Great place. Not updated but has all you need. Gross silverware with the plastic handles need to be replaced. They are dirty and gross. We only saw her aware that didn’t have plastic handles. The area is nice. View is amazing. Lots of beaches nearby but none right out front Great food and atmosphere at the Drift Inn. Lots of gluten free options. The bakery is only open on the weekends; has a couple gluten-free options and not a lot of other options but maybe they were just sold out when I got there.

Nice comfy house with the most amazing view. LItterally next store to the tide pools, and ocean views from every window Yachats is a wonderful town with a great bakery, ice cream store, seafood, etc. Very close to some neat coastal sights and hikes.

I stayed for quite awhile. The view is unbeatable, the neighborhood is great, it's the perfect location to walk to town. Peter and Katie are amazing. So helpful and responsive. We always book through Ocean Odyssey.

House not 109% clean. Range plates had dirty tinfoil under them. Recycle bin outside was full and there were cabs lying around it.Otherwise generally ok. Location good. View great.

House was clean and the view was the best. Came to enjoy the beach storms and boy did the weather give us storms. Plus a couple calm days to get out and explore.
The living area was a little dark, it would have been nice to have more/brighter lighting options, but this was easy to overlook because of the view out of the windows that spanned to entire front of the house. The bed in the smaller room was a little soft, but that is our opinion, others may love a softer bed.
Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are in the area.

Planned a trip to Oregon and found this oceanfront last minute. The view is spectacular and the necessities for the stay are in abundance. We walked 2-4 blocks to shop, eat, drink and enjoy a beautiful coastal town. It was perfect for us and we will certainly be back!!

This is an older home that looks a little weather beaten on the outside, but the views from the inside more than make up for it. There are great ocean views from the living room and dining area. We would stay here again just for the views.

My mom and I stayed here for her 80th birthday. She grew up in Yachats. The house is very nice, quiet neighborhood, close to everything and has an incredible view. I would definitely stay here again

View was spectacular, has a trail down to the beach just south of the property. Beach is nearly empty. Within walking distance to "downtown" Yachats. Home was exceptionally clean. Has stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, cooking supplies (pots/pans/tongs/etc). No cooking oil, be sure to bring your own. Also no shampoo/conditioner/lotion. Very quiet. All appliances worked great. Hoping to stay here again soon

This was a great location and was roomier than I expected it would be. It was plenty of room for my husband and I and our two kids (16 and 12). The couch is a pullout and there were plenty of blankets/pillows/bedding. We loved it here

This is a cute little house, had everything we needed, although it is in need of updating. The view was ah-mazing!! Loved the fenced backyard for our fur baby. We’ll definitely stay here again.

This is our fifth stay at Big Sea. We love staying there more than anywhere else in Yachats or anywhere else on the coast. The house has the perfect location for watching and hearing the waves pound the shore, watching all the sea birds and the occasional whale. The location is perfect for walking on the coastal trail and convenient for walking into town.

We loved this house so much! The views were amazing! We felt like we were actually on the ocean your that close. A 5 minute walk to all the stores and restaurants . The fenced off backyard was so nice for our Lab. House had everything we needed.

The view was great but the windows were so dirty it was blurry.... I had to clean the outside so I could see it..... vacation?There was poop on the toilet rim so the rest of the time all I could think of was what else is dirty.....

My BFF & I had a wonderful, relaxed 3 nights at Big Sea! The photos don't do it justice! All reviews rave about the views, but seriously they are amazing! We're fairly low maintenance so didn't use alot. It was nice to have them though. The sink in shower bathroom could use some draino and the sliding glass door needs some help! It's hard to open & close especially for seniors. Otherwise, it's great! Highly recommend!

This is our new "go to" ocean place. You can't beat the view. This time we were lucky enough to spot a whale spouting as they fed. The home is older but well kept up. We appreciate that it has a fully fenced yard for our pups. A small sun room is also helpful when the pups are damp and we don't want them in the main house. Can't wait to come back.

The pictures don't do it justice. It was bigger than we thought and, like everyone else says, WOW THE VIEW! We appreciated the closed yard for our pups and the mud room that kept the sand and rain shoes out of the main areas. Beach access is just right next door down a little path and while it's not much beach, if any, the rocks are abundant! Agate hunters dream home. The house is close to town and the wetland and urban forest areas. Over all an amazing home and an amazing stay.

Looks can be deceiving. From the front of the house, it doesn't look like much, but once you step into the living room, you're treated to a view you can't beat. There were multiple storms while we were visiting, and it was fun to see how the waves crashed against the rocks - much more interesting than a sand beach. The house was perfect for a couple and their dog. WiFi was great - it handled Zoom calls with no problem. The house was somewhat dated but had everything we needed, and we had no complaints. The house was clean, and the bed, couches, and chairs were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean, beds comfortable, and the location was super. Right near the 804 trail for walking. Just a few blocks from the store and great shops & restaurants. This is an amazing location to watch the waves. It was too cold to sit outside on the deck, but we spent time in the large front yard taking photos and using binoculars. The bed in the second bedroom is a double, I think. My son is 6’2” so he took the larger bedroom with the queen bed. The kitchen has lots of dishes & cookware. People have left extra coffee filters.
We’ll be back. This was charming and it was wonderful to sip hot tea on the couch and watch the huge waves from the storms.

Wow. The view was more than I could have even imagined. The windows in this house offer a 180 degree view of waves crashing onto the rocky coast of Yachats, Oregon. We were so close to the Pacific Ocean that If I had thrown a frisbee off the porch it would have landed in the water. The house was clean and comfortable and we had all we needed, but what makes this rental exceptional is the view.

Spectacular ocean views from 3 sides! Perfect for dogs with fenced yards in front and back… the house had everything we needed :) Our adult daughter spent one night with us and she did say the second bedroom was best for a single person or maybe a couple of kids.
Kitchen well equipped - lots of towels in the bathroom - easy walk to downtown Yachats. We will definitely be back!
