We enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect! It was large, clean and had everything that we needed! The property management was our only issue. We went to them 4 times about us getting told the correct place for our 3rd vehicle to park and they never gave us correct information. Even with a parking pass, they kept giving us parking violations. This was an unpleasant part of our stay here.

Our family enjoyed staying at Sunset Island. There is so much to do with leaving the resort. It was a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The home fit our family and was very spacious.

The location and set up of the house is amazing. However, if you want to use your pool passes the first night you better get there at 4 because the office closes at 4:30- stupid set up on timing. Also beware the passes you need to park and swim are delegate costs paid out of pocket when you arrive, when we arrived our place had barely been cleaned. Dirty toilets with gunk where the bolts fasten seat to toilet, broken toilet paper holders hanging out of the walls, wobbly dining chairs, crumbs on surfaces and on floor in bedroom 1 and kitchen surfaces not wiped down and carpets need cleaning.

The property is awesome. Sunset Island is a hidden gem inside Ocean City, Maryland. This is my first stay here and won’t be my last. So much to do within the property to enjoy your stay with family and friends.

Rental process smooth and easy! Check In very easy! We had a wonderful 4 Generations of family vacation! Only problem we encountered was that Cleaning Service does not perform very well. We had to wipe down tables, due to spills that were not cleaned by the previous tenants. All in all, we love Sunset Island.

Beautiful property
This was our first time staying at Sunset Island. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 2 months to 68 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and privacy, and also enough room on the main level for everyone to enjoy a meal together or watch TV. The community itself is beautiful with plenty of activities. We rented kayaks one afternoon and were also in walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

everything was great on the rental the entire week. the property of sunset island management office was not a good experience at all. was given wrong information and was never allowed to use the pool which was one of the reasons we rented this property. if it wasnt for the great experience of the rental company i probably would never go back to sunset island.

We stayed in this house 4 yrs ago, wonderful experience. Our 2021 stay was unacceptable. The house needs a deep cleaning: carpets shampooed, bath mats and rugs should be washed or replaced after each rental, shower glass doors and shower floors scrubbed, air filters changed, mold removed from ice maker, sofas and upholstered chairs shampooed. There were dead insects in one kitchen cabinet and ants in one bedroom as well as living area. Simple repairs were needed throughout the house, we provided a list to the management company as well as an email describing the condition of the house. To date, we received no response.

Great property in a perfect location!
The property is exactly as described. It is in a perfect location with plenty of shops and food options within walking distance. Only downfall is not realizing the number of stairs to the larger bedroom (LOL).

Gorgeous Island and great house
It is easy to locate and within walking distance to pool and lovely bay beach. The house was cleaned but had soiled bath rugs and showers. I cleaned before use!! The garage door opener and light switches were very dirty. Otherwise I loved the house and neighborhood. Will stay there again.

The FR/LR/Kitchen area was great. We were VERY disappointed at the unavailability of the community pool. One of the biggest reasons we chose this location was access to pool for our grandchildren. We were diligent about trying to get signed up, but each and every time we were blocked out. We contacted the property managers looking for some assistance but were basically not heard. COVID was not the problem...the problem was we were not given sufficient info or time to "beat the rush" and it was apparent that other groups knew the system better than we did. Since we were not going out for dinners (due to our large group, small grandchildren and COVID, we had counted on being able to break up the day for the kids by using the pool. As always, the OC beaches were beautiful. All of this said, we still rate the experience good and hope that next year we can be given better access to the community pool.

The rental management company is very unprofessional
We checked in the place and found out that is dirty and have not been cleaned! Contacted the rental company and after couple of call and text messages, they realized that they forgot to clean the property! After driving 5 hours to get there now we had to wait another 3 hours for them to clean place!

Excellent Accomodations
Property is well maintained and includes many amenities. Kitchen is well supplied with utensils/dishes,cookware so no need to bring any extra supplies. Also has a large supply of beach equipment(chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards). House is spacious and not cluttered with needless decorations. A very nice place!

Great Family Time in O. C.
Hi Dave. The Berry family had a GREAT time at 39 Canal Walk. We thank you for all you did to make our first family vacation happen. Thank you also for addressing our two issues early on. I still can't believe how fast the plumber got to the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to O.C. and are already talking about the possibility of doing this again in 2020. Enjoy the rest of summer and we will enjoy our family memories. Steve Berry

Excellent and relaxing week away!
We loved our stay. The place was great, location was away from the chaos of ocean city itself, but still close enough to visit the boardwalk and restaurants. The private beach and pool were the best. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you!

Very sizable property. Not a fan of having to purchase a $70 parking pass to park in the front of the property. Parking in the rear only. No garage door openers which was an inconvenience. Overall, a very nice, very clean, and great amenities.

Great location for families!
Loved the house and surrounding area. The private bay was great for the kids and the pool section was nice. We spent majority of our time on the bay because the house only came with 6 pool passes, but it was super nice on the bay so we didn’t mind it (and we thought we would). Would definitely stay again.

One Of The Best Town Homes in Sunset Island
We have rented a few different properties in Sunset Island, and this is our favorite.
Plenty of space (and beds). TVs in every room. Reliable WiFi. Included beach stuff (chairs, cart, boogie boards, etc.) -- why doesn't every property include these items?! All in all, a great property. It's a smaller floor plan than other town homes, but the layout is great. Will book again.
They didn't share a garage door opener or code, which means you have to have someone close the garage door manually and lock up the front door every time you leave. Very small annoyance.
