The condo was inviting, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space. If we return to west Maui, we will stay here again. The property is beautiful. We went snorkeling almost every day either on site or up to 15 minutes away. The recommendations were great. Dina sent emails with relevant information and helpful tips for our stay. We ended up at the local market almost every day and ate at Fond and Joey’s kitchen multiple times during our stay. The ability to cook on site saved a lot of money, we shopped local as much as possible though that one Costco trip was helpful in the beginning. Thank you for having us!

You’ll have everything you need for a great vacation . Quality furnishings and a very well maintained complex that is close to shopping and jumping off points for tours . Dina was very helpful with advice and recommendations. Nice pool and grounds . There were five of us (Four staying at the condo). Excellent kitchen to save some on eating out. Thanks again .

It’s the best place. No packing up to go to a sandy beach. It’s right on property along with a pool and hot tub. Bbq area. Lounge chairs. Beautiful ocean views. Owner are great too.

We loved everything about our stay! The condo is beautiful, with a gorgeous kitchen that has everything you could need. Easy to walk to the pool, which was the perfect size. The beach is amazing with beautiful views of the ocean and sunset. We really appreciated the air conditioning., it would have been pretty warm without it. We will definitely be coming back.

Well, first I'd like to say thank you to Dina and her husband for all the attention they've given me and my family. I could write a book about all the good things in the apartment, but I'll pay more attention to one special one. Sunset from the master room is a sensational image... Waking up to the sound of the waves and the singing of birds is wonderful. Do not hesitate to rent this apartment to enjoy your vacation. If you find availability at the property, don't hesitate, rent it before it's too late. I will return soon.🏝️🙏

Great Condo, Fantastic Location
The condo was super and well laid out for our family of 5. Great communication and help from the owner and resort service staff were very friendly. The resort is a beautiful sanctuary that you could either never leave or use as a base while exploring the island. If we can make it this far again (from the U.K.) we’ll be back!

A Piece of Paradise
We were more pleased with our week at Kahana Sunset. My son, daughter, and three grandchildren ( 6, 8, and 16) stayed in E8 and immediately fell in love with it. They certainly appreciated the clean and comfortable accommodations, but ocean views, a private beach, and the laid back atmosphere will definitely bring them back. My oldest child and his family stayed in the E building as well, and another daughter stayed with my husband and me closer to the ocean Kahana Sunset was the perfect setting for our family of 13 to visit, swim, explore, share meals, and make memories in our first trip to Hawaii We have truly found our Piece of Paradise at Kahana Sunset. Complex was decorated very nice for Christmas. This is a very nice condo and the owner is great, lots of good info on what to do here, places to eat, ect.

Kahana Sunset
The property owner was excellent to work with. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the kitchen utensils you need. Spacious lanai with table and chairs and the grounds are beautiful. Would love to come back!

Exactly what we needed
This property fit our family's need for a week in Maui. Communication with Dina was quick and very helpful. She accommodated a late request for a late check-out too. Some areas in the condo had clearly not been cleaned in a while (under the bed, which I only saw because I dropped my phone charger). That said, overall the unit was exactly as described. You should know that the private beach attached to the property is very small. It doesn't accommodate chairs and sand play, as tide came in most of the way. However, we were able to get our feet wet, which was nice.
Also, the pool is not heated. It's great during the day but chilly after sundown. And just an FYI, there's no hot tub on the property. Overall I would certainly recommend this property.

Beautiful Kahana Sunset
The condo was clean and exceptionally comfortable. The resort property is lovely. Dina, the hostess, sent recommendations for restaurants, rentals and special activities on Maui. She was in touch regarding our comfort and available for questions at any time during our stay. Diana made it seem like we were renting from a friend rather than through an agency. I highly recommend staying at Kahana Sunset in unit E8 with Dina as hostess.

Loved the condo and location
Fantastic location and property. Dina was just a text away if needed and checked in periodically. Location was great. Minutes away from nearby beaches, restaurants, stores. Furthest drive was into Lahaina about 15 mins away. Condo was comfortable and spacious enough for 4 adults and a 3 year old. The AC was a plus. Views from balcony were AMAZING. We’ll be back!!

Perfect family vacation
We were all thrilled with this condo at Kahana Sunset for our recent family vacation. We are two adults and 3 kids (ages 4-10). We vacationed with some other friends who were able to book another condo at Kahana Sunset. The property is small enough that it was easy to get back and forth to their unit, or better yet meet up at the pool!
The beach was small but gorgeous - same for the pool. Everything was nicer than I expected from the photos.
The AC was a lifesaver for us Seattleites, and we enjoyed the location. We alternated between lazy days at the pool or the beach, and active days exploring the island. All was easy from this great location. The sunsets were the best I've ever seen. We will be back!

Paradise Family Vacation
I was nervous about our first trip to Maui. We’re a family of 5. Picky eaters and teenagers. We all had a wonderful time. The pictures don’t do justice. The property was well maintained and breathtaking. Everything we needed we had. We rented a jeep because this area the restaurants were far. Some were actually walking distance. Dina was fabulous thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time at Kahana Sunset. Dina was very kind and checked in with us to make sure things were up to par. The grounds of the facility were beautiful and well kept. Loved, loved, loved the small beach on the property. We spent many days there sunbathing, looking at the beautiful turtles, and snorkeling. The condo was perfect for a family of 4. My only suggestion would be to have some board/family games. There were beach chairs and towels, which we appreciated and used. Overall, an outstanding stay and would highly recommend!

A slice of Hawaii for the family trip
It is just as listed with no surprises. The property is shared but the small community was pleasant and unobtrusive. On a quiet road you can walk to local places or just stop on a beach or 2. Would recommend, especially for a family of 4.

Amazing location!
This condo was perfect! Great location away from the Kaanapali crowds. Views from the lanai are hard to top. A/C to keep cool. Great snorkel spot with sea turtles. We will be back as soon as possible!

Excellent condo (E8) and location! Nice island decor and the A/C was great. Easy walk to the local Napili Market. Worked directly with Dina (owner) who was great. Lots of traveling, sightseeing, and food tips!

Great condo, great location
The condo was perfect for our family of four. Nicely furnished , good size bedrooms, two bathrooms (important when travelling with teenagers) and A/C kept us very comfortable. Did some cooking in the well equipped kitchen but mainly used the shared BBQ's by the pool. Nice views from deck, especially at sunset. Would definitely stay here again.

All you need in one spot
This property has everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Amazing beach access, pool, and nice grounds. The unit has two wonderful patios to enjoy the view. Condo owner was amazing, with a lot of pre-vacation information and followed up to ensure we were happy. Would come back for sure!

Fabulous stay at Kahana Sunset
Our stay at Kahana Sunset was wonderful! The views are amazing from the TWO decks and the property is very nice and well kept. We have two very young children so access to the beach was very important to us and this location worked out very well. Also, Dina made the whole process very easy from the booking to communication through our stay. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Maui!

Perfect!
Amazing property - perfect for our family of four. The 2 bedrooms and the full 2 bathrooms gave everyone ample space during our 7 night stay on Maui. Heat in Aug was in the low 90s and the A/C was a pure gift. Not a lot of Maui condos have A/C. And for us the kitchen was amazing - great space and everything we needed. Dina was great - answering any questions we had and making the whole process as smooth as can be. The Kahana Sunset property is kept very clean and tidy - and you might just have the entire private beach to yourself like we did some mornings and even some afternoons. And every evening we were blessed with watching a resident sea turtle make its way onto the beach to sleep. Mornings became times for the "turtle check" to see if they were still there. We even saw them swimming around us while we were in the water. Highly recommend this property.

1 week vacation in West Maui
My family and I stayed at this condo for a week as our home base for exploring West, Central, and South Maui. Worked out great- easy parking in front of the condo, driving distances to all our destinations were all within about an hour (and typically going against traffic!), and the central A/C was a must as it was hot and humid outside. We were provided with beach towels, which we used daily as we took advantage of the beach at the condo complex, as well as the pool. Views from the upstairs master balcony and the downstairs living room balcony were of the ocean and Moloka'i. Bedrooms were comfortable, both bathrooms had a separate rooms for the shower/toilet. Used the washer/dryer during our stay and they worked great. All in all a very nice place to stay. Would recommend.

Everything about our trip was incredible! We absolutely love Kahana Sunset and found unit E8 to be even better than the unit we stayed in last year! Dina is an incredible owner and regularly communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. She provided recommendations and tips that made our vacation that much more perfect! The condo has an excellent view of the ocean and the beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling on clear days. We saw more turtles on our beach than any of the other beaches we visited! We love the pool and the beautifully maintained, tropical grounds. We will most definitely be back!

Amazing property!
Dina went above and beyond to make sure our stay in her condo was going great during our stay there. Sending personal recommendations and checking in throughout the week really shows she genuinely cares about her vacation tenants. The condo was clean and fully stocked. We cooked breakfast, lunches, and dinners daily and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. View was absolutely amazing especially from the master balcony. Air conditioning was a life saver! We had family a couple condos down from us without AC and we immediately felt so guilty because our living quarters were much more comfortable(vacationed in June). Close access to the pool and beach. Favorite part of the trip was snorkeling daily at the private beach!! Do not spend money on a snorkel tour, we saw an array of fish and turtles daily. Unbelievable host and trip and would definitely recommend!!!! Thanks Dina!!

A little piece of paradise indeed
Dina was great from the beginning, making sending us recommendations in advance of her favorite Maui spots and also a list of items helpful to bring to her condo. The place itself is delightful, excellent for our small family of 4 and in a location with a very special beachfront and close to many other great places to swim, eat, and bask in the sun. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful condo away from the crowds
This was our first time to Hawaii and we loved Kahana Sunset. It is close enough to drive 10 min into Kaanapali or Lahaina but far away enough from the crowds. The condo was clean and comfortable for a family of 5. We loved having our own beach for the kids to boogie board and have fun! My only small critique is they need a larger coffee pot! It is teeny! When you have 4 that drink coffee a little 2 cup doesn’t cut it! Lol! But other than that minor detail, it was wonderful and we would stay there again!

Beautiful Ocean View Condo!
This was our first trip to Maui, it was wonderful! The condo was so well equipped, we felt so at home there and plan to go back next year. The owner was very nice, and provided a lot of information for places to eat and things to do on Maui. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great place to stay on island
We really enjoyed our stay in E8 this year. The added AC helped on few nights when trade winds were not blowing. Condo located next to pool, BBQ and steps from beach. Nice having parking right next to condo as our relatives didn’t have this luxury in other units on Kahana Sunset. Dina was also very helpful and punctual in answering any questions we had. Condo stocked with all amenities needed for Maui. We will definitely stay here again in the years to come. Thanks for opening up your home to us. The Kokx Family
