Friendly staff, great location, mini golf, great pillows, and bedding. Popcorn and coffee etc etc
Light at desk was weak and chair would not raise. Bathroom is small—-suggest a small shelf above toilet. Place was super clean and would definitely stay again.

The staff were great, excellent customer service. The lobby is nice and the added touch of popcorn on arrival is really nice. There was an issue with our first room and when we let them know, they upgraded and switched us instead. That was something we really appreciated. The bonus free activities next door like the mini golf and games were great. Good location, convenient, and ample parking.
The inn is definitely an older one and some aspects have been kept well while others haven't. The biggest issue was cleanliness. For this price range, I expect a certain cleanliness level and it was not there. Our first room smelled like sewage and then it was changed. The second room didn't have any smells but wasn't very clean. The bathtub tiles were moldy, the high touch surfaces like the light switches were grimey, the nightstand, mirror cubby, TV stand were dusty and hadn't been wiped down and had marks on the table from previous guests that hadn't been cleaned. Some of the towels were not clean and had stains. It made the stay uncomfortable and I am glad we were only staying one night. Cleanliness is a quick fix so I hope they improve this aspect.

The nighttime desk person greeted me happily despite the lateness of the night.
I was expecting a little nicer, newer for the price. It was comfortable.. shower curtain was 3 inches or more short so I Ayer as all over floor. A little musty so I had to shut off air conditioning so particulate doesn’t blow around. Couch looked old and dirty wasn’t inviting.

I was given a room upgrade. The staff were excellent. The room was clean and value for money. Good location.
Too bad the weather was not co-operating so the lovely patio could be enjoyed.

An incredible surprise that we were given a free round of mini golf for staying at the inn as well as us getting a free upgrade for our room (Queen to king)
The only thing I really noticed was the gunk on the shower head, was a little off putting at first but didn’t really make a difference. But everything else in the bathroom was well cleaned! Easy fix!

The host/hostess at the Tide's Inn are superb. Very welcoming. Always a pleasure to see them again.

Nothing to report here. Tide's Inn is our favourite place to stay in Parksville.

Complimentary upgrade, staff contact after check in to ensure room was acceptable (it was), location couldn't be better. All in all, great value. Staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Bathroom sink drain could use some attention, it was slow to drain.

Staff tried hard to make balcony and stairs safe after a heavy snowfall
Noise from people outside in the middle of the night. Also the room backing ours had loud voices until 12 pm
