terrace and a beautiful plunge pool. It has kitchen facilities and all that goes along with that. There is also a small and comfortable living room. The apartment is also close to EVERYTHING! Overall, if you book this place you will be thanking yourself - you will say 'self' I've made an excellent choice here. It far exceeded our expectations and when we return to Crete we will be doing our best to stay at Aretousa Suites!

Fantastic location in the old town, only minutes from lots of great restaurants and bars.

Only minor drawback was the terrace had no view and didn’t get sun in the afternoon.

Exceptional place to stay! Amazing location, spacious and clean apartment with beautiful courtyard and pool. loved that there was a washing machine also with powder and clothes line provided. Also lovely and quiet despite being in the heart of the old town. Hosts were incredible - happy to help, answer questions, left a bottle of wine and bowl of fruit. couldn’t find a better place to stay.

Bedroom was small but adequate Terrace and plunge pool got limited sun, roughly 11am - 2pm due to walls/buildings but that is better than none.

Coffee filter machine did not seem to work really well

The property is in an amazing location. The Venetian harbour is 2 minutes walk away. There is a supermarket on the corner, and there are so many fantastic restaurants within minutes walk away. The hosts were fantastic and met us to hand over the keys. They also arranged shuttle transport for us from and to the airport. They even let us check out later on our last day as we had a late flight, which was so helpful (I know this wouldnt always be possible. The apartment itself is fantastic, with all shower gel and shampoo fully stocked, Netflix access on the TV, a plunge pool, coffee maker and a bottle of wine on arrival.

The owner and person incharge were very responsive to our requests. Also, we really enjoyed the location. It was quiet and was walking distance to the main attraction.

We had a small issue but it was fixed quickly.

Squeaky bed but other than that, all good! We only stayed 2 nights; for a longer stay this would have been too small for our family of four, but we knew the size so no surprise there!

The plunge pool was great. Fantastic location.
