Location to Parksville. The ocean view The spa was nice
Disappointed at the restaurant. Menu hard to read. My dinner the vegetables were hard as in not even el dente. The rice pilaf was tasteless and dry. It was like they had it sitting out for awhile

The spa and grotto was wonderful. Our room was clean but tired and ready for updates.
I booked a two queen bed room and got a room with one queen bed and a Murphy bed. Although comfortable it was not what I expected.

The staff was very nice and made our 26th anniversary ❤ very special for us.
Massage therapists were amazing, front desk staff were great and the Cedar Lounge servers were fantastic.
No Prime Rib on the menu 😢

We would have rated the facilities a 10 except the pool and hot tub were closed one of the days we were there.

It is family friendly. There is a pool with hot tub and sauna. Good location with plenty of parking space. Walking distance to the beach. Generally clean.

Wifi is kinda slow or not working, but I understand it’s close to the ocean and forest so maybe signal was bad.

The location, the view from the balcony was magnificent. The room and bed were so great and comfortable.
There was a hissing sound in the washroom from the pipe or maybe the tank filling up that kept us up the first night. We were too tuckered out to notice it 2nd night, but it was there. This is the only thing stopping me from giving the resort 10/10, otherwise it has been such a great stay.

spa with the charcutiers was wonderful
first room very noisy couldn't sleep, got moved as we requested which was better. Beds were much to small and hard though. Wifi was very poor kept cutting in and out.

We had a great little vacation and our trip to the Grotto Spa was fabulous.
I would highly recommend Tigh-Na-Mara Resort to anyone visiting Parksville.

beautiful location can’t be beat. due to the weather (very cold and lots of snow) we could not enjoy outdoor activities
understaffed. had to wait 2.5 hours past check in time for our room to be ready. way way too many people waiting in the long checkin line fir the size of the space (ie not at all Covid physical distance safe). 20+minute wait in check in line. noisy room that night and then we were woken up at 8:15 am by housekeeping staff making a huge amount of noise in the next unit. sounded like they banged every possible object.
