Big Timber Cabin was an outstanding place to call home for 4 nights while our group of 7 visited Yellowstone Park. The location was convenient to get to and from the park in about 30-40 minutes.
The home itself is just as pictured and described and even more beautiful in person. There is so much ample space for everyone to move around.
We enjoyed gathering around the table for some family dinners and the kitchen and grill are
Well equipped to do this. We also enjoyed a campfire in the backyard one evening. Christi is extremely responsive and helpful for all questions and suggestions. Our family loved this home!

The house was spacious and very comfortable for 11 of us. There was plenty of everything in the kitchen from plates, pots, spices etc. Much more than most rentals. It was very clean. There was a lot to do in the evening, check out in the description.. shuffleboard ,ping pong firepit ect. We had a great time after spending the day in Yellowstone. Everything about this property wonderful. Horseback riding is only one mile away. We rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon on the lake. If you have a free day it is worth doing. This also was very close by. We would definitely stay there again even though it was a bit of a drive to Yellowstone. It is a great home for a big group.

The place was beautiful. It was big enough to accommodate our family. Check in was easy and the instructions were simple. The host was really good about responding in a timely manner and easy to converse with. Our family had a great time and we appreciate everything the Spinners had available. Thank you!!

There were 25 family members gathering in this home for a family reunion. We added on the apartment to accommodate everyone. It was a nice home. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable, especially in the apartment. Also, please be aware that the home is listed as having air conditioning and it does not. It does have ceiling fans that helped, but it does not have central air.

Great place to stay. Pretty much had everything we needed. The boys had a great time with the shuffleboard game in the garage. That’s a very unique game, not everyone has one of those.🤗
I think the only drawback for me was that we had to wash and put away any towels we used which I feel like that’s why we pay a cleaning fee. We mostly all just brought our own. But it was a beautiful place to just get away from life and enjoy family! Thank you to the

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very accommodating and had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the games in the garage for the young teens in our group. The loft was perfect for the older teens of our group. The host was quick to communicate with questions we had during our stay. I Would recommend this house for your next group vacation.

This property is fantastic. Plenty of room for our large group to spread out and also gather for meals, games, and hanging out. The location and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. The house has everything needed so you feel like you’re at home and can just sit back and relax. This is a top notch property and you will not be disappointed with your stay. Clean and bright. Everything needed on hand. Kayaks for play in nearby reservoir at restricted access docks, bicycles, video games, yard games, fire-pit, and hot tub provided activities for entire group. Great gathering.

We had a great time! The spacious kitchen area, number of bathrooms, hot tub, garage space, and yard were great. The weather was not ideal at our mid-June event, but no one complained because the house had plenty of room for all of us.

The Spinners made our families special trip to Yellowstone a success. From the moment we booked, they were so very accommodating by sharing what to expect, gave tips on things to do nearby, and stayed proactive in communication all through out our holiday. They are very kind and generous hosts and the accommodation was even better than listed! Our family had 17 total and at no time during the holiday did we ever feel cramped or run out of amenities/things to do in their amazing home. The location was perfect, close enough to the west park entrance, but far enough away we didn’t deal with all the people. The kids loved all the backyard games and how close we were to the lake. Highly recommended this home to anyone looking in the West Yellowstone area and wants the to find the perfect balance of convenience and quiet.

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, with family and friends at the Timber Inn. The home was clean and very well furnished. Beautiful setting with lots of wildlife and activities nearby. Would definitely love to return in the future.

We chose this home because of its beautiful views and space but the accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The host was so helpful, courteous and quickly responded to my messages. Christi made sure check-in and check-out was simple and easy. We were all really impressed how well equipped this house was; they had everything we needed to never have to leave. It was the perfect setting for our family’s getaway and we will most definitely be planning to return.

This is a great house with plenty of space for 16-18 people. Recently spent 9 nights at the property as I and 21 friends explored Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks. It's a great base camp for both parks and offers good amenities for the price point. Some of the descriptions on the listing are inaccurate, such as bed sizes, but I chalk that up to the owners just listing it for the first time on VRBO when we booked and they may not have been familiar with the interface and what may be default settings on the site. The owners were communicative, responsive, and ever so helpful before and during our stay! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place for a large extended family, two or three smaller nuclear families, or adult only groups - church groups, hiking clubs, etc. as it has plenty of space and its reasonably priced for the quality of the stay.

We had a wonderful time in Island Park, ID. The accommodations were perfect for our eclectic group of seniors, 40 somethings, and tweens! Never a dull moment around the house between the lawn activities, table games, and reservoir. Days spent exploring Yellowstone Park (only 30 miles away) or ATV'ing around Island Park or just cooking for the family in the fully equipped, spacious, modern kitchen. The separate apartment above the garage was perfect for the dog lovers in the family. Seniors loved the 1st floor in the main house. And the hot tub was enjoyed by all - a great end to long days with extended summer sunsets. Would do it all again!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The house is well appointed and has everything you need! The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils and pans you will need. The outdoor grill was put to great use too!
We took advantage of using all the games; volleyball, teatherball, horseshoes, Cornhole , as well as the bicycles!
We had 14 people staying and everyone had a bed to sleep in most had a bedroom. We did rent the rooms over the garage as well which was a nice addition!
The neighborhood is beautiful with a view of the mountains and nearby lake. There is a fire pit in the backyard that we enjoyed one night with everyone having smores 😊
There is also a small beach within the community that you are able to access and enjoy usage of the lake.
The drive to Yellowstone is easy and only about a 30-40 minute drive. If you are planning on a trip to Yellowstone the crowds are already building! I would recommend going very early in the morning or later in the day around 2-3pm. Traffic was at a standstill near the most popular attractions. Parking at the different viewing areas is very limited, so the lines to get into the parking lots were sometimes 30 minutes long. I am assuming that will only get worse as the season progresses.
The good news is this is an awesome retreat to come back too after a long day at the park!
Would definitely recommend staying here! We will be back!!

Family "snow" vacation
We were very pleased with every interaction with Christi, we had steady communication pre, during, and post stay at the cabin. We had folks coming from across the US to those of us living within 3.5 hours of the cabin and everyone loved the time we were there. We were faced with highway 20 being closed and Christi assisted us in negotiating the issues of the highway being closed make our visit as stress free as possible with difficulties with weather. We highly recommend staying at the cabin!

We loved this cabin! It had everything we needed and then some!
We loved all the rooms, play spaces, large kitchen table for our nightly games, the fire pit in the backyard, lots of room to park our vehicles and two trailers, the cabin decor, and so much more! It was just right for 18 of us! The quick drive to west Yellowstone was nice and so close to the rental place for our RZR day. Thanks for making it feel like home!

Great Family Vacation Spot
Loved this home. It is so well maintained, looked recently remodeled, and very clean. All is updated and well stocked with all that would ever be needed.
Large, big open kitchen and family room with plenty of room for our large family of older children to babies. Great play room and bunk room for the cousins to enjoy, and lots of fun very large bears and animals for them to cuddle with. We also loved that there was lawn around the house as many other houses had only weeds. Evenings with little ones running around out there, and bigger ones playing games or around the fire pit was the perfect way to end the day.
Manager/owner was easy to communicate with and so very pleasant. Enjoyed every minute there - perfect Island Park place for fun as well as comfort! Thanks!!!

The accommodations were perfect for our group. I do feel that the price was higher than other places. With the additional guest fees and service fee, and the stay tax, the amount per night was $810 for 19 people. But we enjoyed being all together so that was good.

Incredibly spacious and still cozy
We had a group of 20 people and the cabin was perfect. Plenty of beds to sleep in, plenty of space, and it is beautifully decorated as well. I definitely see us booking here again and recommending all our friends if they are ever looking for a great place to stay for winter fun.

Family Fun Home! Perfect for little Reunions!
My Brothers and parents stayed with us for New Years Eve there , and it was so much fun. Owners left the Christmas tree up for us and it was so inviting. I love the layout of this home. There is areas for everyone. It is in an L shape, so the bedrooms are away from the living area for those who want to rest or go to bed early and be away from the noise of the family. The up-stairs was so fun for the younger kids to play games, pool and there was a TV they sang Karaoke on(we brought the machine). The kids room (with the slanted ceiling) area was great for all the kids to. They could have their own area to hang out and have some privacy.
It is close to trails, just up the street from the grocery store & our kids played in the snow on the golf course. This home is my Island Park favorite for the space, location and it was clean with many up-dates. I will book this home every time I come to Island Park!

Great Property for large family or group get togethers!
Our group of 18 (10 adults 8 children) found this home to be very accommodating for our needs, kitchen is well stocked with all necessities, plenty of hot water when everyone needs to shower at the same time, more than adequate sleeping arrangements, and lots of open space for spreading out. Board games galore for the youngsters and older folks as well, & Satellite tv so you don't miss your "must watch" programs. Overall this is a great place to stay for your visit to Yellowstone or fishing in the Henry's lake area of Island Park. The owners are great to work with and very helpful when challenges did arise. We may do this again in the summer just to check out the ATV trails. Oh by the way, Yellowstone in the fall was amazing!!

A wonderful place for a family trip!!
We can say enough great things about our stay! It accommodated our whole family, from grandparents to seven kids under 5 years old! The kitchen allowed for great family dinners, and it was well stocked with cooking utensils. The kids loved the playroom and backyard, plus there is a playground in the neighborhood. Here you are not too far from West Yellowstone and the National Park! I would strongly recommend staying here for a family vacation! You can have a relaxing get away or be busy visiting the National Park!
