We had a great stay. The house perfect. There was something for everyone. We had a small hiccup with the fridge. They went above and beyond to remedy the problem. They kept us in the loop the whole time. I would definitely stay here again.

My niece got married in Ak. I took my 2 kids, their spouses, sister and her kids. The house could not have been any better! I was large, clean , on the Kenai River and in a great location! Would highly recommend for any large groups

Our large extended family age 4 yr to 67 years loved this beautiful home. Lots of space to spread out. Despite the rainy weather we had a great time by the fire pit. The kitchen has everything to do with cooking you could ask for. The home was clean and well kept. As a frequent VRBO user for many years this has been my favorite. We hope to come back again. Also for anyone who needs something to do during the rain my adult kids tell me the shop has excellent acustics.

The view was incredible! Caught many salmon from the fantastic fishing platform. We saw eagles nearly everyday and owls in the evening. The house was extremely comfortable with every amenity provided. There was plenty of room for our family and the location was perfect. We have made so many family memories. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for hosting us!!

The house is well appointed and directly on the Kenai. We had plenty of room to spread out. The house has an outdoor cleaning station and a large freezer if you’re coming for the fishing. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful home and attentive owner.

This was a fantastic place for our group of 10 adults. The fisherpeople in our family loved catching salmon right off the private platform! The large, extremely well-equpped kitchen came in handy as we prepared the fresh-caught fish for dinner. Multiple large gathering spaces as well as smaller private spaces made it ideal for our group of siblings and spouses. Seeing several moose durining our stay was an added bonus!

This is a great home for a family. Homeowner was easy to deal with and close to town for necessities. The pool table was a nice bonus and the view was amazing.

Janine and Mike’s home on the Kenai River is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious and comfortable with room for large families or friends. The bathrooms are renovated and the beds are comfortable. Fishing from the dock was awesome! Seriously, you won’t find a nicer place to stay on the Kenai.

This place was AMAZING and PERFECT for our family! We have a large group - three generations from 7 to 75 - and it worked out so well! Enough space for everyone to get away, yet areas to be together. Top of the line kitchen and accessories helped save money by eating in. Everything was clean and welcoming! Highly recommend!

The pictures and other reviews do not do this place justice. Everything about it was amazing. It is warm and inviting. We had 10 people staying there and it was never crowded. There is every possible kitchen amenity you could need. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are all beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious with so much storage space. There is plenty of seating inside and out. The location is seemingly remote but it’s a very short drive to town. It is just perfect. The view is icing on the cake. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and we certainly hope to return someday.

We loved our stay. House was gorgeous. Lots of rooms. Game room, bar area. Beautiful bathrooms. Great bedroom in garage. Host was excellent. Great and fast communication. Very accommodating for our requests. Kitchen was large enough for a family of 10. Quite setting. Had a mother and baby moose sleep next to the house. Perfect distance from town. Centrally located between Homer, Cooper Landing and Seward. Would definitely recommend this house. We will use this house again. Thanks to the Carly family.

This home was a perfect fit for our large group with ages ranging from 2 to 80 years old. Ample parking for three cars with room to spare in the driveway. Absolutely surreal how close you are to the river! Large space to spend time together as a family in the dining and living rooms. Home is also large enough to spread out and get peace and quiet when needed. This house is an absolute gem. Hope to stay here again soon!

This property was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. Bathrooms seemed very recently remodeled. Very spacious inside and out. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The only drawback was the number of cameras surrounding the property that were on during our entire stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wedding to attend in Soldotna and needed a place for 4 couples. This house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was excellent and the house was beautiful. I highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the Soldotna area. Thanks Brian Ardolf.

I don't even know where to begin... We have a family of 11...and we needed something that could accommodate adults and children well . Flash forward to this lovely slice of heaven. The minute we set foot in the house, we knew it was the perfect choice. First, the view of the Kenai River was spectacular. The house was gorgeous and huge. There was a giant downstairs which worked perfectly as a playroom for the kiddos. The kitchen was huge, and we were able to successfully prepare meals and sit down at the giant table in the dining room. There is an option to fish down by the river...but mostly - having coffee down by the river was a really nice way to wake up and unwind. The house was spacious, had lots of bathrooms (this is important with so many children and adults), the location was perfect - 10 minutes from everything we needed to do, and the fire pit was a hit! S'mores for everyone! Mike and Janine were fabulous host, their response time to questions, was quick and efficient. Check out was the easiest I have ever experience with a VRBO. Honestly, if you do not snag this property up when you travel with your family, you are missing out. It was worth every penny to have us all in one location, and the house is suited perfectly for large groups. This will always be our go to when we travel to Soldotna again. My wife and I got to stay here for 5 nights and had an absolute blast. Fishing all day and coming back to relax at night. We spent our evenings allowing our 2 yr old to run around the basement while playing Nintendo with our older sons. Mornings with cooking breakfast sipping coffee enjoying the river views! Would 10/10 rebook again.

This house on the Kenai River was everything we dreamed! The neighborhood was quiet, the River provided an unbelievable setting for our Alaskan experience! From the host to all of the other contacts during our stay, all provided a very helpful and professional experience regarding all of our questions and needs! If we ever go back to the same area in AK, we would definitely consider the same hosts, same house, same everything! If your looking for the perfect Alaskan experience this is the place! Mike and Janine are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful place which is well maintained. The fishing off the dock was excellent. We also enjoyed the daily visit from the neighborhood moose.

We only had 3 nights at this beautiful house unfortunately, but the days we were there was awesome. We had some in our group that fished and some shot pool and some that just relaxed and took in the view. It was perfect for our group! Everyone got to do what they wanted without leaving the property. The house is beautiful and right on the river, worth every penny! We hope to return again soon. Once you find a gem like this your goal is to get back there. Thanks again to the owners for sharing their beautiful home!

Amazing Vacation House. Lots of space. Amazing access to the river. For our needs the property was centrally located, 2 hours 2 Homer, 2 Hours to Seward. 2 hours to Alyeska. 15-20 minutes to a couple breweries.

We loved this place. It was spacious & beautiful with everything we needed for our family of 10. We would gladly give it 10 stars.
