La nostra casa sulla spiaggia è una proprietà privata, aggiornata schierandosi sul Rathtrevor Provincial Park con una grande vista libera della spiaggia. Siamo a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e da Rathtrevor. La marea si spande quasi per tutta la profondità della baia e offre un grande parco giochi per bambini, giovani e meno giovani, e un luogo ideale per tutti coloro che vogliono girare e godersi il paesaggio locale. Dopo cena, non dimenticarti di tornare in spiaggia e goderti un po 'di marshmallow tostato nelle pozze antincendio sul lungomare.
Quando hai bisogno di un'altra diversione, per bambini piccoli e bambini grandi, ci sono 2 grandi campi da minigolf a tema proprio sulla strada e un parco acquatico a Parksville. Per i bambini veramente grandi, l'area di Parksville è conosciuta per i suoi impressionanti campi da golf. L'area offre anche percorsi per escursioni a piedi e in mountain bike. E non perderti il famoso mercato di Coombs.

Excellent Location. Very close to the water, and at beach level. We would definitely stay here again.

First off, I just want to highlight Peter as a spectacular host. Communication was excellent and Peter was very generous in helping solve an issue during our stay (not related to him or the apartment). The place is well-stocked with kitchenware and comfortable furniture and everything works well. The views from the front windows and both decks are spectacular, and the upper deck has sun for most of the day. The Tanglewood complex is quiet and restful. Next door Rathtrevor Beach Park wasn't busy during our visit (late March) but it looks likely to host a lot of visitors in summer. However, the beach is big (especially at low tide) and there are many restaurants and other amenities in nearby Parksville to keep everyone occupied. Locally, we really liked the nearby Black Goose Pub. There are also several other provincial parks nearby that we enjoyed visiting — Cathedral Grove (avoid in high season), Spider Lake, and Englishman River Falls.

Being right next to Rathtrevor Beach and trails makes this the ideal location for us. The weather was amazing and there were still loads of campers and people enjoying what the park has to offer, so it was wonderful to be able to step out of the condo door to walk the trails early in the morning. This clean condo is very well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The condo binder held a wealth of information about the functioning of TV and BBQ, as well as info about the area. Thanks again to Peter and his team for a most relaxing stay.

The condo space was roomy and comfortable for our family of four (two kids 11 & 12). Great views over the ocean, lots of linens, kitchen was well equipped for everything you need. Living room was a great place for all of us to chill when there was a downpour outside. Great spot right on Rathtrevor beach, and great easy trails right next door in the provincial park.

The second floor condo was very close to the beach. The beach is very easy to walk on and as well the park is right there for easier walking.

This condo is spacious with an incredible ocean view, large kitchen, and cozy living room. The pictures on the website do not reflect how nicely laid out the unit really is. The host was amazing and we appreciate all of our communications with him, as well as a special kudos to the housekeeper for the cleanliness.

Our adult family of four stayed at this beautiful property over the Christmas holidays, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's a great location, backing onto the beach, and the condo was quiet and close to amenities in Parksville. The suite was roomy yet cozy, with a lovely fireplace, clean, well-stocked kitchen, laundry room, jacuzzi tub and shower, and lots of extra linens. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was attentive and easy to contact. We hope to stay here again soon!

This property was well appointed, quiet, and spacious. The location is right on the beach with Rathtrevor Park adjacent. Our host was easy to communicate with, and the level of information provided about the unit was extremely thorough. We would stay here again.

This is a beautifully situated property with glorious views of the ocean and the park. The property is well maintained and has everything you could possibly need. The host is very friendly and easy to deal with. It is literally steps to the beach and park, and has a cosy gas fire for those stormy days! We highly recommend it, you, like us, will love it!

A friend and I stayed at the property, we were pleased to each have our own bedroom with comfortable beds. The view is lovely, as it was rainy we enjoyed the comfortable living room furniture that enabled us to sit and read with the fireplace on and to look out at the view. Parking was ideally situated right under the suite. The suite was very quiet and had all the amenities that we required.

Spectacular unobstructied views of the Straight of Georgia, beautiful flat, easy to walk on beach (when the tide is out) only 100 yards from condo, thousands of birds to admire, borders on Rathtrevor provincial park. Beautiful spacious, fully equipped condo. Our only negative was the pillows (foam chipped) and the mattress was a little too firm.

Such an enjoyable property. Very clean and well appointed with nice towels, comfortable beds, and a good selection of pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. It was so nice to have the full kitchen and be able to cook meals. The upper deck has fantastic views of the ocean and Rathtrevor park, with a great table and comfortable furniture. The unit is part of a fourplex, but seems very private. There was a family of 6 in the unit next to us and we never even knew they were there until we met them on the beach.
The road into the property is shady and beautiful and gives the property the feeling of being in a gated community. There is easy access to the beach. Upon arriving, the tide was out, and we were able to walk 2.4 kilometres to the edge of the ocean.
A couple of evenings, we had a fire by the beach in one of the firepits and enjoyed visiting with some of the other people staying in the vicinity - many of whom have been coming to Tanglewood for decades.
I would recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet getaway near the ocean. My wife and I are hoping to be able to book the property again next summer.
