Splendida casa di 1.100 piedi con due camere da letto situata nel cuore del Faubourg Marigny, a pochi passi dal quartiere francese e dal Bywater. Questa casa è unica in quanto è una delle prime case di recente costruzione in oltre 100 anni in questo storico quartiere di New Orleans. Non lo sapresti dall'esterno e molti dei grandi dettagli all'interno, ma i moderni comfort delle creature sono un grande vantaggio. Ha anche un vialetto recintato, che offre maggiore sicurezza.
Il quartiere è pieno di reperti. Siamo a quattro isolati dal fiume Mississippi e da Crescent Park, a un isolato da un grande negozio di alimentari e tonnellate di caffetterie, ristoranti autentici e locali notturni. Siamo a pochi passi dal quartiere francese e noleggio biciclette, autobus per spostarsi in città.
La casa è completamente attrezzata per il vostro comfort ed esigenze. Wifi e tv via cavo inclusi.

Beautiful home in quiet Marigny/Bywater neighborhood with what felt like a recent remodeled traditional interior (structurally and interior design). Every detail of interior (floors, paint, decorations, bedding, closets, storage for longer stay, water pressure, etc) taken into consideration so that we immediately felt we could relax and enjoy both the property and immediate surroundings. Security of property (bolted front door, locked gate/with parking spot within cement gardenscape/art reassuring). Views of charming neighborhood street, sunrises/sunsets, and beautifully remodeled red fire station (now a home across the street) from second floor balcony off upstairs bedroom a photographer's dream. The shared wall with neighbors a non-issue. Local grocer (Mardi Gras) and cafe's, bistros, and restaurants top-notch quality yet personable and community-like. We loved it and found it hard to leave. We enjoyed our stay so much at this beautiful home. Cara had left a lot of information of places to eat and plenty of suggestions on things to do. The bed was comfortable but the part we liked the most they have a little private driveway for your car. I also enjoyed the balcony right outside the Master bedroom. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. If we get to come back again we would definitely like to stay here again. Tena & Jeff

This is a really lovely property. Spacious communal areas, plenty of amenities in the kitchen and good sized bedrooms with built in wardrobes. The beds were super comfy too. Decent sized outdoor area which catches a lot of sun. Well stocked supermarket about a 15 minute walk away. The property was no more than a 30 minute walk away from any of the main sights you'd want to see. Great location. The hosts were lovely to deal with and very accommodating of our requests.

We loved staying here. The unit is immaculately clean with all the amenities. A big bonus is the gated parking area. The neighborhood is quiet and residential even though its minutes walk away to Frenchmen street with lots of live music. We would highly recommend the unit for two couples or a family.

Came for a girls' weekend to escape the start of a Midwest Winter -- we had an fantastic stay at Cara's lovely home! From the welcome beverages upon arrival to prompt communication throughout, including recommendations for restaurants and tattoo parlors, our stay felt very special! The home was spacious and comfortable enough for 3, beds comfy, amenities plentiful, and the outdoor space both balcony and courtyard were a delight! The location was excellent we walked everywhere and always felt safe! Highly recommend this property!!

The stay was excellent. The property was as described, and accommodations were wonderful. Would have been 5 stars, except someone was noticeably on the property while we were away from the location. There was no communication from the owner in regards to this so I cannot confirm if someone somehow gained access or if the property owner was just cleaning up after us?

We had a really wonderful stay at Cara’s house. She was super responsive to every question and the house was very clean and comfortable. It’s fully stocked with ample towels etc. and cute Halloween decorations too :)

Property was beautiful. Centrally located to the French Quarter, about a 16 minute walk to the French Quater Farmer's Market, and a 33 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Didn't have to get in touch with the owners while staying there, but communication was very good with them before checking in and prior to checking out. I would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay here again for any future trips! There is a lot to do while in NOLA and you will not be bored at all.

Cara and her husband are outstanding hosts. Home was so charming. Clean and with many extra's. She let me know that the city was having a special restaurant week through a message and was available if a problem did arise - none did. Close to French Quarter - Urber was under 10 dollars - if health conditions did not exist - we could have walked,

From start to finish the home and our experience was top notch! The home is located in a very cool neighborhood with local bars and restaurants scattered here and there. The home was very clean and comfortable. Off street parking was a plus! Frenchman street was walkable as is the Quarter. Excellent stay and very easy check in and checkout. This was a great rental. The parking space with a security gate definitely was appreciated. The walk to Frenchmen’s street and to Bourbon Street were easy and felt safe for our group of 4.
The communication with the owners was great and easy to follow - they even left a snack and some drinks for us to enjoy during our stay.
The house was recently renovated and very clean.
For full awareness there is a train whistle you will occasionally hear throughout the night - but it didn’t bother us or keep us up / wake us up.

I've been coming to New Orleans regularly for about 15 years and I can confirm this is a solid location. While this time I visited with family, I would feel just fine staying here if I was traveling as a solo female.
The real star of the show is the off-street parking! Parking anywhere in New Orleans can be challenging, as there are often permits required or unpredictable rules regarding street cleaning, etc. Parking here was amazingly convenient. Roll in, close the gate, take 5 steps and you're at your door. Couldn't be any easier.
Highly recommend. I will stay here again should the opportunity arise.

This location was fantastic, very walkable and well secured. The property was very tastefully decorated (with fun Halloween touches as well!) and had all of the amenities we could want, including a washer dryer and fridge with ice maker. The host was very communicative and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Faubourg Marigny. We came in from out of the town for a weekend in New Orleans before we headed to our cruise on Monday morning. It was the perfect location to walk to all the town of New Orleans has to offer. If we couldn't walk to it, we hopped on a trolley. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very easy to work with. Definitely will stay here again for our future cruises.

I can not say enough good things about this property and the property managers. The house is in a perfect location in the Marigny neighborhood with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and grocery stores all an easy walk away. The house is in a quiet part of the neighborhood with secure off street parking. Everything was clean, comfortable and just as it appears in the listing. Communication with Scott and Cara was always quick and upbeat. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Will definitely book for our next trip.

Wonderful in so many ways! Easy enough to visit the French Quarter but we especially enjoyed living like the locals in this quiet, residential neighborhood. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was clean, beautiful and well-stocked with all necessities. And the owners were quick to respond to any questions but also considerate of our privacy. Thanks for everything, C and S!
