We spent 7 days Confortably in the sea grass house.we had 12 people in 8 rooms and everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in. The pool was a great addition for those days we didn't feel like walking the short distance to the beach.the surrounding area was quiet and had everything we needed; from an ice cream shop to the little store next to it and the beach store not too far from there. The grill was handy and plentiful for the whole family. I stayed with my family, my brother and his family with plenty of room at the dinner tables. There was also plenty of entertainment for when we were just lounging aroind from a tv in every room to two tvs in each living room respectively.Overall it was a great experience and the perfect house for our getaway, definitely would recommend and rent again.

The house was in a great location and the swimming pool was very nice for the kids! Plenty of room in the house for a family of 14, but be sure to take extra towels and wash clothes as there is not enough. If you plan on cooking, be sure to take pot holders and dish towels as there are none. There are dishes and cooking utensils but no way to wash them off, dishwasher only. You can also hear everything happening in the house as the voices carry thru the walls, the beds make noise and the floors lets you hear everyones movement! Other than all of that, it was spacious and in a great location. Very convenient beach access, just a short walk from the house. Our family had a great time!

This house was perfect for our family trip. It was close to the ocean, nice location, close to shopping and activities.we really only had one issue, this dishwasher was broken but that was minor for us. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The home was very spacious. The pool was fantastic! The location was perfect, 2 blocks from our favorite Irish pub, Molly Darcy’s. The beds were not the best. They were old and every single one extremely squeaky! You could not roll over or get out of bed without making a lot of noise! The bathrooms had the hard plastic shower liners that gave you a feeling of being unsanitary. I would had preferred clothe ones, where everyone was washed for next people coming in. The bedspreads on the beds needed to be updated, to give a fresher feel to the rooms. But, over it was a great rental

We had a good time but we were really disappointed between the pictures of the house with what we got. The pool is very small. the furniture in the house was very dirty. We had cockroaches/woodroaches or Water bugs that look like Roaches everywhere. We told them about it but noone called us back.

The house was nice. The air conditioner had to be replaced, the hot water heater had to be fixed, the TV’s didn’t work, the sink upstairs was leaking, the dishwasher need to be fixed. But, the maintenance crew was excellent and everything fixed within 1st days. The backyard needs some attention. The website says grill on premises, but VERY small and not cleaned (we didn’t touch ) since the maintenance team was excellent we will be back. Great location near beach, pool small but enough for 3-4 people to enjoy and relax.

Overall great vacation
Great location to beach . Great floor plan for a large group. House needs some repairs & updates . Floor in master and kitchen needs repaired badly. Backyard terrible , rickety fenced in area needs torn down. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning. Pool small but nice! Plenty of cookware and dishes.

Everything we Wanted
Renting this property through VRBO and Owner Direct was very easy. After hours/weekend check-in and check-out was very convenient and easy. The house was as described. The pool was a bit smaller than expected from the pictures, but it was adequate for 3 or 4 people at a time. The walk to the beach was easy and the dairy bar down the street was fabulous! We would definitely stay here again.

3.5 Stars overall- 5 star location- misleading property we feel
The location of this property is great. That and the pool were the ONLY reasons this place is getting what we feel is 3.5 stars. We've stayed at several VRBO's and this place is managed by a separate company- maybe that's where it goes wrong... We are not super-picky travelers. It was our family of 4 (boys ages 2 & 4) and another couple with their 5 year old son. The pool out front was awesome (although smaller). The beds were comfy to sleep on.
HOWEVER- the pictures online need to be updated. There is no couch downstairs. For some reason a second table was in the "living room". The bedrooms are essentially old dining rooms/offices with a bed in them. The floors creaked TERRIBLY as they need to be redone. We found there was no silverware, garbage bags for the bathrooms, dish soap, toiletries of any kind except a small bar of "body soap". There were also no baking sheets and the sink had no garbage disposal- and the ice machine didn't work. We like to cook and this was all very discouraging. The management company did come to give us silverware. They fixed a TV that stopped working but even after the fix a majority of the channels did not work.
Most rental houses these days have those items standard but the management company said they were "starter kits" where you only get towels and linens essentially. They should step up their game. For a management company to charge extra for their fees I was expecting a little more. When most private owners have this ready for travelers when they arrive.
All that being said. We enjoyed the location, the walks to the beach and ice cream shop. Our boys played in the pool and we had a good time. I just felt very misled for paying the price we did to get such poor amenities.
I hope this helps you know what you're getting into prior to booking so you can go prepared.

We had a great time at the Sea Grass house! It was a great setup or our family of 15. The pool was small but very nice. Check in and Check out was simple and quick. If I had any recommendations it would be nice to have a nice grill large enough to accommodate guest size of the house- we didn't use the back patio much since not grilling and the back yard was pretty much just dirt.
Location is great and the company worked well with a rental company for golf carts and equipment for a baby! Beautiful area!

Perfect Vacation
My family and I had a wonderful vacation! The house is simply beautiful. It’s spacious, comfortable and elegantly decorated. It was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. It’s in a great location. Just a short drive to the main strip which has everything, from fine dining to fast food. I am now in love with North Myrtle Beach. The staff at the management company made everything so easy for us. It was very reassuring to know they were there if we needed anything. I have recommended this house to my friends and family and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to all for a great vacation!

Where do I start. Our family, we had a awesome time on our vacation with the help of your beautiful home. I must say the bed in the picture is the most comfortable, I know this because that is where I slept. The house was spacious and everyone that came gave nice compliments on the house.The location has a good view of the beach and while sitting on the front porch you are able to see all the tourists entering on 17th avenue. I was skeptical when I booked the property; however, that feeling disappeared when I turned the key and opened the door and saw such a lovely place. My nieces all raced to to get the best room that would suite their family. Of course it was upstairs where they resided for the week. We called it the pink room, and it was so pretty with comfortable chairs and a view of the beach was just lovely. While we were there the owners' son stopped by and informed us that they may be installing a pool, which was great news to hear, being that they want to stay at this location anytime we vacation at the beach. To top our stay, we rented a golf cart for the week and it really came in handy. So, you can look forward for the Colvins' to stay in contact with VRBO.
