Stayed at Brian's place for my sister's bachelorette party. Everyone had a fantastic time and had great things to say about the space. The backyard was perfect for pool days and outdoor dinners. The kitchen and living room were good hang out areas, and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was clean and comfortable. I'd recommend Brian's place for any large group!

We had a group of four families, 17 people in all, with 10 kids ranging in age from 2-13. This house was perfect for us. Everything in the house was clean, new, and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of cookware, spices, and coffee. There was even a margarita machine!
The hosts live in a house attached to the property, and were exceptionally responsive to all our questions about how to turn on lights, operate the outdoor shower, etc. However, they were un-obtrusive and never interfered. Communications with the host were fast and responsive.
In short, we loved this property and would absolutely come back again!

Can not say enough great things about this house/hosts! Upon arrival the hosts showed us around to ensure we had everything needed for our stay. They even were up every morning to fill up the pool for us which was so appreciated. We had a group of 17 and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The outdoor space in particular was our favorite and we spent most of our time by the pool. The parking situation was great and we didn’t have to worry about finding parking nearby. The house is in a great location to the beach and main strip. Overall can’t recommend this house enough!

This property was perfect for our family. It is a beautiful home! We particularly enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. Location is perfect for beaches, shopping and restaurants. Brian and Lynn were excellent hosts, providing all information in a timely manner. We hope to make a return trip!

We had a wonderful week at Dewey and enjoyed Dodd House very much. Having two separate living spaces was nice as the children often had quiet/play time in the one room and we could be in the other....or enjoying an adult only swim!
Grandpa was very concerned about safety because of the pool and toddlers and we were thrilled to find high door chains on doors leading to the pool. One note of caution and not the owners fault, we had high temps for our stay and the stones around the pool got extremely hot. Having the pool was definitely a high light and it was a perfect size. Having the pool and still able to walk to the beach (10 min) was a big plus. At first we were concerned about crossing Rt 1 but that wasn't an issue.
I had bought a pump for inflatables but from what I read there is one on the property. One of those small details I wish I had known. The entire family, including the baby, loved being in the water.
Kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, etc. and was so nice to have the second fridge! Owners were very nice and communicated quickly with any questions I had.
I don't know what our plans are for next year but we would certainly return to Dodd House!

We absolutely loved the property and all its amenities. It was close enough to everything in Dewey and just a short walk to Rehoboth. The owner was there to answer any questions and checking in and out was a breeze.

We had such a great time at Dodd House! We stayed there for a long weekend for our wedding. Our group of 6 couples had plenty of space. Brian and Lynn were fantastic hosts and so friendly. The house was super clean, in a great location and just overall a very fun place. Would absolutely stay again and recommend for groups of friends or families!

Brian & Lynn were awesome hosts. They responded quickly and were friendly and accommodating before and during the trip. The house had tons of room and was very clean upon check-in. The walk to the main area of Dewey was only about 10 minutes - great location. Would recommend for any large group.

I held my bachelorette weekend at the Dodd House and it was an unforgettable weekend! The owners of the Dodd house are so kind and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had around 15 girls stay at the house and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is in a great location, very close to bars, restaurants, and the beach. We loved our stay and will hopefully be rebooking with them in the future!

Great choice for our extended family vacation. Between beach, shopping, DE bay cruise, boardwalk, water sports and more, we all had a great time. Plenty of room for our kids and grandkids. Pool and hot tub got a lot of use. Fully fenced in pool area and grass side yard made it easy to take our two dogs. Lynn and Brian were welcoming and attentive hosts.

My family, a group of 12 of us ranging in age from 1-75, all had a great time at the Dodd house. The location was perfect and quiet. Everyone enjoyed the pool and backyard. There was plenty of space for everyone throughout the house. The only hiccup was we were unable to unlock the door when we arrived, but the host responded immediately and let us in. Overall we all had a wonderful week at this property and made some great memories. Thank you.

We were a group of 17 returned Peace Corps volunteers needing a fairly large house. We chose Rehoboth Beach due to access of beach and hiking. We made a good decision to rent the Dodd House. Walking distance to the beach, plenty of bed space, a nice hot tub and fire pit for cooler evenings, enclosed patio with a small lawn area for our dogs, a well equipped kitchen, fast internet, and bluetooth stereo speaker in the outside area. Great hosts made for a very nice stay.

Would absolutely stay here again. The hosts were communicative and genuinely seemed to enjoy hosting people. The house was stocked with everything we needed and slept everyone comfortably. The location was walkable to the bars and safe. Book this place! You won’t regret it.

we had a large bridal party, mostly from out of state (the midwest) and i really wanted us to all be able to stay in one place close to the beach and bars for the long weekend and this was absolutely INCREDIBLE. although the owner lives on site it was never weird or an issue so don’t feel deterred (we still partied, stayed up late and had a great time without ever feeling weird or being reprimanded) it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the starboard which was great, the pool/hot tub backyard area was where we spent the majority of our time the bar in the back is awesome with a fridge out there. the kitchen has dishes and the small things you’ll need to cook meals which was awesome. overall it was an outstanding experience for myself as the bride as well as all of our bridal party. this place is literally a compound, we had all the girls in a wing of the house and the guys in the other it was perfect

We had my sister's bachelorette party here and it was a blast! The house was absolutely perfect! It was exactly as listed, plenty of space for 12 girls. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to bars, restaurants, and the beach was short. Lynn was incredible!!! She was responsive, sent me all of the important information ahead of time, and was there to walk me through the care of the pool/hot tub. Highly recommend this property!!

Wedding Weekend
The house was perfect for a big family get together. The owners made us feel very welcomed. They were very accommodating, especially since we were in and out a lot with wedding festivities. Great location and lots of parking. The pool was delightful and very clean. We couldn’t have asked for any place better.

Wedding Weekend
We got married in Lewes and rented Dodd house for our bridal party, family and friends to stay at. Was absolutely perfect and owners are very helpful and nice. House was even more spacious than anticipated and was the cherry on-top of our perfect weekend.

Great as always
This is our fifth year renting this property for our annual event and as usual it was great. Parking is slightly limited for the number of beds listed but the owner came out and helped us find parking spots. The owners are very communicative and accommodating.

Amazing home
We loved our stay! We had a large group for a bachelorette weekend and the home had plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed games at the kitchen table and hanging out in the hot tub. The owners were super friendly and helpful anytime we contacted them. It was a perfect weekend!

Beautiful, fun home, great location!
Everything was just perfect for our brief Thanksgiving getaway with our large family. Brian and Lynn are wonderful hosts and communicated everything we needed to make our stay in their home comfortable and fun. The house is well-organized, clean and spacious. The hot tub was a great bonus for the chilly November evenings, as was the lovely gas fireplace in the kitchen/den area. The house is just a short walk to the beach, and located within walking distance or short drive between Rohoboth and Dewey.

Dewey in October
This property is fantastic for a larger grouping looking to have a beach getaway, whether during the summer, or off season! There are plenty of beds and spaced out in a good layout. Short walk to the beach and local shops, but also a short drive from whatever you need! Would love to stay here again.

Amazing Stay
I came to Lynn and Brian's house for my bachelorette party and we couldn't have had a better time. Lynn was there to check us in and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire weekend. She even shipped me back some clothes that were left in the dryer. We loved the backyard with the pool/hotub so much we ended up spending more time there than out in dewey. Truly an amazing weekend, and I would highly recommend this house to any large group!!

Outstanding Experience
We rented this beautiful home for a small wedding (family only), and we had such a magical experience here! Every detail was perfect. Communication with Brian and Lynne was excellent at every step of our planning process, and they were immediately available and helpful to us with when we had a minor issue with getting our device connected to the outdoor speakers (it was our device that was the problem). This is a memory that our family will cherish forever, and we have all talked about planning to request a reservation here again! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home, Lynne and Brian! Family Fun
Wonderful week with family, friends, and pets! Hosts were attentive to our needs and always promptly replied to our questions. The location is perfect for visiting downtown Dewey, going to the fishing beaches, and biking the surrounding neighborhoods. The house, pool, and hot tub provided a comfortable and enjoyable place for us to begin and end our days. Our stay at Dodd House was one for the books!

A wonderful vacation
The week our 4-generational family spent at the Dodd St house was the best in years. The sunny house, room layout, indoor and outdoor spaces, pool and proximity to the beach were perfect for our variety of personalities and schedules. The hosts Lynn and Brian were outstanding, going above and beyond in every way from welcoming touches to considerate farewell and everything in between. This is a magical place, thank you!!

Wonderful Family Vacation
The house is great. Comfy beds. Lots of room. We had fun in the large yard with corn hole games, Pool basketball. Swimming. Loved the hot tub. The beach people liked the short walk to the beach. There were a few glitches, but Lynn and Paul took care of them right away.

Amazing!!!
The house was perfect for our group of 19 for a bachelorette party. The owners were very responsive and everything went extremely smooth. I have no complaints at all. The house is spacious and was very clean. The backyard is huge. We loved hanging out by the pool and bar area out there. There are multiple fridges which was very convenient. The location of the house is perfect. The beach, and local bars/restaurants are in walking distance. I highly recommend this house, I will definitely be back in the future :)

We had such a nice time at the Dodd house! The house has plenty of room. Each bedroom has a clean bag of linens for the bed and a dirty bag for when you leave. The house has normal wear and tear. The hot tub and fire pit are great! They even have outdoor speakers so you can relax or dance outside. So fun!! The owners are very responsive and helpful. The beach is a short walk. 10 minute walk to The Starboard and brewery nearby. Get an orange crush and stay here!!

This house is large and if you are traveling with a bunch of people it a great house. For the price though, even in the off season, it is not a luxury property. The sleeping spaces are not equal in quality. The main part of the house is very lovely and has normal bedrooms, the secondary part has beds everywhere. If you are splitting costs, keep this in mind. The house is very worn (signs that windows don’t open, not to unplug things, holes where pictures were, caulk in tub was turning black, etc). The mattresses also left something to be desired. Attention to detail was missing (one bag of sheets had no pillow cases, one had no bottom sheet, dishes and glassware didn’t match, no winter quilts on bed). We had a lot of technical difficulties (heat didn’t work in one part of the house, hot water wasn’t consistent, hot tub wasn’t at the correct temp). The owners were very responsive though to solving issues. Overall we had a great time and the house is in a great location. There were board games and a great living room space. We got a lot of use out of the backyard even though it was cold.

Incredible, beautiful, private, and accommodating!
Brian and Lynn have hands down the most incredible property in Dewey Beach for large groups! They were communicative, generous, and extremely accommodating not only during our entire stay, but the days leading up. The backyard is beautiful, and the home is spacious and sparkling clean. Would definitely stay again!
