Loved the property, loved the proximity to restaurants and shopping and loved the beach!

To start I just want to say that the listing was very accurate. It was clean, checking in and out was very simple, and being right off the main road the location was great.
My wife and 4 Children (ages ranging from 3-14) didn't want to leave after our 6 night stay.
The location in proximity to both grocery stores and souvenir shops was very convenient.
The beach was beyond amazing, and getting to and from it couldn't have been easier.
The condo itself had plenty of space for our family to spread out, relax, and have privacy after a long day at the beach.
The full size fridge and kitchen was great allowing us to make meals and eat comfortably in the condo. This was very convenient for our larger family because it prevented us from having to drag our family out when they where already exhausted from a long fun filled day at the beach. It also helped us save money by cutting out the need for eating out.
This condo gives you a home away from home feel with an incredible view.

First of all, everyone we dealt with was amazing and very helpful. This is just a honest review that I wish I would have read before booking. The coffee pot was broken and it was replaced the same day. If you enjoy cooking in the room, be prepared to bring most of the pans and cookware needed included plastic silverware. There were only 6 forks and we didn’t realize until breakfast was done we didn’t have enough. The elevators were horrible. We waited at least 5 minutes every time we used them and up to 15 minutes a couple of times. The space is very limited. Small rooms and living and kitchen area were very tiny. The bunk “room” is a more of a closet with beds. Actually there is no closet space in that room and the top bunk was so wobbly, we were scared to use it. We have always enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the mornings and that was unbearable with the East Sun. There is no way to have shade and enjoy the beach views till the sun has fully risen. The balcony does not completely face the beach, it’s more of a side view. It’s very closed off so you don’t even get a good flow of wind. We felt like we were in an oven. We did walk to shops and restaurants and that was great. This condo is much more suited for a single family.

The condo was beautiful and clean and in a great location. The splash pad was great for the grandkids and was one thing that attracted me to this unit. The pool however had broken steps and really needs to be fixed and updated.

The place was beautiful. There was only two issues with our stay. First we were a group of three families with young kids. Because of the carseats we had three different cars. We were only allowed two car passes. I paid parking in the original payment. I then had to buy another pass and we had to park the third vehicle off site. The second issue is the outside door leaks air and when the wind blows it sounds like a tornado coming through.

The master bath did not have toilet paper but we borrowed from the 2nd bath until we could go to the store. Not sure how to fix, but the wind was definitely howling under the entry door.

We had a fantastic experience at Seawind. We've been vacationing in Gulf Shores for many years so we know how amazing the beach and all of the amenities, restaurants and attractions are. This was the first time we've actually stayed at Seawind but certainly won't be the last. The location is amazing, within walking distance to all sots of souvenir shops, restaurants, mini golf and more. There is a market directly across the street so if you forget any supplies you can grab just about anything you might need quickly and easily. The beach access was amazing and we especially enjoyed the views of the water from the condo. Being an end unit we enjoyed the view of the beach and what I assume is the Intercoastal canal off the balcony. We had two families with eight people total, four adults and four teens/kids and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was in great condition. I read other reviews where people commented on the elevator situation. We were there in September and both elevators were working and we had no issues at all. The management company was very professional, friendly and great with communication. We also thought the value for the money was fantastic. We can't wait to visit again!

Our condo was very clean in a great location. We had 8 people for 3 bedrooms. The condo was an end unit with a great view of the beach. Our only disappointments were the pools. They appeared old, dirty and in need of maintenance.

Annual Trip
Everything at this unit was very nice. Loved having two king size beds. This did not affect our stay at all but, just FYI, the master bath closet door was off track and the cable needs to be hooked up to the master bedroom tv. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location enjoyed our stay
The property was at a great location. Easy to walk to just about anywhere. The building pictured in the listing appeared to be the building next door. The pictured building was a terra cotta color. The building we stayed at was gray. Was a little confusing when arriving into town thinking we were looking for different building. The wait time at the elevators were terrible. Some days one elevator would get stuck on floor 3(not sure what that was about). We would have to get off and walk to ground level in the parking garage with all our beach supplies because the other elevator was too full to get on with our cart and beach supplies. All in all I would say it was a nice place to stay. My biggest complaint would be the elevators.

It was a complete mess.
Waiting time to get on the working one was sometimes an hour.
We had my elderly mother and my 2 grandkids that could not do 8 flights of stairs.

Great condo
We had a great time at Seawind 801. The condo was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. It was so nice to have two rooms with king beds and the bunk room with two full beds. Awesome location too, very close to everything, we were able to walk to most places. Everything about the condo itself was fabulous. We did have issues with some of the amenities though. One elevator was almost always broken, when one was broken there would be two attendants in one elevator (with chairs to sit down in) that took up so much space!! When we didn’t have things to carry we walked up and down the stairs to save time. The hot tub never warmed up, which was a total bummer because it was perfect hot tub weather. The security guards allow public beach access so people who didn’t stay at our condo crowded our beaches with rowdy underage drinkers and people even bringing their dogs!! I also think people who didn’t stay at the condo were using the bathrooms and pool. I asked the security guard about it and he said the grey walkway is for the public. I’m still not certain if that’s true or not. All in all it was a great stay, just some bumps along the way. Anytime I had an issue someone responded very quickly to me- that was much appreciated!!

We had a wonderful time. The local businesses are great and their employees were helpful and very kind. Loved walking on the beach and being able to wake up to the beautiful sunrises. It was perfect. Met allot of fantastic people. Can’t wait to come back

Wonderful experience!
The condo was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and very well equipped. Having beach chairs and an umbrella was such a treat. The condo was close to everything. Over the past 40 years we have always gone to the beach during the summer, so this was our first experience in December. It was amazing and we prefer it so we will start going during this time instead! It was 65-70 degrees (perfect temperature) and we felt like we had our own private beach bc there were so few people around. Loved loved loved. Great experience in the perfect condo!

Great Stay
The unit was as pictured and exactly what we were expecting. It was nice to have a hot tub to use during our visit. Close to everything fun in Gulf Shores. Great selection of chairs, wagon, umbrella, etc for use at the beach!

Girls' Trip
Perfect accommodations for our yaya retreat. Yes, parking spots were tight, but not impossible. Yes, at times, elevators were slow. But neither of those things were anything that would stop us from booking again at this location. The condo itself was beautifully decorated and everything was as shown in pictures. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nicely decorated. The view was beautiful just as described. Fully stocked kitchen which we definitely used. My only suggestion is that you put another hand towel holder in the master bath. One isn't enough. We will definitely stay again!

My Family loved the condo 801 we had a great time
Had no problems when we arrived our room was clean and extra nice. Would rent at Seawind again 801. Only thing I didn't like was the parking and some of the security staff was rude and not friendly at all. Don't think people who is staying at Seawind should have to pay to park there cars. I paid over 60 dollars just to park 2 cars in a very tight spots.

The broken elevator really inconvenienced everyone. We had to pack luggage up 8 flights of stairs. There were members of our party who couldn't climb stairs and so hours were spent waiting for the only working elevator, which was being packed full like sardines (and not alot of masks) other than small things like outlets not working and a broken toilet handle, the views were beautiful and the facility was great!

Perfect for Family vacation!
The property was excellent for families with amenities for everyone. The condo was perfect! The only downside was the property elevators were slow due to volume. Attendants help facilitate that. Parking was extremely hard due to small spaces.

Beautiful condo great location. Grocery store across the street was so helpful. We would come back for sure.Small issue, elevators were very busy and there were only 2 we had to wait 1hr on checkout day to get our luggage to our car.

Lovely Condo
Very quick responses from the owners anytime we needed them before and during our stay. We were able to check in a little bit early which was wonderful. The condo was very clean, beautifully updated, and very comfortable for our family of 8. Thanks for helping make our quick beach trip so nice!

Great location
The until was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. Check in was easy, and it was in a great location. The only problem we encountered was with the elevators. There are only 2 for the entire building, and they were not working properly. Everyone in the building had a difficult time with the elevators.
