An amazing stay in a great location! Everything was perfect, very clean, wonderful decor, easily accessible to the beach, the perfect place for a family. The grandkids loved having a pool to dip into after a day in the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals. The beds were comfy, and my grandsons loved the bunk beds! There were beach accessories available to use as well. Dale was super accommodating, and his response to any questions I had was always very quick. Just a wonderful and safe place!

This house was perfect for Spring Break 24! House was spotless. Everything you need was provided. Beautifully decorated. Teens enjoyed having their “own area” on the first floor with games, mini kitchen with full size fridge. We paid for the pool heat and it was well worth it as some days in April are a bit chilly. The homeowners are extremely helpful and responsive. I would stay here again and highly recommend this property!

Dale made the entire process from booking to check-out absolutely seamless! The house is perfectly situated directly across the street from beach access. Very clean, with all the comforts of home. Our family enjoyed people watching from the balcony when not on the beach or in the pool. The designated chairs on the beach were a nice surprise!

We were very impressed with the property especially the location to the beach access. We had everything we could possibly need and plenty of room for the entire extended family. We absolutely loved this house. We always stay right on the beach and were afraid because we were across the street. Honestly, I did not mind it one bit. The only problem we encountered was that every time we used the oven the smoke alarm went off. But I will recommend this house over and over again.

Perfect spot
This house is right across from the beach which was awesome! It also included 2 chairs and an umbrella set up everyday of the trip on the beach. Had a perfect size pool for the kids to have fun in when not at the beach. Also, right next door to a coffee shop and pizza place.

Destin Vaca
Great, large house in a good location. It’s in the “center of it all” so you are close to the beach and close to some stores ect. With that, the main road gets busy, but the pool area is nicely fenced in and the business makes for some good people watching. Nice house in a nice area. Would stay again.

Absolute Perfection
I am not sure where to even begin…. This has been the BEST experience. We typically rent beach houses anywhere from 5-6 times/year and we all agree- this is best ever!

Literally everything was a dream.
My teenagers loved biking and being able to walk or bike to shops, ice cream, coffee, and several great restaurants
My 5 year old loved the pool and the bunk beds
We also had my brothers 3 month old infant and it was ideal right by the beach (literally steps) to bring her in and out.
Even my mother loved everything about it.
We all had plenty to do and our own space as well as perfect places to have family meals and game night.
We will 100% rent again and recommend.

Great location if you're looking to be right in the mix! The balconies provide endless hours of people watching. House was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed that there was separate living areas where people could escape to read, watch TV or nap besides bedrooms.

Family Vacation
We loved Neptune’s Nook! We’ve been vacationing in Destin for many years and this property was the nicest we’ve ever stayed at. The size was perfect for our group of 12. We spent most of our days on the beach which is right across the street from the house. It was an easy walk to and from the beach and we could easily walk back to the house if we needed anything. The kids enjoyed the heated pool, which was great after a long day at the beach. The location is perfect and very close to everything you need. The house is well maintained and clean. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in the home and are were accommodating with any of our needs. Also, I have never stayed at a property where beach service with two chairs and an umbrella was included. This is something I’ve always had to pay extra for so we really appreciate this amenity. I definitely recommend this house for anyone vacationing with a large group.

Great location!!
Our family and some extended family stayed here for a wedding event being held on the beach. The house was clean and spacious. The kids enjoyed the pool and would rather have stayed there than the beach. The location was great as it was across the street from private peach access and having chairs at the beach every day was amazing!! My favorite place to go was bad ass coffee!! The line was sooo worth it! I would definitely recommend this place for a great family vacation! Thanks Dale

Better than the pictures
Neptune’s Nook was better than expected! Upon arrival, we found the property to be clean and beautifully decorated! It also felt much bigger in person! We slept 8 adults, 1 teen, 1child, and two toddlers very comfortably with room to spare. With three seating areas, everyone had a place to go, but could also be together all at one time. The kitchen furnishings accommodated all of our cooking needs as we cooked and ate at the home for every meal. We were all able to eat at the dining table combined with the bar seating for every meal as well! Two fridges allowed us to store more items more efficiently and with more convenience. The home sits in a prime location in the neighborhood. Being the corner house, you can walk out of the door, across the crosswalk and arrive at the beach access in less than a minute. Alvins Island, Dairy Queen, a gas station and a coffee shop are also within short walking distance. The property has its own outdoor shower as well, so if you don’t get to use the shower at the beach access or need to wash off more, you can in the courtyard of the home. We also did not suffer from any excessive noise from the street outside at night. The home remained quiet during sleeping hours. We were able to park a large truck and 3 smaller vehicles without a problem. Check in and check out was a breeze, we had no need to call the owners for anything!
Future guests should consider the amount of stairs (three floors) the property has before booking. We had grandparents with bad knees with us, and although we tried to accommodate them as best we could, some stairs were just unavoidable. Also, like most beach access, their was also a good amount of stairs down to the beach. I am not reviewing this fact as a negative, more as a tip for families carrying people who have trouble with stairs. Our grandparents were very pleased with the home and want to stay here again in spite of all the stairs, but it is something to consider. Also, no tents are allowed on the beach. Umbrellas are permitted.
Overall we hope to stay at this property again! We had a great time on vacation!

Couples Beach Getaway to Miramar
This house was a perfect beach getaway for a group of four couples. The location was great with convenient beach access directly across the street. . The outdoor space was very inviting. Even though it was in the middle of everything, the landscaping made it feel secluded. There were a couple different areas of outside seating and a small splash pool to enjoy. It also has its own outdoor shower which is very convenient. We were able to park three vehicles diagonally on the drive. Each of the four couples had their own space In a queen bedroom and bathroom. There is also a living space on each of the three floors which was nice for relaxation. The house was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. The air conditioning kept us very comfortable in the 90+ temps. All appliances were in working order. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owner was very responsive and quick to reply to any questions. We would definitely rent Neptune’s Nook again and highly recommend rental.

Quick visit
I traveled with my wife and 6 teens from 13 to 19.
The house has plenty of room and lots to do, games, dozens of movies, 4 bikes and a small pool.
Of course, the house is right across from the beach so the main attraction is 3 minutes or about 50 steps away!
The interior of the house is nicely decorated with granite countertops and fresh paint.
Along with its beach location, there is a nice coffee shop, a dairy queen and a pizza place within a block.
My only request would be to have more dishwasher pods!

Love this place
This house was truly amazing for our family! Have had so many bad experiences with homes not being what they appear but Neptune’s Nook was all and more of what it states! Highly recommend this property and the location is wonderful for walking distance to many areas and literally walk across the street and through the gate and you are on the beach in seconds!! Our family of 6 adults and 4 children aged 11months to 6 years old made so many memories here in a week that will last a lifetime! We defiantly look forward to returning to Neptune’s Nook in the future! 💙

Wonderful Vacation - June 2018
We have stayed at Neptune's Nook several times and it has been perfect each time. This property is as close and convenient to the beach that you can get without paying beach front prices. The owner is incredibly responsive and can imagine he would be helpful if any issues arose, but we have not had any. However, he has kept in contact each time, checking in to see if everything is ok, so I am sure he would be on-the-spot to address any possible issues.
The house comfortably sleeps our two families (4 adults, 4 children ages 3-6) with much room to spare. We had an empty bedroom on the ground floor that we did not need to use. There are plenty of games, movies, and books at the house to entertain the kids. There are also tons of beach toys to use during your stay. After learning this on our first visit, we were able to greatly reduce our carload on subsequent vacations.
The private outdoor pool and patio are perfect if you have to take breaks from the beach. In our case, it has been nice to not have to be completely away from the sun and water when a kid has to come in to take nap.
As perfect as it is for families, I can see it working just as well and comfortably for groups without children.
I have been coming to the Destin area for over 25 years now and stayed in all types of properties all along the beach - and this one is my clear favorite because of the setup, amenities, price, and location. Cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful week!
Neptunes Nook was a great place to stay! Close to the beach, with a great splash pool for the kids. The house was spacious and very quiet to outside noise. Mr. Brown was so great to work with during the rental process. He was very quick with replies to my questions and made me feel at ease with the rental details. The house was perfect for us !

Great rental to stay in with children. Direct access to the beach from the house. Small pool to cool in after a hot day on the beach. Place to rinse off sandy toes and toys right by the pool. Spacious family space with amazing bunk beds. Great for multiple families. Lots of sand toys so no need to bring any. Small gated in back year to hang wet clothes to day. Dairy Queen in walking distance. Outlets five minutes away. Great sidewalks for walking or running. Overall an amazing stay. We will definitely consider it for future family trips.

What a wonderful vacation. Dale was outstanding to work with on our reservations, made everything so easy. The home and location was PERFECT! Right across the street from the private entry beach, just steps away. We had 3 families with 3 teenage boys and the home was plenty big. The amenities we fantastic, beach service was a bonus that we thoroughly enjoyed. Great location, walking distance to Pompano Joe's and Whale's Tail. The home was equipped with everything one could need and was spotless when we arrived. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will most definitely return!

Love this property. Pool was perfect for the kids and location is beyond fantastic! Had three families one on each floor and each had their own private retreat. Would recommend to anyone who wants beach proximity, right next to restaurants, beach bike rides, pool, and did I say beach proximity.

The House and it's location was amazing. Perfect for a large group as we had 11 with 3 small children so pool was perfect as well as close location to beach (no long truding walks to beach loaded down) The house is in very good shape with everything you need. We have been to destin 4 times and stayed in a home each time but we will not be looking any further. This one is it for us!!!!! Fantastic accomodations, we had a blast while in town. The house is less than 100 yards from the beach. Kids enjoyed the pool and foosball. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a wonderful week in sunny Florida!

Best Vacation Ever!!!
We stayed at Neptune's Nook for our daughter's graduation trip in May. I can't say enough great things about this house!! It is even better that the pictures and words can describe. The house was furnished with everything we could have possibly needed. This is the only place we have ever stayed where there were enough towels!! All of the furnishings were beautiful and the house is huge!! Plenty of room to spread out. Our children really enjoyed the bicycles and I enjoyed the private pool. We scheduled our beach setup in advance and our chairs were waiting every day right in front of the beach access. The owners were wonderful!! They even called to check on us after we checked in and out. I would definitely recommend this house to everyone. I hope we can stay here again soon.

Beautiful home, perfect location, great vacation!
We rented Neptune's Nook for our Spring Break 2013 trip and had a wonderful time. Our group was a mix of high school age, middle school age and adults and the house fit all of our needs. The floor plan was perfect - the high schoolers stayed on the 3rd floor, adult on the middle floor and a family (2 adults, 2 middle school kids) on the bottom floor. The amenities were perfect. The younger kids enjoyed the foosball table. The adults enjoyed the balcony for evening relaxation. All enjoyed the pool and the bikes. The location was perfect - directly across the street from the beach access and our rented chairs were right by the beach steps as requested. The home was lovely, well equipted and very clean. The owners were very easy to work with, very communicative and fixed items that were of issue before we even realized they needed fixing. I would highly recommend this home for a large family, multiple families and chaperoned groups. We all had a great time!
